Hi everyone! I'm Berri and I work at Gobe Inc. ! Today is my fifth day working for them, I'm off today laying in bed because everything hurts. To start out with I am working at Home because my last boss a local lesbian, who owns a food delivery company basically replaced the whole staff with cheap foriegn call center people from the Philipines, which wouldn't be that big a deal except they are not nearly as fun to talk to or party with as my old friends who worked there. So I quit and Gobe pays so much better. I'm making 16 an hour for now but I hope that will change soon.

Things you need to know about this week:

I started on opening for my warehouse.

My position is just putting boxes somewhere and hoping the robotic overlords that watch over us remember where they are so someone else can find them when they get ordered.

My job requires standing up for 9 1/2 hours a day where as before it was all sitting, so I am learning I am very out of shape.

Gobe is hiring at 17 an hour a week after I started. I plan to get this same rate eventually but we will see.

Gobe arrests people who sit down. Like they have robot security looking for anyone sitting. They just charge with trespassing and you go to jail for like a week but you still get fired. Not even the HR people are allowed to sit, and they are all witches who could fly around on brooms but again they aren't allowed to sit on them. My boss is kind of allowed to sit because he is a two headed tentacle monster who can't really stand, but that's only because he's protected under disability laws.

I'm pretty sure gobe hired us just to inflict pain on us, because they have robots that do all of our jobs but don't use them for some reason.
