Michael did a great interview with Screen Rant this week!
Michael: "Sometimes I wouldn't think at all, sometimes the camera would just move in on me and I turned my head. I wasn't thinking about anything, and people would say, 'Oh my gosh, what were you thinking about?' I'd go 'Nothing! I was thinking about nothing. Lunch, I'm hungry!' I think that's sometimes when you can clear your brain of thought, people wonder 'What is he up to?' He's not up to anything, he's just checking out Clark's butt!"
On last week’s TalkVille podcast, the boys discussed “Hourglass.”
Tom: “One thing that comes out in this episode, is the charm you brought to the character, which isn’t written. Lex is a guy who seems to know what everyone’s going to do and he’s always one step ahead. There’s no charm in that, it’s actually kinda annoying to be around people like that. There’s a way you kinda saunter around that is very interesting to watch, and humourous at times, which again, that’s not on the page.”
On last weeks TalkVille podcast, Michael and Tom discussed the episode Metamorphosis, and their growing friendship in season 1!
Tom: “It’s not like a slow motion shot that you walked around a corner and I saw you and was like “wow, this is going to be great!”
Michael: “We’re going to be the stuff of legend.”
Tom: “I think it’s like such little things that happened in the moments that matter that just naturally occurred between us, where we protected each other.”

Tom: “Michael was a great teacher for me as well…we did a take when Clark ran into Lex’s library…I said all this stuff to Lex, probably about Lana and where she is. I get right in his face, I finish what I’m saying and he goes “Do it again -” So I said it all again and they’re like “Cut! Great! Moving on.” Because we worked together enough that he’s like “you can do better than that.” You need that from a good working partner.”
Michael (on Tom): “After the show was done, we became really close. I became close with his family. We just had more time to, like, get to know each other. We travel a lot together. We had a real fondness and respect for each other.”
Michael and Tom were interviewed for DC Fandome yesterday!
Tom (to Michael): "There was something that happened, or it was established between us early on, that I never had to question your motives, as far as a trust atmosphere with performance. And still to this day. I don't actually remember meeting you. I feel like I've just always known you."
