[TL] Keito Lecture/Chapter 6

Season: Summer

Location: Campsite Riverbed

Yuzuru: …I’ve found Hiiro-sama. He’s over there.

Aira: Really!? Just as you’d expect, Fushimi-senpai has—

–Ehh~!? He’s up to his waist in water!

Oii~, Hiro-kuuun! Come back! It’s dark, you’re not going to find them!

It’s dangerous! Hiro-kuuun!

Hiiro: ...

Aira: He’s ignoring me… Can you hear me? Hello, Hiro-kun!

Hiiro: ...

Yuzuru: (...I don’t think he’s ignoring him, rather, the noise of his surroundings means he can’t hear us.)

(As Shiratori-sama quite rightly said, the river is dangerous at night. Based on my prior research, the water can reach three metres in depth.)

Yuzuru: Hiiro-sama. You can continue your conversation later, but please change into some dry clothes. I’m worried about your body temperature dropping.

Hiiro: Umu, I understand.

Time: 5 minutes later

Hiiro: I’m back. Don’t you think it’s weird that I’m the only one in regular clothes?

Yuzuru: We can hang up your practice clothes afterwards. They will be dry by morning.

Hiiro-sama, please come here. Allow me to dry your hair.

I was thinking that you can only enjoy scenery like this when your outside, camping, so I had to find them.

That’s why I did it. I’m really sorry for making you worry.

Yuzuru: …When Keito-sama lost his glasses, it is not as if he was looking down, and not enjoying the night sky.

It was dangerous, and something I cannot praise. However, this time, your quick thinking saved us.

It is not a decision you should make lightly, and you acted rashfully. Though for that reason, you fixed it…

Hiiro: …I’m immature, and I’ll create many problems. But, I hope you all continue to get along with me as a part of Keito Lecture.

Idols, the city, everyone, the entire world even— There’s still so much I don’t know yet.

Yuzuru: I will gladly continue to be with you. It seems Keito-sama shares the same sentiment.

Keito: Unfortunately, there are many people around me who are a handful. It does not affect me if there’s one more.

Though, it won’t always be possible because we are in different units as well as different offices. As long as you don’t create any extra noise, I suppose we can continue to be friends.

Hiiro: Umu! Thank you for hearing me out.

Aira: And the conversation’s over like that…? Hasumi-senpai, can we play with these?

Keito: Are those sparklers? You actually brought some?

Aira: Yup. They say summer’s all about fireworks, so I thought it would be good if everyone could have a go…♪

Mika: You got all sorts here. What’s this one?

Hiiro: It looks like a handgun. Do you hold it like this?

Keito: Don’t light it yet? It’ll be difficult to put out a fire, so let’s move closer to the river.

Yuzuru: Quite right. Just to be on the safe side, I will borrow a fire extinguisher from the administration office.
