Fun fact did you know that Magic Kaito 1412 is actually not the only Kaito Kid anime adaptation there is there's another one and the animation is a tad less good but it has an opening that could easily constitute as the gayest thing to ever come out of Kaitos and Shinichis relationship I kid you not the lyrics to that thing it's a straight up love song it is so funny. And yeah Ran is so good she is so so so good she does not get enough appreciation! I love my cringefail sherlock holmes fanatic that can't sing for the life of him and only knows how to solve murder and play the violin and has no social life outside of other detectives and three literal grade schoolers and for some reason death goes wherever he goes and nobody is questioning it (I love making jokes about that Shinichi is just a harbinger of death to me at this point. Kaito has absolutely inhumane luck and Shinichi just shows up and everyone is immediately afraid someone dies in the near vicinity.) Heiji is so fun beause he's the only other person there with some common sense.
