‘22.12.2 矢田山遊びの森、松尾寺にて

この日は午前と午後に同じ病院で診察というダブルヘッダー。午前診の前に少し寄り道して、奈良のくせにやたらと欧州感漂う矢田山遊びの森へ行って少し撮影。診察受けて午後診までの2時間半で今度は日本最古の厄除け霊場、松尾寺へ。そういや去年の秋も来てました。さすがにもう12月、晩秋を感じます。

[25/200] Yamato-Koriyama Castle (2021-03-20) The time is ripe for more Castle visits! With the Seishun 18 ticket in hand, the next area to conquer is the Mie Prefecture. Along the way though, there was still one castle park awaiting my visit here in what was known as the Koriyama Domain. While the usual Somei-yoshino cherry blossoms still needed a few days to fully bloom, the Shidarezakura (weeping cherry) was more than ready to give my photos a vibrant color. The castle park, located directly next to some railways, had an amazing atmosphere. There are even school grounds within the castle walls, which I think is an amazing solution to refurbish these ruins. The highlight of this castle is that you can directly see how stone from the vicinity was used to build up the walls. You can find an upside-down Jizo statue, as well as large gravestone parts in the middle of the wall. I guess sacrifices had to be made. Within the walls also lies the former City Hall and Library of Nara. However, throughout years of decay, they moved the city hall more towards the center of Nara city, and temporarily repurposed the building as a classroom for truant students. ‘21.11.19 松尾寺にて

ここんとこ玉石混合な出来事が続いて、ちょっと気持ちも不安定なので日本最古の厄除け寺へお参り。いい天気で紅葉も見頃。30分程度の滞在でしたが、心が少し穏やかになったような気がしました･･。
