Hi everyone!! I'll be putting my blogs on semi-hiatus for now. I'll try to be around now and then but I got to put my health first for a bit! Details will be below the cut. So. I had my check-up at the hospital yesterday. Had blood tested again last week for this, and got the results yesterday. Basically, all the values we wanted to go down have just risen once more. It's to do with my infection levels/CRP and my liver, both are still on the higher side and show no signs of lowering, and instead rose, despite it being two months now. It makes sense, cause my symptoms (muscle / joint / back and knee pain and extreme tiredness) have just worsened a tad too, so I feel kinda validated in a way as well? That I'm not making stuff up I mean, or that it's most likely not due to my brain's way of badly processing stimuli.

Either way, it's not good, so I now have a PET scan and an echo planned and they took more blood for testing. I'm honestly kinda afraid of what they could find given family history, but I also know it's better to just test and see than to just wait and do nothing. So yeah, that's my situation right now. I still go to my zoo work, and I still love it there, but I have to take a step back in multiple areas cause I just fall asleep after dinner and then sleep for 12-14 hours a day. It's just not healthy, and the lack of evening time to spend on hobbies has slowly dented my mood as well ;u; I'll try to be around at times, but I just need to watch my health for now ;u; I'll be around on discord a lot still, so feel free to ask for that! Hibi seems a little caught off guard too, trying his best not to cry. Hau pats the Pokémon on the head, trying to soothe him. "You gave us both quite the startle, it seems."

We'll go biological father for this one to make things a bit easier dsfhdsf Hau doesn't like his dad. He hates how he abandoned them, and mostly how much he emotionally hurt his mom when he did. He also tried to ask Hau to run away with him to Kanto during the Kahuna crowning party after years of radio silence, which Hau really despised. Influence wise, he caused a lot of doubts in Hau's mind about Kahunaship. Especially now Hau's Kahuna and still unsure about if this is what he wanted to be, he can't help but be reminded of his dad and just feel awful and compare himself with him.

Do they always rationalize errors? How do they accept disasters and failures?

They try to. Keyword is try. Sometimes the errors feel huge, too big to be allowed. They have a fear of failure, and yet are a perfectionist who expects too much of themself.

Of course, sometimes he has to accept things. It takes a long time for them to come to terms with it, and they often replay the situation in their mind to think of better ways to handle it in the future. They need help from their family and friends to truly let the situation go, usually.

They lead an arts and crafts workshop on Melemele Island, and sometimes on other islands as well! It's a fairly new thing for them, but they enjoy teaching people the joys of different types of crafts. I feel like Hala suggested it and kinda launched Hau into it to get their leader skills up. Not that Hau can't lead people, but they're still rather uncomfortable and unassertive with that part of Kahunaship.

Anything crafty, but mostly: - Baking & cooking - Drawing, arts and crafts, crochet - Video games - Exercising As for interests: - Pokémon training/battling & raising - They like to loredive for (creepy) games they played - Learning new skills / crafts - Nature

8. How does your character feel about religion? Hau isn't completely sure, if that makes sense? They do run the shrine for Tapu-Koko and takes care of all the offerings handed to them by visitors. They make offerings themself, too. Hau also visits the Moon shrine, and is a regular there. There's also the blessing that he received (which has turned him into a demigod unbeknownst to him as of yet). They definitely have respect for deities and gods, due to their upbringing (and a little due to the blessing). But at the same time, he knows they're fickle beings. He prefers to work together with them, if possible, instead of relying completely on them.

13. Did they like school? Teachers? Schoolmates? I feel like they liked it! His mom is one of the teachers at the trainers school on Melemele, which definitely helped him being less shy and feel more at home there. He was pretty popular amongst schoolmates due to Hala being the Kahuna, and due to his sunny and friendly demeanor. Teachers liked him as well, though he had trouble keeping his attention at times. 49. What about voice? Pitch? Strength? Tempo and rhythm of speech? Pronunciation? Accent?

Pitch is on the higher side, strength is medium. Sometimes they talk too quickly when they get excited, or accidentally drop words. His pronunciation is pretty clear, and the accent is Alolan!
