and about the leaks,

i hope hoyo does something about the leakers 😭 just anything, sue them even. idc if most players in the fandom love them, truthfully those leakers are ruining excitement. but this is hoyo, if they genuinely listen to the players' reviews and concerns, then someone probably should wake me up as that means im sleeping too soundly

hoyo does usually impose quite a hefty punishment for the leakers they manage to catch- i’ve heard of a few cases of people being fined a lot of money.

but i agree…

imo since i’m still f2p, the leaks about upcoming characters are useful cause i know who to save for. but when it comes to future storylines and areas? that’s when it’s too far for me because THAT ruins the excitement.

a big example is the recent harbinger trailer; nobody knew it was coming which is why a lot of us (including me) were raving about it! had this been leaked then the hype definitely wouldn’t have been as big. i want this kind of sudden excitement for the storyline and not have it spoiled to me :/

im sorry that i might not really answering your questions about the block thingy, but i've been experiencing the same things too– like i've blocked said person but they still shows up and idk what to do too

what's even more annoying is when i've got tags and posts filtered, yet sometimes it doesn't work at all. those triggering posts and tags still appears as if i didn't filtered them at all. i've reported the issues and it seems like tumblr hasn't done anything yet :(

oh man, i’m sorry that your feature isn’t working properly either, especially the filtering tags bit cause that can be really triggering. what’s the point of having a filter if it won’t work anyway?

as for the block, i think i’ve sorta figured it out. you have to block the person from the blog you don’t want them to interact with. in my case, since my writing blog is a sideblog, the block automatically went to my main which is why they could still access my sideblog. it’s really confusing and it took me a while to get it- and for some reason i can’t get it to work again so i have to try again later.
