hi guys !! so you don’t understand . . . i’ve been so stoked to join this roleplay ?? i remember seeing this community in the tag prior to the revamp when i didn’t have the time to join, but i do now ! i’m so excited to get started and roleplay with you all ! anyways, i’m jada and this is my muse choi taeho, youngest of the chois & all around baby ! you can find his profile here, bio here, and plots here ! there’s everything you need to know about him under the cut, and just like this post if you’d like to plot !

ok so just as a sidenote i’m keeping his childhood relatively vague so that i can have room to plot w/his sibling james’ mun, to make sure the details correlate & all that !

but anyways he was born in the city, away from yangwon - definitely got the whole spoiled youngest sibling mentality, he’s always loved attention & ngl he was a bit of a crybaby/snitch back in the day so..yikes !! definitely gotten better though.

when middle school rolled around was when he started to get popular, since he’s really sociable he made friends easily & just loves talking !! sometimes too much.

this was also when he realized his dream - to become a school teacher ! he knows he wants to work with little kids, so like prek-1st, but seeing the way his teachers helped him go from a kid who hated schoolwork to one who did really well & loved school really was what inspired that !

then three years ago, just as he was about to reach high school, his parents told him they were packing up their things & moving to yangwon out of nowhere !!

you can imagine he was...pretty devastated. he loved the city and everyone in it, and he thought he was too big for such a small town. he had to pack up & leave everything which, for a teenager, was the end of the world as he knew it lmao !! he was really sad about it & resented his parents knowing there was nothing he could do about it. this is why he was a huge grouch for the first few weeks of living here, it was totally out of character but was his way of acting out in protest

but on the bright side, he thought it could be ok - he lowkey thought everyone would think he was cool bc he was from the city !! but like....sike. he went from pretty popular at his school to this whole town hating his family for reasons he didn’t really understand ??

also didn’t help bc he stood out .... a lot. his hair was dyed blonde, he dressed very city, even back home he was kind of a stand-out lmao. he talked w obvious accent & didn’t know the first thing there was to know about the outdoors. just....a lot !!

but it was once he stayed in town & got to know about everything that things started to add up & make sense - he begun to realize how much the people were affected by jojamart, began getting interested in local activities, & just tried to understand a little better.

after graduating high school he picked up a job at the community center working at the daycare to give him some practice working with kids while he goes to school to be a teacher, especially writing because it’s his passion & all that !!

now he’s just sort of in the middle - a true lawful neutral ! part of him really wants the town to be a little more understanding & not judge his family so heavily, while the other half is bitter towards jojamart for the destruction it’s bringing families.

anyways now some random facts !!

he’s still a little ignorant to some things - he’ll ask some dumb questions, without realizing what he’s really saying. he’s trying hard to be understanding, but sometimes he slips up & can’t ever fully relate to the natives, and he kind of acknowledges that now.

swears he’s not materialistic, but lowkey is ?? like he says he’s simple but all his “casual” clothes are name brand, he walks around nearly everywhere with airpods plugged in his ears, and he breaks the bank buying video games.

oh yeah - he loves video games !! literally will talk your ear off about them, has this really extra office setup w/all these collectibles he’s bought & collected over the years. he streams but like...nobody but a couple of friends watch lmao !!

will cry over babies !! he loves babies & kids & dogs and will go on about how they’re the future of this world so we need to take care of them even though he’s a baby too !!

he is passive most of the time nowadays, but his old stubbornness can definitely kick in over something he really cares about. 

also v affectionate !! he loves people & isn’t scared to show them !!

not active at ALL....like this man will curl into a ball after walking for 10 minutes....

also dear god taeho is CLUMSY....he will literally trip over air !! AIR !!!!

i think you get how equally childish & dumb this man is so !! definitely hit me up for connections !! he’s got a plot page but outside of those i just want a diverse range of positive & negative relationships ! give me enemies, sibling-like relationships, flirtationships, crushes, bffs, coworkers, fellow students....all of it ! i think this has the potential to be really fun so i’m excited to see what we can come up with !

helo budz i’m ayn and this is my cityslicker jaeha! he’s 26, city boi, and brand spankin new to yangwon. currently filling in as a veterinarian until he finds a long-term replacement! :’) he’s a pretty chill dude, just rly shy so like. u know. is he against making friends? not really. would he rather befriend the stray dog that keeps trying to steal his zucchini? yea. TL;DR (but not rly bc i ramble lol)

born and raised in the big city! only kid, grew up pretty well-off. his grandparents moved to yangwon when he was a lil baby and lived the rest of their lives out there until passing. he’s visited yangwon a few times (every week every summer through middle school! and then every now and then for a day—sometimes less haha—high school onward) so he’s not Brand New but it sure feels like it :’)

he’s a...... veterinarian. just like his grandpa! finished his post-vet school internship a few months back and he was abt to sign a contract to work in seoul when his grandparents passed. 

originally he just came to yangwon to help tidy up his grandparents’ affairs but ended up committing to filling in as the veterinarian for a year max until a “more suitable replacement” could be found for his grandpa. 

so now he’s living here. in his grandparents’ old house on mugunghwa (neighbors where u at). hasn’t unpacked completely and probably never will bc at this point (he's only been in yangwon since september!) he’s still pretty set on going back to seoul asap. 

still he kind of ! likes it in yangwon ! even tho he won’t admit it! 

generally he’s a pretty polite, even-tempered dude. comes across as a little cold and stilted @ first bc he’s reallllylyyly really shy and it kind of manifests as stiffness instead lmao. that being said, he’s not too great at pretenses and when he smiles/laughs, he rly means it!!! so !!!!! pls dont give up on him he needs friends lmao 

seems kinda like a pushover but he’s pretty str8forward about things he does/doesn’t want to do. like for example when ppl try 2 flirt with him he’s like Im not interested [and then after a pause] but thank u!

internalizes everything bc he’s a grownass man who never learned how to cope w/ his emotions

probably cried watching old yeller but did u not? u heartless b*tch?

some random facts and tidbits: spends way too much time watching reality television (think trashy shows like love island) but is way 2 ashamed so it’s like a dirty secret and he’ll die if anyone finds out. has terrible vision but he’s wearing contacts these days and they’re so gd THICK sometimes his eyes start watering and it looks like he’s just having a bad day and crying it out. he’s super duper fond of kids and animals. likes 2 garden (he’s maintaining his grandma’s garden atm). uhhhhhHhhH he was engaged to a long-time gf but she broke it off maybe one? almost two years ago and he’s #okcool abt it (but not rly, genuinely he’s very exasperated w/ the idea of romance rn). has the tastes of an old lady (his fave snack is yanggeng). and.

WANTED CONNECTIONS

people he met when he was way younger and visited yangwon! chances are he won’t recognize u and u won’t recognize him but maybe once u get to talking some gears will shift and something will click! even if it’s been a longass time since he was last in yangwon, he’s pretty desperate for any semblance of familiarity he can anchor himself to ha ha ha

have a pet? or just a ton of animals? as long as they’re not seriously injured/in need of surgery or specialized attention (in which case he’ll reroute the case to haesan, but dw! he’ll make sure the transition goes smoothly!), he’s ur dude :’) 

he’s watching this show called heart signal (it’s a reality show abt finding love) RELIGIOUSLY and u catch him and he’s humiliated but maybe ur a big fan and now u guys have viewing sessions and it’s honestly embarrassing at first but now he’s just glad he has someone to talk to about it

ur mom/dad is seriously concerned that a single dude like jaeha is living on his lonesome in a house built 4 a FAMILY and keeps sending u to check up on him with banchan in tow. it’s really fucking awkward at first! but maybe a rapport develops somewhere along the way ...! 

u think he wants to be friends with u but in reality he just thinks ur kid/dog/cat/literally anything that isn’t an adult human is cute

catch him tearing up in the middle of a conversation bc of his contacts and ur like holy fuck i just made this newcomer CRY and jump to conclusions before jaeha can explain (haha no it’s just my eyes- wait- why are u apologizi- uh-) and now ur dragging him around and going out of ur way to be nice to him in penance and he’s just standing there awkwardly like I’m Never Wearing Contacts Again

     *     hewwo so late but just finished an exam and this intro will reflect the exhaustion i currently feel so please excuse me but yw’s open ! ! 🥳🥳🥳 will list a couple points down below and some plot ideas until i can get a proper page up but here’s his profile for some stats and that’s about all i got. please feel free to like this if you’d like for me to roll into ur ims or please. also feel free to just roll into mine, i also have discord if that’s easier, just lmkk. but anyways this is kim yunho, km2 canon, a bro that pretends he has a personality. 

kim family, influential, involved in local politics and yunho doesn’t get the hype?? but it instills the belief in him he’s always got to be the polished, good-mannered son bc he is a reflection of his family and doesn’t wanna let them down................. or so he says

indecisive as shit, grows up doing a multitude of things in hopes of finding a definitive passion, is a quick study so its easy to go thru the motions w different hobbies or interests but boredom is like a disease that never stops giving . 

one hobby that happens to stick the handcrafted violin his grandfather gives him and he accepts it with an :o *insert sparkles all around his face* expression bc this feels like trust . this feels like a sign .

breaks said thing but initially in fear and desire to make reparations to grandfather (and himself) begins to look into violin-making and the craft of lutherie and there begins his first long-term interest, something he still does in spare time to calm himself when feelings n existence is too much

is a bit of a (used lightly) delinquent growing up, but nothing serious . more like following rules??? when u can ignore responsibilities and explore as a child???? its all done in the name of boredom!!!!!!! and privilege can make one very. haughty

but is a good boy, as seen thru his innocent features that old ppl just luv ok, overall despite dramatic tendencies when things don’t go his way, excessive pouting, silent treatment, brief phases of anger that don’t last long and are quick to exhaust him and have him wondering what was the point of feeling that much

leaves for university, forced to take something not. crafts related basically bc his parents dont trust him NOT to get bored and stress the vital importance in finishing THIS degree (major in business administration, minor in political science) before he can do much else, hoping it’ll make him settle down and stop chasing wanderlust 

makes it three years in, loses grandfather mid-way thru but pushes it all down, after the third comes the loss of a friend that he will basically never talk about now (tho people probably know ig?? considering. small town and his family at the very least were told), leading to him citing life is short and drops out to go on a backpacking trip thru europe like he thinks rich kids do and then stays with a couple friends in the states and basically . months pass and what was supposed to be his final year comes and passes before he finally promises parents to come home. its all very controversial

he is a disappointment and he knows it (so he says and thinks quite bitterly)

now works as desk clerk @ hot springs to get away from being at home at the time,  does not talk much about his time away, is a little more detached in hopes it’ll keep people from talking to him / about him when he’s still around . knows rumours probably fly around about the potential he had and the lack of results but . he pretends he simply does not care

alternatively he sprints in the opposite direction every time he sees u and u dont know if he hates u for some reason or if hes full of himself or if u smell (cue edward cullen montage here) but god forbid........ its a cr*sh?

howdy folks! this is overdue and not very well organized because i was woefully unprepared for opening so please bear with me! you can call me nat (she/her). this isn’t my first time at yangwon but this is a new muse - call him taewoong or woong if you’re close to him. he’s twenty five, a riding instructor at sweetgrass stables, and the p1 canon! i have a profile and a bio page up for him if you want to know more, but no plots as of yet (i’m working on it!). i’ll drop some quick info under the cut, but please like this post if you want to plot and i will hop on over into your ims (‘∀’●)

ABOUT:

like i mentioned, part of the park family - they own and operate sweetgrass stables so it should be fairly obvious that horses are a big part of his life

grew up in yangwon, caused havoc with his friends (jk, but he wasn’t the best behaved kid growing up. boys will be rowdy and all that). generally got away with a lot of shit because (1) he’s a park and (2) by sixteen he was a kind of a local celebrity

o yeah that’s right, has been riding since he was a kid, trained to be a horse jockey, participated in his first race at fifteen and never looked back. wracked up a bunch of wins and public recognition for the town which is why a lot of the locals had soft spots for him regardless of whether he deserved it or not

attended baeksu after graduating from high school but took longer than the standard year to finish his race horse groom training certificate mostly because he’d frequently miss class for training and races! also his grades sucked

people think he went ~*bad*~ in the city because he met a girl there and got her pregnant. then (and this is the BIG SCANDAL) he and the girl decided not to get married because they didn’t like each other that much. also he was super young and didn’t want to be tied down at the time

his parents were super pissed and like, generally tried not to let the whole fiasco reach town but it did. so... his daughter is an open secret around town though stories surrounding this whole situation vary

(also basically people are like how did a good boy go so wrong... he was one of yangwon’s eligible bachelors... why this)

anyways, juggled his career and infrequent visits to see his daughter as best he could but was still kind of flighty and irresponsible and drunk on his own importance? spent little time in yangwon because he was always travelling

reality check came in the form of his beloved equine companion passing away x actually the full story is really traumatic and he refuses to talk about it but if you google his final race you will see... retired from the sport after that and moved to yangwon full time to help out at the stables

decided he wanted to like, grow up and be more responsible and what not so he agreed to take care of his daughter while her mother went back to finish her degree at a university in seoul

his daughter is super cute btw her name is boram, she’s five, and she started kindergarten this year. she’s a little bit on the quiet side because she still isn’t used to yangwon and her new family but she’s really sweet and once she’s comfortable around you she can get really sassy. she loves horses like her dad... 

tl;dr weird horse boy became good at racing and thought he was the shit, got a girl knocked up but didn’t wise up, now he wants to be a good responsible dad

neighbourhood grandmas and aunties are into that, and now they’re like hmmm maybe we need to... play matchmaker! let’s find him a wife (meanwhile he’s screaming inside)

PERSONALITY:

he’s generally like, a pretty nice and laid back person, doesn’t get riled up or bothered easily unless boram is involved somehow. he can be really protective over her but he’s chill otherwise. he’s open-minded, not adverse to newcomers. in fact, he’s happy to show people around yangwon and takes pride in the town. also genuine, sincere, sucks at lying like he gives himself away immediately

trying his best to be more responsible but still has this streak of like, childishness in him that rears its ugly head sometimes. also stubborn and hates asking for help so sometimes he creates more headaches for himself that necessary but he’s very much a ‘it’s my mess, i will fix it’ kind of person

fun loving, excitable, impressionable - a little less so thanks to boram’s influence (he’s struggling to be a good role model) but sometimes he just stares mournfully at his old friends when they’re hitting up the bar like take me with you...

LOVES the outdoors, loves staying active, hates being stuck inside doing nothing because it kills his vibes... trying to instill the same kind of drive in boram and she humors him most of the times but sometimes a girl just wants to stay in and play with her dolls, you know? 

avoids conflict like the plague, will literally ghost you irl rather than get into an argument. also kind of bad at talking about his feelings as a result like emotional communication is not his strong suit. also despite the fact that he is competitive as shit, he can be pretty passive when it comes to like, fighting with someone... will accept blame, try not to fight it, yeah he sucks x

he’s trying to be a good boy brent and some days he almost succeeds... jk despite his scandal(s) a lot of people around the neighbourhood actually love him because he’s low key charming and winsome and they can see he’s turning his life around. but how long will this last... (dun dun dun)

song jiae, 27, currently a stay at home mom.  formerly part of the town, left for university, and came back in march of 2019.

well known for being a sweetheart and always helpful to anyone who needed it in the town as she was growing up.  basically, she was pretty dependable

lost her parents when she was fourteen, so her elder brother became her guardian ( he was 26 at the time ).  he was living away from the town at the time so he came back and brought his wife with him, who wasn’t happy about having to take care of a fourteen year old AND live in a small country town

the last gift her mother gave her before she died was a music box, and jiae treasures it.  now she collects them, so that’s why her favoured item is a music box

honestly? her older brother dotes on her.  he’s super attached

left for university to pursue a degree in the arts so that she could start illustrating things like books, or paint, etc.

school was tough on her though, and left her a bit jaded about it.  she never felt good enough, and eventually started to grow to dislike her work in general

uni wasn’t all downs though.  she met a boy that she fell in love with because she’s a soft baby who falls in love way too easy !!! city boys suck tho

ended up getting pregnant and when she told him about it, he dipped.  flat out just left her because men are trash !

so she was dealing with a broken heart, pregnancy, and a major that she was growing to hate all by herself.  jiae was really scared to call and tell her brother about it, but eventually she needed to.  she was afraid he’d be disappointed, but all he did was tell her to come back home.  it didn’t help that minhyuk came flying to her and told her to tell everyone that the baby was his to save her from the town gossips 

she wasn’t sure about it but eventually agreed ...

in the time that she was away, her brother had split from his wife and bought a new house in the town.  for a time she lived with him, up until she had the baby

when she had baby nabi in april ( !!! ), she moved in with minhyuk a few weeks after both to give her brother some space and also, because he put his name on the birth certificate as nabi’s father ... so now she really has to keep up the image that they’re going to be a family even if it makes her super uncomfortable

she feels like she’s trapping minhyuk but every time she brings it up he gets mad at her about it.  doesn’t help that she’s super timid so this kind of stresses her out and makes her distant ... 

all in all though, she’s pretty happy.  she’s taking care of nabi well, and as much as she’s nervous about the situation with minhyuk, she .. kind of .. wants him to be nabi’s dad even if she’s afraid he felt obligated to take that step

but! who knows what the future will bring.  she’s hoping to maybe fall in love with art again now that nabi is finally settling down and getting used to the world, but again! who knows!

small plots !

rumours are bubbling up because this is a small town and jiae came back pregnant and unwed …… even stranger that it’s the assistant mayor that apparently fathered the babe? she hears them and smiles about it but you know she’s inwardly super upset so it’s either time to spread them yourself OR make her feel better

someone she’d always write to while she was away in uni that she misses.  could be that they’re a little sad that jiae didn’t tell them she was pregnant in their letters and now doesn’t know how to react to her now that she DOES have a baby

someone who remembers the amazing paintings she used to do back when she was younger and misses them ... and doesn’t know why she won’t pick up a brush

or you know, someone who was jealous of her artistic talents idk !

* ok so first of all, he works at jojamart. he’s a clerk there & his dad is the store manager. this is the reason why he’s something of a town enemy; three years in, there’s still a lot of ?? disagreement ?? regarding jojamart, clearly, and even though it’s not his family’s fault, it seems like people are hellbent on hating them, anyway.

* but to be fair, he probably dislikes this town and most of the people in it just as much as they dislike him. he was born and raised in santa cruz, california, so when his family moved to yangwon for jojamart, james was like...... bro, are you fucking kidding me? we moved to this FARM TOWN FOR THIS ONE STORE???? I WILL SCREAM!!!! was very peeved when he couldn’t find a starbucks.

* his parents are both from south korea, so he wasn’t ignorant to the culture or language. he could communicate efficiently & knew most of the behavioral expectations. granted, he didn’t know everything, so he probably offended a ton of older folks and even younger ones who are set in traditional ways when he was new here.

* he’s athletic. he played baseball & football for pretty much all of his life, only giving it a rest when he graduated from high school. he stays fit & could probably hurt a small adult into outer space. (probably not, actually, but he does always seem to hit people on the back just a little too hard when he’s greeting them.)

born and raised in yangwon! more specifically, her family’s ranch, the shellside ranch.

the ranch was first settled by her grandfather, and has since grown from there.

they sell a variety of dairies, mostly known for their cheese.

she’s the oldest child of her parents, having two younger siblings.

she was known around as a very adventurous and clumsy girl, literally always just running around.

she started working as a delivery girl for her parents as soon as she could. went out with her bike just zoom zoom. as her clumsy self, this meant a lot of falling and bruises (but the cheese was fine).

is in charge of greeting newcomers with a freshly made cheese.

has since grown a bit, and tries to act more mature even if it’s a hard feat for youngae. people still carry the clumsy young girl image in their head when they think of her, though. to break that out of their head will take some effort and patience is what she lacks.

very impulsive. does first, thinks after. obivously means she caused a lot of mindless trouble before.

even if her family isn’t the oldest around, she’s very much in love with yangwon and all of its traditions. harvest goddess, her one true queen.

- yeo haneul , 24 , photographer & morning mail carrier ! - a real life genius , but shh you’re not suppose to know - he introduces himself to everyone as han , no last name - or anything . no one’s questioned it yet - was pretty much trapped as a lab researcher a majority of his life , so he’s trying to have the good time he never had here in yangwon - you’ve probably seen him skating around town everyday . where is he going ? ( even he doesn’t know ) - it’s not that he’s shy or anything , he just doesn’t have that much experience  interacting with people 1. that don’t have a doctorate 2. for more than a few exchanges , so , yeah he’s not the best at it , but somehow , it’s kind of charming - lives in the “ shabbier ” part of town , but it doesn’t really bother him - always has his camera on hand , and has a habit of taking pictures of people on the streets without their knowledge and / or consent ( sorry ! ) - an early riser ; he’s up at dawn everyday watching the sunrise , then heads off to deliver the mail . he always makes sure to greet everyone awake with a smile . the old ladies down the street have taken a liking to him ‘cause of that and they started giving him stickers !

     nam  joonhyung,  better  known  as  joonie,  is  a  twenty  one  year  old  cismale  that  uses  he/him  pronouns.  he  was  born  december  12th  of  1998  and  currently  resides  at  house  112  in  namjeon  village.  he  works  as  a  cashier  at  the  bakery  in  yangwon  in  order  to  put  himself  through  college,  where  he  majors  in  computer  animation.  if  you  give  him  some  fancy  art  supplies,  you’re  sure  to  get  on  his  good  side  !

DIVING DEEPER

     joonhyung’s  family  has  hated  yangwon  for  generations  and  generations.  even  though  the  nam’s  aren’t  even  sure  why  the  hate  began  anymore,  they’ve  continued  it  and  passed  it  on  to  their  children  regardless. one  of  the  first  lessons  joonhyung  learned,  along  with  his  twin,  was  to  be  prideful  of  his  heritage  and  home,  and  be  spiteful  towards  yangwon.  even  though  he  had  no  particular  reason  to  dislike  the  neighboring  town,  his  twin  took  to  hating  it  so  much,  along  with  the  rest  of  his  family,  that  he  felt  opposing  yangwon  was  his  only  option  —  even  if  he  didn’t  actually  have  any  issues  with  the  place.

     joonie  had  always  liked  causing  trouble,  starting  shit  and  wreaking  havoc.  the  boy  thrived  off  chaos  &  whether  it  was  in  yangwon,  at  school  or  even  at  home,  he  enjoyed  being  a  pest.  despite  harboring  no  real  hate  towards  yangwon,  it  often  made  his  family  proud  when  he  &  his  twin  caused  a  ruckus  there  so  he  took  to  starting  trouble  and  breaking  the  law  in  that  town  especially. because  of  this,  the  nam  twins  are  regarded  as  troublemakers  in  yangwon  and  not  much  else.  joonie  has  never  cared  much  about  his  reputation,  so  it  doesn’t  bother  him  that  people  in  yangwon  glower  when  they  see  him  in  passing.

     though  the  nam  twins  are  typically  disliked  in  yangwon,  in  namjeon  it’s  a  different  story.  his  family  has  lived  in  the  village  for  quite  some  time  and  they  are  highly  regarded  there.  though  he  has  a  tendency  to  be  quite…  mischievous,  to  say  the  least,  all  the  grannies  of  namjeon  pinch  his  cheeks  and  look  at  him  with  pride  anyways.  he  knows  he  hasn’t  done  anything  to  make  these  people  like  him  aside  from  being  born  a  nam,  but  occasionally  he  quite  likes  the  praise  those  around  namjeon  give  him.  it’s  most  likely  one  of  the  biggest  attributes  to  his  slightly  arrogant  demeanor.

     aside  from  being  the  younger  nam  twin,  one  of  the  pair  of  troublemakers  who  are  known  for  their  distaste  for  yangwon  and  the  chaos  they  create,  joonie  has  his  own  passion  and  desires.  as  much  as  they  boy  loves  to  commit  small  acts  of  arson  and  spray  paint  on  the  side  of  buildings,  he  loves  to  draw  even  more.  he  isn’t  quite  sure  when  he  began  to  draw,  but  it  had  always  calmed  the  storm  that  endlessly  brewed  inside  of  him.  he  didn’t  just  love  it,  he  was  good  at  it  too,  and  eventually  he  decided  it  was  what  he  wanted  to  do  for  the  rest  of  his  life.  whether  it  be  on  paper  or  on  his  tablet,  nothing  in  the  world  truly  makes  him  as  happy  as  drawing. 

     though  his  family  has  never  seemed  to  care  much  about  his  dreams  of  becoming  an  animator,  his  dreams  of  people  all  over  the  world  seeing  his  drawings  on  their  televisions  screens,  he’s  pursued  it  anyways.  joonie  has  lived  his  whole  life  trying  to  make  his  family  happy.  hating  yangwon,  following  his  twin’s  lead,  asking  no  questions  —  but  this,  this  was  one  thing  he  wouldn’t  give  up.  even  if  everyone  in  yangwon  and  namjeon  and  all  the  surrounding  areas  would  always  see  him  as  one  of  the  nam  boys,  he’d  never  give  up  one  being  seen  as  just  simply  joonie. 

     currently,  aside  from  being  a  troublemaker  around  all  towns,  he  works  at  the  bakery  in  yangwon  in  order  to  put  himself  through  college.  his  family  snarled  their  nose  when  learning  he  would  work  in  that  town,  but  the  pay  was  good  and  even  if  he  got  glares  from  every  other  customer,  it  was  worth  it  to�� use  the  college’s  fancy  animation  programs.  joonie  loves  his  family,  has  followed  in  their  footsteps  in  so  much,  but  while  they  continue  to  push  the  twins  to  follow  in  their  father’s  footsteps,  joonie  dreams  of  leaving  town  and  making  a  name  for  himself.  one  he  doesn’t  have  to  share  with  his  twin. 

     personality  wise,  he  can  seem  like  an  annoying  pest  who  doesn’t  worry  about  much  else  than  having  a  good  time  no  matter  the  cost,  and  can  be  a  bit  of  a  petty  criminal.  despite  this,  he’s  actually  very  caring.  he  may  love  chaos,  but  he  doesn’t  wish  harm  on  anyone  and  actually  quite  dislikes  to  see  other’s  hurting.  underneath  the  legend  of  the  nam  twins,  underneath  of  what  people  think  they  know,  he’s  got  a  good  heart  and  dreams  just  like  everyone  else  around.  he  hopes  one  day  he  can  be  himself  and  make  all  those  who  know  him  proud  by  doing  so.

─ was born to scientist parents and a younger brother ( @yweunki​ ) , is a part of a family that lived in yangwon for generations .

─ lived in jangmi street throughout his childhood and teens , had been the only child of the family for seven years until his younger brother was born .

─ due to the age gap and lovely personality of his brother , it did not take him an effort to love his brother . two of them grew up to be rather close even if their personalities showed clear differences .

─ despite having the genes of scientists , joongki never really liked studying and never had been a student above average . he barely managed to pass some of his lectures and saw nothing wrong with it until his brother started to attend the school as well .

─ at first , nothing seemed different , it was natural for his brother to return home with a great term reports and earn a pat on his head as their parents mentioned how proud they were of him . joongki was proud of him as well but as time passed , another feeling began to grow in him ; envy .

─ it was selfish and shameful of him to envy his brother but growing up , joongki failed to shrug of that emotion . such that , he began to study as well but never became better than his brother , which eventually led them to have a big fight before his brother started his summer break and returned home with best of grades and term reports .

─ angry at himself , joongki only managed to utter an apology before things began to become awkward between them . through summer break , joongki literally locked himself in his room to study and his hard work brought results the following term .

─ as his studies became better , he managed to fix his relationship with his brother but they never managed to become how they used to be .

─ by the time he entered university , his parents decided to move to daejeon as they received a better-paying research offer position there . joongki agreed to move out of the town without an argument . however , instead of living with his parents , a year after moving to daejeon , he flew to paris , where he completed his bachelor and the advanced degree .

─ he did not bid a proper goodbye to his parents , only left a note to his brother to inform him how he would support every decision of the younger one and will return as a better older brother to him . he rarely called his parents ever since and instead , focused on his studies to become a neurosurgeon .

─ upon starting his neurosurgical residency program , joongki returned daejeon , only to learn his brother already moved back to yangwon . eager to see his brother and fix their relationship , joongki called an old professor of him and managed to find himself a short time job in yangwon's medical clinic .
