Zhuan seng to become zhi wai. Fui fuk zhi seng, seng fat (cheng fo). Close to Enlightenment which with no differentiation. Mona become pin deng. Xin fo peng deng. That is the state of Buddhahood. The world is using a piece of paper to weigh everything, cert for qualification, paper owns land and houses. A piece of paper becomes everything, your self worth as light as a piece of paper....Jing zhen guo. Fang xia chai but ku, let go and burden's gone...Compassion is your focus, is your life. If no compassion then only left unhappiness and sorrow. Happiness in Saha world is the start of unhappiness. Go back to the neutral state is happiness, no unhappiness. You need to peace down, silent give rise to wisdom. My heart is my way place. Wo xin ju shi tao chang. Fo got 52 jie ti. Let go, become Arhat, let go become Pusa and let go become Buddha.

You are fo why cannot become fo?

Becos u never let go of the 6 realm or rebirth activities. Greed, anger, ignorance (3 poisons need to let go 1st)

All ppl are the creation of their minds.

Then can u nian fo (real valuable activities the rests are useless)? All problems are due to cant let go of afflictions. Zhe xin give rise to Amituofo & Western Pureland. All existence is creation of the mind. How to let go of everything and seek rebirth in Pureland. All existence, this Saha world is creation of the mind / messy thoughts. Our body is our own manifestation of the (our) mind. Let go of the thoughts and mind, it will take u to next creation / manifestation. Practice but forget don't put practice into the mind. Be forgetful but only remember where you are going, Western Pureland so keep that in mind. This is called freedom of the mind (like depicted in Heart Sutra, freedom - zezai), our only aim which is zezai warng serng si fang ji le sher chieh. Love is the opposite of wisdom. Wisdom can only arise from compassion if you can turn love to compassion. Love can be a distraction to a cultivator. Love is not real. Reason stuck in 6 realms of retribution is love (because got form and conditions), everything of this nature is impermanent, hence love is not real, jia xiang. U cant come out. Dont let jia siang chi pien ni de xin. Dont be fooled by a false image / appearance. Use peng deng xin to console sentient beings, Buddha treat everyone like his father, the King. The thanxiang, cow agarwood no longer here. Go Western Pureland: (Haitao Fashi) Use 3 fu tien, kan ern de fu tien, zhun jing de fu tien, cher pei de fu tien. (Chin Kung Fashi) 3 fu, xiao shun fu mu / respective teachers - 1. Filial piety is the root. 2. Take refuges, san kwai yi / chi kai. 3. Sam sun yan ko (first, nian fo yin, cheng fo zhi ko). Ying guang fa shi. Wu liang yik zhi zhai fan now, Da zhi zai tien wang tha men di fu de guang ming bu nen kan dao. In front of rulai, it's gone. Fan fu. We have 51 mental factors

Everything u have contact with is to let u 'suffer' all circumstances created in some past lives that u cant see or remember. The purpose of cultivation is to realised this truth (6 realms of rebirth). To break and escape this cycle is to achieve Buddhahood. Fastest way is to see all existences as one and of the same. If u destroy ur own defilements u are doing the same for others only when u have compassion and use 'peng deng, chi pei, po re xin'. This body is yeap bo. Life is like a bowl of salt water. Living it is like drinking it. You need to add more water not morr salt so it geys better over time. Get out of it, pour it back to the sea. You dont need to drink it. It is where water would return (thru true self discovery and enlightenment, practice of Buddhism to the highest level).

4 Universal Vows

Also sometimes called the Bodhisattva Vows, as they are essential to the Bodhisattva path of Mahāyāna Buddhism.

1. Sentient beings are limitless; I vow to liberate them.

眾生無邊誓願度

Zhòngshēng wúbiān shìyuàn dù

Zhong Shen Wu Bian Ser Yuan Tu

2. Afflictions are endless; I vow to eradicate them.

煩惱無盡誓願斷

Fánnǎo wújìn shìyuàn duàn

3. Teachings are infinite; I vow to learn them.

4. Buddhahood is supreme; I vow to attain it.

Fú dào wú shàng shìyuàn chéng

1. Du bu qu. Sorry.

2. Ching yuan liang wo. Please forgive me.

3. Xie xie ni. Thank you.

41 years. May 3rd, 2022 - May 3rd, 2062 (add one year worth of cultivation)

When the Prince, Siddhartha Gautama bids farewell to his father saying:

Even my love for Yasodhara…and my son…

cannot remove the pain I feel.

For I know that they too will have to suffer,

grow old…and die.

Like you, like me, like us all.

Yes. We must all die…

and be reborn…

and die again,

and be reborn and die,

and be reborn and die again.

No man can ever escape that curse.

Then that…is my task. I…will lift that curse.

At the moment of the attainment of awakening, the Buddha uttered the following:

"I travelled through the rounds of countless births through the cycle of existence,

Seeking but not finding the builder of this house [of 'self'] and again and again, I faced the suffering of new birth.

O Housebuilder, you have now been seen,

You shall not build a house again for me.

Your beams [defilements] have now been broken, Your ridgepole [ignorance] utterly shattered.

My mind has attained the supreme

'nibbana' ('blowing out')

Realised is the unconditioned, Achieved is the end of craving."

(Dhammapada Verses 153 and 154)

When attachment arises in our mind it does not feel harmful; on the contrary it usually feels beneficial. Therefore, it is important to contemplate repeatedly the faults of attachment and to recognize it as a delusion whose only function is to cause us harm.

Remember one cannot trust what you sees because ur eyes are imperfecg and cannot see the absolute truth. This organ limitation is bounded by it creations. It is created from delusion. What is deluded cannot revealed it undeluded nature. Just like the blind leading the blind...it is still within the same state which is called suffering. When u see without seeing and when u have sight of not using any organ is when the truth would be revealed and the absolute truth is the state overcoming delusion or samsara, the true escape of realm of rebirths. Is when u crossed the other shore. The state of relization, Buddhood, the enlightment.

Gotta give it to the actors for this costume drama, well done and great chemistry on and off screen from the looks of the BTS scenes that were shot last year showing how fun and hard it is to film such scenes yet they joke around during filming. 40 eps doesnt seem like it was enough though felt it could have gone maybe a few more eps some wat to maybe the amount of eps Eternal Love of Dreams had but they ended it well not so depressing. Ju Jing Yi and Zeng Shun Xi as both Princess Baoning and Li Qian worked well together, there love had some ups and downs but it still prevailed at the end even with love rivals getting in the way which was a bit to much lol.

Li Qian was instantly likeable in the first ep, something about a man who has martial arts skills and charm also his eyes in certain scenes. Zeng Shun Xi (Joseph Zeng) has that sense of fitting in and being charming also doing some great stunt work even if it wasn't all him he captured it well. Li QIan had his fair share of being a wounded man but still came outbrave and tough, the emotional scenes more towards the end brought tears to my eyes seeing him torn between a old family grudge between his family and the reveal that the woman he loved was in the middle of it was hard to watch, Baoming had no clue that her own family was behind the demise of his mothers/ Li village slaughter years ago. Li Qian feelings and sadness to blame it on her was tough that it strained their relationship but he still fought to keep them together even when his father was in the way. His father on the other hand shouldnt had to be such a jerk, he didnt even really think it through as soon as he heard that Baonings father was the one behind the Li VIllage being destroyed he put the blame on her and tried to end their marriage which was going a bit overboard even if his dad had the power it was more up to Qian and Baoning to sign the papers which Qian didnt want to do because he never hated her he just felt torn with learning the truth which wasn't the real truth just a word coming from someone saying it was her father who killed ppl and somehow forgot to really look into the claim but Baoning figured it out and both apologized

Jiang Bao Ning / Princess Jia Nan gurl is smart loves being crafty when it comes to making things. She also got some feistiness when it comes to defending those she loves close to her. I think her outfits were stunning but the headpieces seemed a bit too much in some scenes. I like her more natural hair than being adorned with such fancy things. I get it because she's a princess and all but they overdid it with all those fancy head garments. Felt that she shouldn't have to really wear it when she was at home she looked better without it in some scenes. Baoning had her strong moments and not-so-good ones but she stood tall and kept fighting through. Loved how she would get cocky when it was against Qian's so-called i guess adopted sister Miarong and the stepmother who was a bit greedy with money. Miao Rong being the love rival and all was a bit to much but it showed the capable side of Baoning when it came to catfighting. Qian could try and try to defend her but Baoning knew how to handle such girls.

LOVE RIVALS - Gao Miao Rong // ZhaoXiao were going nuts which made it a bit too much.

Miao Rong was so in love with Li Qian from their youth time that she never ever thought to confess til he ended up getting married that she tried over and over to tear them apart. She schemed a bit to much even used QIan's stepmother to help till she had a mental breakdown when she was caught red-handed at almost putting Baoning in harm's way that she had enough and snapped at Qian and his parents to somehow cut her pinky finger off. She ended up leaving but still held grudge that she ended up working with the Empress Dowager until she got herself into trouble again causing her to get a beating in which her savior became her lover and she slowly changed and got her happy ending where she rode off with her new love to start over clean before that she helped Baoning with stopping whatever plans the Empress Dowager had planned.

Zhao Xiao well damn that guy was a jerk and an ass and pretty much deserved to live in misery. Dude falls in love the moment he sees her but she shoots him down left and right but still tries that his last attempt nearly cost Qian his life and even then when Baoning said it one last time he still wouldn't let it go til his ending left him being exiled unless he was needed in the future since he was a military man.

Zhao Yi (Emperor) was also head over heels in love with Baoning but that was more of a familial type thing since they grew up in the palace and he dreamed of being married to her but got shot down by her grandmother who was the great empress dowager, he ended up being stuck with a woman he never loved but that empress chick was so in love with him it was all one-sided. He hated the QIan got his girl he tried to doom their marriage but his ending was kinda sad but he got to say his goodbye to Baoning.

OTHER PAIRINGS

Dong Dong (Li Qians baby half sisiter) and Qing An oh that young love, Dong grew up being more of tom boy she loves to sword fight and dress up more as a guy which doesnt make sense how people cant tell if she is a boy or girl just by what she wears lol. Qing An at first was a mystery but soon find out he is royal in another part of the town but he rather be a simple guy than rule but his crazy over powered brother who is ruthless tried a few times to kill him and even somehow gave him a mental break in the head that he slowly came to be him self again but he loved how DOng DOng was treating him and just wanted to be with her at all costs even if pretending was the way but she caught on lol but she still loved him no matter if he was going to be dumb or not. she never cared of who he was by blood he saved her and fell in love which was new to them both. Cute relationship now she doesnt have to be forced to date other men lol bc her mom that woman lol kept wanting her to get married but her happy ending came true but she also was going to be away from them since she was going ot be with Qing An in his town.

Baoning didnt abort the pregnancy

Li QIan was acused of killing the Great Empress Dowager til it was found to be an overdose due to the palace physicians who was under orders by the Empress Dowager

Baoning traded the Supreme weapon book to get hubby back from bad guy Qing Tai who is crazy for power.

Qing Tai thinks he created a weapon but finds that the mre its used it will back fire bc there was a hidden key to keeping it from exploding over time which Baoning and her master in weapons worked over time to figure out.

time jump to 5yrs and baby girl Li Ancheng who is like both Mother and Father combined, got the tree climbing thing from dad and the fiesty side from mom lol over all cute but wasnt spent with Baoning and Qian, both went off to see the town at a beautiful viewing spot having a moment to themselves.

Why did Wu and Shu seem to have a significant decrease in the quality of their Generals and officials in the latter days of the Three Kingdoms Era?

They didn't.

The folktales tend to be about the figures of the Sanping and Jian'an eras. Cao Cao, Guan Yu, and the like. There are a handful from the Three Kingdoms who get stories (Deng Ai and Jiang Wei, for example) but not nearly as many as in the previous era. That leads to a very confused perception that the commanders of later years were inferior to those of the earlier times.

There's also the fact that warfare during the Three Kingdoms had lower stakes. During the Sanping and Jian'an years, a single battle could determine the fate of a warlord's entire army. There were many desperate do-or-die battles, which provided more opportunities to display individual heroics.

The battles of the Three Kingdoms were not so desperate. A loss here or there (or even frequent losses) did not put the state in peril. And armies were larger, better organized, and campaigns were better planned. That leaves room for fewer individual actions.

The commanders of the Three Kingdoms were by no means inferior to their predecessors. Off the top of my head, here are some people who are comparable to those Sanping-Jian'an figures when you strip away the folktales.

This list begins with those who became famous during the Three Kingdoms proper; after 220. Some were active before then, but this is when they became significant. It excludes, to some extent, figures who only became famous after Jin's conquest of Wu in 280.

Mills The functional impact of the vast majority of cancer somatic mutations remains unknown, representing a critical knowledge gap for implementing precision oncology. Here, we report the development of a moderate-throughput functional genomic platform consisting of efficient mutant generation, sensitive viability assays using two growth factor-dependent cell models, and functional proteomic profiling of signaling effects for select aberrations. We apply the platform to annotate >1,000 genomic aberrations, including gene amplifications, point mutations, indels, and gene fusions, potentially doubling the number of driver mutations characterized in clinically actionable genes. Further, the platform is sufficiently sensitive to identify weak drivers. Our data are accessible through a user-friendly, public data portal. Our study will facilitate biomarker discovery, prediction algorithm improvement, and drug development.

7.荈：讀音chuan。 8.楊執戟：即楊雄。西漢人。著有《方言》等書。 9.郭弘農：即郭璞。晉時人。註釋過《方言》、《爾雅》等字書。 10.藝而不實，藝，同“藝”，指種植技術。 11.葉卷上，葉舒次：葉片成捲狀者質量好，舒展平直者質量差。 12.性凝滯，結瘕疾：凝滯，凝結不散。瘕，腹中腫塊。《正字通》：“腹中腫塊，堅者曰症，有物形曰瘕”。 13.醍醐、甘露：皆為古人心中最美妙的飲品。醍醐，酥酪上凝聚的油，味甘美。甘露，即露水，古人說它是“天之津液”。 14.卉莽：野草。 15.上黨：唐時郡名，治所在今山西長治市，長子、潞城一帶。 16.百濟、新羅：唐時位於朝鮮半島上的兩個小國，百濟在半島西南部，新羅在半島東南部。 17.高麗：唐時周邊小國之一，即今朝鮮。 18.澤州、易州、幽州、澶州：皆為唐時州名。治所分別在今山西晉城、河北易縣、北京市區北，北京市懷柔縣一帶。 19.薺苨，一種形似人參的野果。苨，讀音ni。 20.六疾不瘳：六疾，指人遇陰、陽、風、雨、晦、明得的多種疾病。瘳，痊癒。二之具籯：一曰籃，一曰籠，一曰筥。以竹織之，受五升，或一斗、二斗、三鬥者，茶人負以採茶也。 [原註：籯，音盈，《漢書》所謂“黃金滿籯，不如一經。”顏師古云：“籯，竹器也，容四升耳。”] 灶：無用突者。釜：用唇口者。甑：或木或瓦，匪腰而泥。籃以箅之，篾以系之。始其蒸也，入乎箅；既其熟也，出乎箅。釜涸，注於甑中，[原註：甑，不帶而泥之。又以彀木枝三亞者制之，[原註：亞字當作椏，木椏枝也。 7.籃以箅之，篾以系之：箅，讀音bi。蒸籠中的竹屜。篾，讀音mie，長條細簿竹片，在此作從甑中取出箅的理耳。 8.襜：讀音chan系在衣服前面的圍裙。《爾雅.釋物》：“衣蔽前謂之襜。 9.芘莉：芘，讀音bi。芘莉，竹製的盤子類器具。 10.蒡莨：讀音pang lang。籠、盤一類盛物器具。 11.棨：讀音qi，穿茶餅用的錐刀。 12.令煴煴（注1）然：煴，讀音yun。沒有光焰的火。煴煴然，火熱微弱的樣子。顏師古說：“煴，聚火無焰者也。” 三之造凡採茶，在二月，三月，四月之間。茶之筍者，竽爛石沃土，長四、五寸，若薇蕨始抽，凌露採焉。茶之芽者，發於叢薄之上，有三枝、四枝、五枝者，選其中枝穎拔者採焉。其日，有雨不採，晴有云不採；晴，采之、蒸之、搗之、焙之、穿之、封之、茶之幹矣。茶有千萬狀，鹵莽而言，如胡人靴者，蹙縮然；[原註：京錐文也。 ]犎牛臆者，廉襜然；[原註：犎，音朋，野牛也。 ]浮雲出山者，輪[囗禾]然；輕飆拂水也。 ]又如新治地者，遇暴雨流潦之所經；此皆茶之精腴。有如竹籜者，枝幹堅實，艱於蒸搗，故其形籭簁然；有如霜荷者，莖葉凋沮，易其狀貌，故厥狀委悴然；此皆茶之瘠老者也。自採至於封，七經目。自胡靴至於霜荷，八等。或以光黑平正言佳者，斯鑑之下也。以皺黃坳垤言佳者，鑑之次也。若皆言佳及皆言不佳者，鑑之上也。何者？出膏者光，含膏者皺宿制者則黑，日成者則黃；蒸壓則平正，縱之則坳垤；此茶與草木葉一也。茶之否臧，存於口決。註釋： 1.若薇蕨始抽，凌露採焉：薇、蕨，都是野菜。《詩經.小雅》有“采薇”篇，《毛傳》：“薇，菜也”。《詩經》又有“吉採其蕨”句，《詩義疏》說：“蕨，山菜也”。二者都在春季抽芽生長。凌，冒著。 2.叢薄：灌木、雜草叢生的地方。《漢書注》：“灌木曰叢”。楊雄《甘草同賦注》：“草叢生曰薄”。 3.京錐文也：京，高大。《詩經.皇矣》：“依其在京”。《毛傳》：“京，大阜也”。錐，刀錐。文，同“紋”。全句意為：大鑽子刻鑽的花紋。 4.臆者，廉襜然：臆，指牛胸肩部位的肉。廉，邊側。《說文》：“廉，仄也”。襜，帷幕。全句意為：像牛胸肩的肉，像側邊的帷幕。 5.輪[囗禾]：輪，車輪。 [囗禾]，圓頂的倉。《說文》：“籭，竹器也”《集韻》說就是竹篩。 6.竹籜：竹筍的外殼。籜，讀音ruo。 7.籭簁兩相通，讀音亦同：si。皆為竹器。《說文》：“籭，竹器也”《集韻》說就是竹篩。 8.坳垤：土地低下處叫坳，小土堆叫垤。形容茶餅表面的凸凹不平。 9.否臧：否，讀音pi，貶，非議。臧，褒獎。《世說新語.德行第一》：“每與人言，未嘗臧否人物。” 卷中四之器風爐（灰承）筥炭撾火筴鍑交床夾紙囊碾拂末羅合則水方漉水囊瓢竹筴鹺簋揭碗熟盂畚札滌方滓方巾具列都籃風爐[灰承] 風爐：以銅、鐵鑄之，如古鼎形。厚三分，緣闊九分，令六分虛中，致其污墁。凡三足，古文書二十一字：一足雲：“坎上巽下離於中”；一足雲：“體均五行去百疾”；一足雲：“聖唐滅胡明年鑄。”其三足之間，設三窗，底一窗以為通飆漏燼之所。上並古文書六字：一窗之上書“伊公”二字；一窗之上書“羹陸”二字；一窗之上書“氏茶”二字，所謂“伊公羹、陸氏茶”也。置滯(土旁)[土臬]，於其內設三格：其一格有翟焉，翟者，火禽也，畫一卦曰離；其一格有彪焉，彪者，風獸也，畫一卦曰巽；其一格有魚焉，魚者，水蟲也，畫一卦曰坎。巽主風，離主火，坎主水，風能興火，火能熟水，故備其三卦焉。其飾，以連葩、垂蔓、曲水、方文之類。其爐，或鍛鐵為之，或運泥為之.其灰承，作三足鐵[木半]抬之。筥：以竹織之，高一尺二寸，徑闊七寸。或用藤，作木楦如筥形織之。六出圓眼。其底蓋若莉篋口①，鑠之。炭撾：以鐵六棱制之。長一尺，銳上豐中。執細頭，系一小[钅展],以飾撾也。若今之河隴軍人木吾也。或作槌，或作斧，隨其便也。火筴：一名箸，若常用者，圓直一尺三寸。頂平截，無蔥薹句鏁之屬。以鐵或熟銅製之。鍑（音輔，或作釜，或作鬴）：以生鐵為之。今人有業冶者，所謂急鐵，其鐵以耕刀之趄煉而鑄之。內抹土而外抹沙。土滑於內，易其摩滌；沙澀於外，吸其炎焰。方其耳，以令正也。廣其緣，以務遠也。長其臍，以守中也。臍長，則沸中；沸中，末易揚，則其味淳也。洪州以瓷為之，萊州以石為之。瓷與石皆雅器也，性非堅實，難可持久。用銀為之，至潔，但涉於侈麗。稚則雅矣，潔亦潔矣，若用之恆，而卒歸於鐵也。交床：以十字交之，剜中令虛，以支鍑也。夾：以小青竹為之，長一尺二寸。令一寸有節，節以上剖之，以炙茶也。彼竹之筱，津潤於火，假其香潔以益茶味。恐非林谷間莫之致。或用精鐵、熟銅之類，取其久也。紙囊：以剡藤紙白厚者夾縫之，以貯所炙茶，使不洩其香也。碾：以桔木為之，次以梨，桑、桐、柘為之。內圓而外方。內圓，備於運行也；外方，制其傾危也。內容墮而外無餘木。墮，形如車輪，不輻而軸焉。長九寸，闊一寸七分。墮徑三寸八分，中厚一寸，邊厚半寸。軸中方而執圓。其拂未，以鳥羽制之。羅、合：羅末，以合貯之，以則置合中。用巨竹剖而屈之，以紗絹衣之。其合，以竹節為之，或屈杉以漆之。高三寸，蓋一寸，底二才，口徑四寸。則：以海貝、蝸蛤之屬，或以銅、鐵，竹匕、策之類。則者，量也，準也，度也。凡煮水一升，用末方寸匕”，若好薄者減之，故云則也。水方：以稠榜木（原註，音冑，木名也。］槐、楸、梓等合之，其里井外縫漆之。受一斗。漉水囊：若常用者。其格，以生銅鑄之，以備水濕無有苔穢、腥澀之意；以熟銅、苔穢；鐵，腥澀也。林棲谷隱者，或用之竹木。木與竹非持久涉遠之具，故用之生銅，其囊，織青竹以卷之，裁碧縑以縫之，細翠鈿以綴之，又作油綠囊以貯之。圓徑五寸，柄一寸五分。瓢：一曰犧、杓，剖瓠為之，或刊木為之。晉舍人杜毓《荈賦》雲：“酌之以瓠”。瓠，瓢也，口闊，胚薄，柄短。永嘉中，餘姚人虞洪入瀑布山採茗，遇一道士云：“吾，丹丘子，祈子他日甌犧之餘，乞相遺也。”犧，木杓也。今常用以梨木為之。竹筴：或以桃、柳、蒲葵木為之，或以柿心木為之。長一尺，銀裹兩頭。鹺簋：以瓷為之，圓徑四寸，若合形。或瓶、或缶。貯鹽花也。其揭，竹製，長四寸一分，闊九分。揭，策也。熟盂：以貯熟水。或瓷、或砂。受二升。碗：越州上，鼎州、婺州次；丘州上，壽州、洪州次。或者以邢州處越州上，殊為不然。若邢瓷類銀，越瓷類玉，邢不如越一也；若邢瓷類雪，則越瓷類冰，邢不如越二也；邢瓷白而茶色丹，越瓷青而茶色綠，邢不如越三也。晉杜琉《荈賦》所謂：“器擇陶揀，出自東甌”。甌，越州也，甌越上。口唇不捲，底捲而淺，受半升以下。越州瓷、丘瓷皆青，青則益茶，茶作紅白之色。邢州瓷白，茶色紅；壽州瓷黃，茶色紫；洪州瓷褐，茶色黑；悉不宜茶。畚：以白蒲捲而編之，可貯碗十枚，或用筥。其紙帊以剡紙夾縫令方，亦十之也。札：緝栟櫚皮，以茱萸莫木夾而縛之，或截竹束而管之，若巨筆形。滌方：以貯洗滌之餘。水方，受八升。滓方：以集諸滓，制如滌方，處五升。巾：以拖縍佈為之。長二尺，作二枚，互用之，以潔諸器。具列：或作床，或作架。或純木、純竹而製之；或木或竹……，黃黑可扃而漆者。長三尺，闊二尺，高六寸。具列者，悉斂諸器物，悉以陳列也。都籃：以悉設諸器而名之，以竹蔑，內作三角方眼，外以雙蔑闊者經之，以單蔑纖者縛之，遞壓雙經，作方眼，使玲成。高一尺五寸，底闊一尺，高二寸，長二尺四寸，闊二尺。 [註釋] 1.污漫：本為塗牆用的工具。這裡指塗泥。 2.坎上巽下離於中：坎、巽、離都是八卦的卦名，坎為水，巽為風，離為火。 3."盛唐滅胡明年鑄”：盛唐滅胡，指唐平息安史之亂，時在唐廣德元年（763），此鼎則鑄於公元764年。 4.伊公羹、陸氏茶：伊公，指商湯時的大尹伊摯。相傳他善調湯昧，世稱“伊公羹”。陸，即陸羽自己。 “陸氏茶”。陸羽的茶具。 5.犎比滂：讀音die2 nie4。犎，貯藏。《廣韻》：“滯，貯也，止也。”比滂，土堆。《集韻》：“比滂，小山也”。 6.三足鐵籭：籭，通“盤”，盤子。 7.莉筴：用小竹蔑編成的長方形箱子。 8.木吾：木棒。崔豹《古今注》：“木吾，樟也”。 9.蔥[艹壹]、句簁，[艹壹]，讀音tan4。蔥的籽實，長在蔥的頂部，呈圓珠形。句，通“勾”，彎曲形。簁，即“鎖”的異體字。 10.耕刀之趄：耕刀，即鋤頭、犁頭。趄，讀音ju，艱難行走之意，成語有“趑趄不前”，此引申為壞的、舊的。 11.洪州：唐時州名。治所在今江西南昌一帶。 12.萊州：唐時州名。治所在今山東掖縣一帶。 13.被竹之筱：筱，竹的一種，名小箭竹。 14.判藤紙：產於唐時浙江剡縣、用藤為原料製成的紙，潔白細緻有韌性，為唐時包茶��用紙。 15.竹匕：匕，讀bi3．匙子。 16.用末方寸匕：用竹匙挑起茶葉末一平方寸。陶弘景《名醫別錄》：“方寸匕者，作匕正方一寸，抄散取不落為度。” 17.漉水囊：漉，讀音ui，濾過。漉水囊，即濾水袋。 18.杜毓：西晉時人，字方叔，曾任中書舍人等職。 19.鹺簋：鹽罐，鹺，讀音cuo2，鹽。《禮記?曲禮》：“鹽曰咸鹺”。簋，讀音gui1，古代盛食物的圓口竹器。 20.越州、鼎州、婺州：越州，治所在今浙江省紹興地區。唐時越窯主要在餘姚，所產青瓷，極名貴。鼎州，冶所在今陝西省徑陽三原一帶。婺州，治所在今浙江省金華一帶。 21.岳州、壽州、洪州、邢州：皆唐時州郡名。治所分別在今湖南嶽陽、安徽壽縣、江西南昌、河北邢台一帶。 22.畚：讀音ben3。即簸箕。 23.滯(土旁)布，滯(土旁)，讀音shi1，粗綢。 24.扃：讀音jiong1，可關鎖的門。卷下五之煮凡炙茶，慎勿於風燼間炙，熛焰如鑽，使涼炎不均。特以逼火，屢其翻正，候炮出培塿狀蟆背(1)，然後去火五寸。捲而舒，則本其始，又炙之。若火幹者，以氣熟止；日干者，以柔止。其始，若茶之至嫩者，蒸罷熱搗，葉爛而芽筍存焉。假以力者，持千鈞杵亦不之爛，如漆科珠(2)，壯士接之，不能駐其指。及就，則似無穰骨也。炙之，則其節若倪倪如嬰兒之臂耳。既而，承熱用紙囊貯之，精華之氣無所散越，候寒末之。 [原註：末之上者，其屑如細米；末之下者，其屑如菱角。 ] 其火，用炭，次用勁薪。 [原註：謂桑、槐、桐、櫪之類也。 ]其炭曾經燔炙為羶膩所及，及膏木、敗器，不用之。 [原註：膏木，謂柏、松、檜也。敗器，謂朽廢器也。 ]古人有勞薪之味(3)，信哉！其水，用山水上，江水中，井水下。 [原註：《荈賦》所謂“水則岷方之注，挹彼清流(4)。”]其山水揀乳泉、石池漫流者上；其瀑湧湍漱，勿食之。久食，令人有頸疾。又水流於山穀者，澄浸不洩，自火天至霜郊以前(5)，或潛龍蓄毒於其間，飲者可決之，以流其惡，使新泉涓涓然，酌之。其江水，取去人遠者。井，取汲多者。其沸，如魚目(6)，微有聲，為一沸；緣邊如湧泉連珠，為二沸；騰波鼓浪，為三沸，已上，水老，不可食也。初沸，則水合量，調之以鹽味，謂棄其啜餘，[原註：啜，嘗也，市稅反，又市悅反。 ]無乃[鹵舀][鹵監]而鍾其一味乎，[原註：[鹵舀]，古暫反。 [鹵監]，吐濫反。無味也。 ]第二沸，出水一瓢，以竹環激湯心，則量末當中心而下。有頃，勢若奔濤濺沫，以所出水止之，而育其華也。凡酌至諸碗，令沫餑均。 [原註：字書並《本草》：“沫、餑,均茗沫也。”餑蒲笏反。 ]沫餑，湯之華也。華之薄者曰沫，厚者曰餑，輕細者曰花，花，如棗花漂漂然於環池之上；又如回潭曲渚青萍之始生；又如晴天爽朗，有浮雲鱗然。其沫者，若綠錢浮於水湄(7)；又如菊英墮於樽俎之中(8)。餑者，以滓煮之，及沸，則重華累沫，皤皤然若積雪耳(9)。《荈賦》所謂“煥如積雪，燁若春[莆方攵](10)"，有之。第一煮沸水，棄其上有水膜如黑雲母，飲之則其味不正。其第一者為雋永，[原註：徐縣、全縣二反。至美者曰雋永。雋，味也。永，長也。史長曰雋永，《漢書》蒯通著《雋永》二十篇也。 ]或留熟盂以貯之，以備育華救沸之用，諸第一與第二、第三碗次之，第四、第五碗外，非渴甚莫之飲。凡煮水一升，酌分五碗，[原註：碗數少至三，多至五；若人多至十，加兩爐。 ]乘熱連飲之。以重濁凝其下，精英浮其上。如冷，則精英隨氣而竭，飲啜不消亦然矣。茶性儉(11)，不宜廣，廣則其味黯澹。且如一滿碗，啜半而味寡，況其廣乎！其色緗也，其馨[上必下土右欠] 也，[原註：香至美曰[上必下土右欠]。 [上必下土右欠] ，音備。 ]其味甘，檟也；不甘而苦，荈也；啜苦咽甘，茶也。 [註釋] (1)炮出培塿狀蝦蟆背：炮，烘烤。培塿，小土堆。塿讀lou。蟆背，有很多丘泡，不平滑，形容茶餅表面起泡如蛙背。 (2)如漆科珠：科，用鬥稱量。《說文》：“從禾，從鬥。鬥者，量也”。這句意為用漆斗量珍珠，滑溜難量。 (3)勞薪之昧：用舊車輪之類��烤，食物會有異味。典出《晉書.荀勖傳》。 (4)挹彼清流：挹，讀yi，舀取。 (5)自火天至霜郊：火天，酷暑時節。《詩經.七月》：“七月流火”。霜郊，秋末冬初霜降大地。二十四節氣中，“霜降”在農曆九月下旬。 (6)如魚目：水初沸時，水面有許多小氣泡，像魚眼睛，故稱魚目。後人又稱“蟹眼”。 (7)水湄：有水草的河邊。《說文》：“湄，水草交為湄”。 (8)樽俎：樽是酒器，俎是砧板，這裡指各種餐具。 (9)皤皤然：皤，讀音po。皤皤，滿頭白髮的樣子。這裡形容白色水沫。 (10)燁若春[上艹下敷] ：燁，讀ye,光輝明亮。 [上艹下敷]，讀fu，花。《集韻》：“[上艹下敷]，花之通名。 (11)茶性儉：儉，儉樸無華。比喻茶葉中可溶於水的物質不多。六之飲翼而飛，毛而走，呿而言(1)，此三者俱生於天地間，飲啄以活，飲之時義遠矣哉！至若救渴，飲之以漿；蠲憂忿(2)，飲之以酒；盪昏寐，飲之以茶。茶之為飲，發乎神農氏(3)，聞於魯周公(4)，齊有晏嬰(5)，漢有楊雄、司馬相如(6)，吳有韋曜(7)，晉有劉琨、張載、遠祖納、謝安、左思之徒(8)，皆飲焉。滂時浸俗，盛於國朝，兩都並荊俞[原註：俞，當作渝。巴渝也]間(9)，以為比屋之飲。飲有粗茶、散茶、末茶、餅茶者。乃斫、乃熬、乃煬、乃舂，貯於瓶缶之中，以湯沃焉，謂之痷茶(10)。或用蔥、姜、棗、桔皮、茱萸、薄荷之等，煮之百沸，或揚令滑，或煮去沫，斯溝渠間棄水耳，而習俗不已。於戲！天育有萬物，皆有至妙，人之所工，但獵淺易。所庇者屋，屋精極；所著者衣，衣精極；所飽者飲食，食與酒皆精極之；[譯者註：此處有脫文]茶有九難：一曰造，二曰別，三曰器，四曰火，五曰水，六曰炙，七曰末，八曰煮，九曰飲。陰採夜焙，非造也。嚼味嗅香，非別也。羶鼎腥甌，非器也。膏薪庖炭，非火也。飛湍壅潦(11)，非水也。非炙也。碧粉縹塵，非末也。操艱攪遽(12)，非煮也。夏興冬廢，非飲也。夫珍鮮馥烈者，其碗數三；次之者，碗數五。若座客數至五，行三碗；至七，行五碗；若六人以下，不約碗數，但闕一人而已，其雋永補所闕人。 [註釋] (1)呿而言：呿，讀音qi,張口。《集韻》：“啟口謂之呿"。這裡指開口會說話的人類。 (2)蠲憂忿：蠲，讀音juan,免除。《史記.太史公自序》：“蠲除肉刑”。 (3)神農氏：傳說中的上古三皇之一，教民稼穡，號神農，後世尊為炎帝。因有後人偽作的《神農本草》等書流傳，其中提到茶，故云“發乎神農氏”。 (4)魯周公：名姬旦，周文王之子，輔佐武王滅商，建西周王朝，“制禮作樂”，後世尊為周公，因封國在魯，又稱魯周公。後人偽託周公作《爾雅》，講到茶。 (5)晏嬰：字仲，春秋之際大政治家，為齊國名相。相傳著有《晏子春秋》，講到他飲茶事。 (6)楊雄、司馬相如：楊雄，見前註。司馬相如（前178--前118），字子柳，蜀郡成都人。西漢著名文學家，著有《子虛賦》、《上林賦》等。 (7)韋曜：字弘嗣，三國時人（220--280），在東吳歷任中書僕射，太傅等要職。 (8)晉有劉琨、張載、遠祖納、謝安、左思之徒＝石，中山魏昌人（今河北無極縣）。曾任西晉平北大將軍等職。張載，字孟陽，安平人（今河北深縣）。文學家，有《張孟陽集》傳世。遠祖納，即陸訥（320？--395），字祖言，吳郡吳人（今江蘇蘇州）。東晉時任吏部尚書等職。陸羽與其同姓，故尊為遠祖。謝安（319--385），字安石，陳國陽夏人（今河南太康縣）。東晉名臣。歷任太保、大都督等職。左思（250？--305？），字太衝，山東臨淄人。著名文學家，代表作有《三都賦》、《詠史》詩等。 (1)歸命侯：即孫皓。東吳亡國之君。公元280年，晉滅東吳，孫皓啣壁投降，封“歸命侯”。 (2)惠帝：晉惠帝司馬衷，公元290--306年在位。 (3)張黃門孟陽：張載字孟陽，但未任過黃門侍郎。任黃門侍郎的是他的弟弟張協。 (4)傅司隸咸：傅咸(239--294)，字長虞，北地泥陽人（今陝西銅川），官至司隸校尉，簡稱司隸。 (5)江洗馬統：江統(?--310)，字應元，陳留縣人（今河南杞縣東）。曾任太子洗馬。 (6)孫參軍楚：孫楚(?--293),字子刑,太原中都人（今山西平遙縣），曾任扶風的參軍。 (7)桓揚州溫：桓溫(312--373),字元子，龍亢人（今安徽懷遠縣西）。曾任揚州牧等職。 (8)沛國夏侯愷：晉書無傳。干寶《搜神記》中提到他。 (9)樂安任育長：任育長，生卒年不詳，樂安人（今山東博興一帶）。名瞻，字育長，曾任天門太守待職。 (10)敦煌單道開：晉時著名道士，敦煌人。《晉書》有傳。 (11)瑯琊王肅：王肅(436--501)字恭懿,瑯琊人（今山東臨沂），北魏著名文士，曾任中書令待職。 (12)新安王子鸞、鸞弟豫章王子尚：劉子鸞、劉子尚，都是南北朝時宋孝武帝的兒子。一封新安王，一封豫章王。但子尚為兄，子鸞為弟。 傅咸《司隸教》曰：“聞南方有蜀嫗作茶粥賣，為廉事打破其器具，後又賣餅於市，而禁茶粥以因蜀嫗何哉？” (65)黔中：唐開元十五道之一。 (66)思州、播州、費州、夷州：思州，又稱寧夷郡。今貴州沿河一帶。播州，又名播川郡，今貴州遵義一帶。費州，又稱涪川郡，今貴州思南、德江一帶。夷州：又名義泉郡，今貴州風岡、綏陽一帶。 (67)江西：江西團練觀察使方鎮的簡稱。觀察使駐地在今江西南昌市。 (68)鄂州、袁州、吉州：鄂州，又稱江夏郡。今湖北武昌、黃石一帶。袁州，又名宜春郡。今江西吉安、寧岡一帶。 (69)嶺南：唐貞觀十道之一。 (70)福州、建州、韶州、象州：福州，又名長樂郡。今福建福州、甫田一帶。建州，又稱建安郡。今福建建陽一帶。韶州，又名始興郡。今廣東韶關、仁化一帶。象州，又稱像山郡。今廣西象州縣一帶。 (71)方山：在福建福州市閩江南岸。九之略其造具，若方春禁火之時(1)，於野寺山園叢手而掇，乃蒸、乃舂，乃復以火乾之，則[上啟夂下木]、撲、焙、貫、棚、穿、育等七事皆廢。其煮器，若松間石上可坐，則具列廢。用槁薪、鼎[钅歷]之屬，則風爐、灰承、炭撾、火[上竹下夾]、交床等廢。若瞰泉臨澗，則水方、滌方、漉水囊廢。若五人以下，茶可末而精者，則羅廢。若援[上艹下三個田字]躋岩(2)，引絙入洞(3)，於山口灸而末之，或紙包、盒貯，則碾、拂末等廢。既瓢、碗、筴、札、熟盂、鹺簋悉以一筥盛之，則都籃廢。但城邑之中，王公之門，二十四器闕一，則茶廢矣。 [註釋] (1)方春禁火之時：禁火，古時民間習俗。即在清明前一二日禁火三天，用冷食，叫“寒食節”。 (2)援藟躋岩：藟，讀音lei，藤蔓。《廣雅》：“藟，藤也”。躋，讀音ji，登、升。《釋文》：“躋，升也。” (3)引絙入洞，絙，讀音geng，繩索。十之圖 (1) 以絹素或四幅、或六幅分佈寫之，陳諸座隅，則茶之源、之具、之造、之器、之煮、之飲、之事、之出、之略，目擊而存(2)，於是《茶經》之始終備焉。 [註釋] (1)十之圖：第十章，掛圖。是指把《茶經》本文寫在素絹上掛起來。《四庫全書提要》說：“其曰圖者，乃謂統上九類寫絹素張之，非有別圖。其類十，其文實九也”。 (2)目擊而存：擊，接觸。此處作看見。俗語有“目擊者”。
