CHARLIE JACKSON.
Tumblr media
“So, was that all talk before then?” A chuckle sounded from Charlie, his dark eyes venturing to find where the cue ball had flown off the table and rolled to. “Why’d you bother challenging me?” With a shake of his head, he turned away from the table with his arms crossed in front of him, eyes still searching. Ok, maybe they hadn’t exactly challenged, but they’d gone from a drink or two to talking about playing once a table opened up. Charlie wasn’t some pool shark, he did know his way around a billiard table and enjoyed playing when the opportunity arose. Mostly for the company and that chat, even if every now and again he won some decent scores of cash. Especially now though, it was a good distraction from all that was going on in his head. It also kept him from sitting and slinging back drink after drink at the bar. “I’m feeling kind today, once we find the cue ball, you wanna try again?”
Tumblr media
Her eyes followed the white little ball as it bounced off the table and crashed in a resounding sound that made some heads turn. You’d think that the bar’s atmosphere would have prevented them from hearing her disastrous attempt at showing off, but her cheeks reddened rapidly at the attention she’d drawn. Talia wasn’t a particularly shy person, but she’d definitely been a loud one after her fourth shot of tequila had convinced her to defy Charlie in a pool battle she deep down knew she’d lose.
Still, Talia kept her composure and rolled her eyes at his words, however still chasing after the cue ball to pick it up as a small chuckle left her lips. Once it was on the table again, she turned to the man and sighed in defeat. “How generous! I’m not willing to give up just yet so wipe that smirk off your face and come teach me how to do this,” she ordered lightly, placing her cue back on the table and waiting for him to come around.

ROSE BERNAT.
𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓.  @phxstarters
“   some douche bag keeps buying me drinks.  this message you’re gonna help me send is way overdue.  “  rose slides the drink to them,  careful not to spill more than condensation.    “ from him,  to me,  to you.   de nada. “

“I love it when the creeps get loose with their wallet,” Talia smirked, grabbing the glass with no hesitation and taking a long sip. She made sure her eyes stayed locked on the man in question while she did so and casually shrugged before turning her attention back to the brunette before her.
“Get me enough of these and I might have a better message to send him,” she dragged out, her gaze falling to the stranger’s lips. Truth was, Talia had been drinking for a while now and while her friend had decided to turn in early, she simply could not bring herself to go home yet. Maybe she wouldn’t be heading back to the apartment all alone after all, which seemed comforting enough to keep her sipping on the woman’s drink.

She was not soft. She smelled like cigarettes, leather, and ground black coffee. And when you inhaled, she burned your lungs the way that made you want to do it again. She was danger, and you wanted her.
