but I think fem Miguel actually gets feral when she can't hear her darling. She's got very sensible hearing and eyesight because of the spider DNA, so keeping them in sight outside her dark lair is kinda difficult, hearing them is easier. Their footfall is heavier so it makes more noise, especially if they try to run away, a chubby darling takes up more space so any shuffling around is more noticeable. So when fem Miguel suddenly can't sense her darling around is when she gets aggressive, and venomous bites become rough in contrast to the ones given in the bedroom. It doesn't help with the fact that heavier people need more of any substance for it to work effectively, (like medicines and alcohol) so the bite may be deeper or be more than one for the venom to take effect.
