New Years Eve charity concert

((Please don’t reblog this. This isn’t an rp thread and it’s going to be very long. This is something I’ve had on my mind for a while now. I hope everyone enjoys it.))

The hour was evening. Snow covered the ground and the sun had already set. The air was cold and one could see their breath if they were out. Stars shined in the night sky and the moon was full.

At an outdoor stage, people were all seated at a special New Years Eve charity concert. It was sponsored by Andy and Isaac Fitzgerald. Andy was a famous photographer and Isaac was one of the top fashion designers in the world. They even had an live orchestra to play the music

On stage was Weiss Schnee, dressed in her signature colors. She was the main performance for the concert and was singing her last song.

Weiss: “~I’m not your pet. Not another thing you own. I was not born guilty of your crimes. Your riches and your influence can’t hold me anymore. I won’t be possessed, burdened by a royal test. I will not surrender. This life is mine!~”

When Weiss was finished the crowd gave their applause. She bowed and trotted off the stage as Andy and Isaac walked on. Since Andy was the one with the mic, he spoke first. “Hello everybody! My name is Andy and this is my brother Isaac.” He put an arm around him. “We want to personally thank everyone for attending this event tonight. We’ve actually been planning this for months. Every performer’s outfit was designed and handmade by Isaac. The camera crew here are all employed by us. We thank them for their hard work and everyone else who made this concert possible.”

Andy grinned. “I want to inform everyone that every Lien that was donated tonight will benefit an organization called “Broken Arrows and Broken Hearts”. They’re a non-profit organization that help Huntsmen and Huntress get back on their feet. It doesn’t matter if they need help financially or mentally. If a Huntsmen and/or Huntress needs any kind of help, this organization comes to their aid.”

In the background, stage hands could be seen setting up tables on the stage and placing large, clear, bowls on them. They began pouring Powdered-Dust in them. Each large bowl had a different color in them.

Andy turned to Isaac. “So, I think everyone would like it if you said a few words.”

He handed the mic to Isaac. The male fashionista stood there for a few moments with a semi poker face. “.......Thank you.”

The photographer laughed. “Bro. This is a super special event and it’s New Years Eve. I think everyone would like it if you were to say more than that.”

“........Thank you very much.”

This earned some laughs from the audience. Andy shrugged. “Meh, close enough.” Just as he was saying that fog could be seen rolling onto the stage. Andy noticed this and glanced over his shoulder. “Oh, well, it seems it’s time for the encore performance.”

Andy smiled and so did Isaac. “As you all know, we have a very special person who’s preforming the encore tonight. She’s a Huntress-in-training and a student at Beacon Academy. She’s not only helped us, but, other people as well and is an amazing person with a heart of pure gold.”

As the fog grew thicker butterflies made out of the Powdered-Dust fluttered out to the audience. They all ranged from different colors.

Andy grinned. “Ladies and Gentlemen, our cousin, Cinnamon Pineforest!”

The two men scurried off the stage. The butterflies fluttered around the audience. After a moment or two a figure could be seen in the fog. Their back was turned. From the shape, the figure was a young woman. She was dressed in white and gold colored clothing and had a gold-leaf crown on. Around her neck was a gold locket. When the music started she began singing.

Cinnamon: “~I know you. You’re a special one.~”

Cinnamon turned around and smiled. Her green eyes sparkling.

Cinnamon:”~Some see crazy where I see love.~”

She began walking to the middle of the stage.

Cinnamon: “~You fall so low but soar so high. Big dreamers shoot for open sky.~”

When she was done with that verse her backup dancers/singers appeared out from the fog to join her. They all wore black and silver clothing and silver-leaf crowns. They were the rest of team RWBY (Ruby) and CIAM (Cinnamon). Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Indigo Slipstream, Amy Nightingale, and Macy Hollyberry. Cin spread her wings (brown and white and 14 ft. long).

Cinnamon: “~So much life in those open eyes. So much depth, you look for the light. But, when your wounds open, you will cry. You’ll cry on and on and you’ll question why. I can see a rainbow in you tears as they fall on down. I can see your soul grow through the pain as they hit the ground. I can see a rainbow in your tears as the sun comes out. As the sun comes out.~”

Cin briefly put a hand up to her chest.

Cinnamon: “~I am here and I see your pain. Through the storm, though the clouds, the rain. I’m telling you, you cannot escape.~”

She smiled.

Cinnamon: “~You can do it, just feel, baby. I can see a rainbow in your tears as they fall on down. I can see your soul grow though the pain as they hit the ground. I can see a rainbow in your tears as the sun comes out. As the sun comes out.~”

Cin flapped her wings a few times.

Cinnamon: “~Here comes the sun, smiling down. Here comes the sun, smiling down. Here comes the sun, smiling down. Smiling down.~”

The young Faunus raised her arms a bit and manipulated the Powdered-Dust out of the bowls.

Cinnamon: “~I can see a rainbow in your tears as they fall on down. I can see your soul grow though the pain as they hit the ground. I can see a rainbow in your tears as the sun comes out. As the sun comes out.~”

She created a giant rainbow over the audience. The entire thing was made out of vivid colors and sparkled.

Cinnamon (Backup dancers/singers): “~I can see a rainbow (Here comes the sun) in your tears as they fall on down. I can see your soul grow (Here comes the sun) through the pain as they hit the ground. I can see a rainbow (Here comes the sun) in your tears as the sun comes out. As the sun comes out.~”

When the music ended the audience gave their applause. The girls lined up and bowed. Cin waved her hands and dissolved the rainbow and butterflies. She returned the Dust back into the bowls and then dug into one of her pockets. The young Faunus pulled out some smoke bombs and threw them onto the ground, engulfing them in smoke. When it cleared the girls were gone.
