Looks like a throwback to rehearsals for Shtisel Season 3 with Director Alon Zingman and his TV wife, Shira Haas (@shirahaas). According to co-creator Yehonatan Indursky in a Zoom event yesterday, filming for Season 3 wrapped on Monday. The session concluded with a video he put together with pictures and a tiny bit of footage from the new season. There were a few things I hadn't seen yet, but no spoilers 😉. And before you ask: 1. He didn't reveal any storylines for Season 3; 2. He doesn't know an exact release date for Israel or Netflix; and 3. I sent a message to the writer of the piece, Kate Aurthur, to tell her how much I liked it. She kindly wrote back and said she had another piece coming because she couldn't fit in everything about Shtisel and here it is! The article confirms the four year time jump from Season 2 to 3 via Producer Dikla Barkai (@diklabarkai). Dikla also mentions that the series will come to Netflix next year, so that should allay any concerns the wording of the Deadline article may have caused. And SPOILER ALERT (though I don't really think it is one at this point), but Dikla talks about how Ruchami and her HUSBAND Hanina (Yoav Rotman (@yoavrotman1) will have a great storyline in Season 3.
