Mona’s Motive
Speaking of last Tuesday’s episode 7x15 “In The Eye Abides The Heart” directed by Troian (which i must say was amazing bravo to her!!) there are many things in this episode that are worth discussing..
Since everyone is talking about THAT scene with Wren and “Spencer” and of course Ezra in the airport (which i must say i totally agree that was NOT Spencer) i have decided not to focus on that but on the scene where Hanna introduces Mona to the game.
Tumblr media
One thing that strikes me about that scene is how strange Mona was acting around the game itself. I don’t know if it’s just me who picked up on it but i felt she was putting on an act for Hanna. Also she made a very interesting remark about it..
"Why build a dollhouse when you can turn the entire town into a dollhouse?” I don’t know about you but i could not help but get the vibe that Mona was referring to her own involvement with Charlotte’s dollhouse which would not shock us as there is plenty of clues that Mona was involved, not only in faking her death but in creating the dollhouse itself.
Throwback to this scene with Aria:
Tumblr media
Anyway back to 7x15..
Tumblr media
Overall this season i find Mona is acting unusual..
Mona is clearly acting suspicious in this scene but not in a creepy way it was like she was way too happy to see the game (which rings alarm bells to me) She was basically disappointed she didn’t make it herself.. or did she? The part where she took out her phone to take pictures of it just made me cringe! She was also able to tell Hanna certain information about the game like its batteries would run out when the game ends, which got her all sentimental (weird) and that it was handmade..with love..Not exactly information that could help Hanna to be honest.
Also when Hanna begged Mona to help her beat the game and Mona gave this big “emotional” speech about how they were dealing with an addict (cough herself) and playing with lives (something she’s been doing since the start) She exclaimed that she only reason she wasn’t freaked out by it was because a tiny little Mona wasn’t on it.
Yet it only took for Hanna to convince her that she would beat it, for her to agree to play the game.
Mona will help the girls beat the game in 7x17 “Emily teams up with Mona as she makes inroads in the game”
But in Rosewood not all help is genuine!
Mona has proven that already because she was A before.. and i could write a whole other post about how she is encouraging Hanna’s fashion career with the senator’s daughter or whatever but yet Jenna ends up wearing the same dress..and next week’s promo Mona freaks out as Lucas has sold Hanna’s factory fashion business from under her etc..all obviously planned!
Tumblr media
Mona is one of the characters on the show who you can never tell who’s side she is on..i mean season 5 she basically was anti Ali and co. and made an entire army. What changed? If she was apart of the Dollhouse then, that means everything since is an act and if she was able to pretend before why not now.
I don’t think Mona is A.D or will be our big bad but she is definitely more involved that we think.
It is also interesting to note how the episode is titled “In The Eye Abides The Heart” the same song Mona sang in 3x03 “The Kingdom Of The Blind” while in radley holding THE QUEEN OF HEARTS in her hand.
Tumblr media
Melissa was TQOH on the Halloween Train and i like to think this clue is somehow connected to Melissa being A.D.
Tumblr media
Also it is important to remember Mona was waiting for Melissa to arrive at one of her Mona army meetings back in season 5 which also included Lucas and Paige. How strange was it that this storyline was dropped suddenly?
(btw look at that face even Paige looks scared of her)
Tumblr media
I would also like to add that i believe Mona, Jenna and Sydney were waiting for Melissa in this episode also back in season 5
Tumblr media
Considering we just got a massive clue last week that Sydney is on the A Team you best believe that these bitches are working for A.D too!

Hi! Who are your top A.D. suspects? My top A.D. suspects are Alison, Toby, Ezra, Melissa and Wren. Do you think A.D. could be 2 people? I don't feel like that the Spencer's twin story will happen. What if Alison has been playing games with the Liars all along? Or do you think that when Charlotte was murdered, Alison may have thought that one of her friends killed her? She may also want to torture them due to their behavior with her ever since she came back? BTW, I love your blog.
I agree that the girls mistreated Alison when she came back, but the Alison is A theories have been a reach since before they started.Melissa & Wren are at the top for me. And secretly Barry Maple.

Pretty Little Liars - An in-depth analysis of the Liar’s Lamet
Hi guys! It has honestly been so long since I have posted a new theory on this blog and wow, a lot of things have happened since then. So, in this post, I’m going to be talking about my theories on the “Liar’s Lamet”- the analysis, significance, symbolism and how it helps to find out who is A.D is. This is probably one of my favourite (or my personal favourite) Pretty Little Liars theory I ever had and I honestly love this theory so much! The main reason why this is my favourite theory I made in Pretty Little Liars is because it explains the whole concept of Pretty Little Liars so well and adds the philosophical and complexity elements to the show that we ignore. That being said, Pretty Little Liars has been one of my favourite shows and, like everyone else, I was saddened with the news that it was going to end after 7 years and thus, I wanted to do this theory to justice. So get a snack and relax because it is going to be a long theory!
Tumblr media
As you are probably aware in Season 7B was the premiere of the Liar’s Lamet or “the game board that is fucking amazing”. The game board controls everything and it’s players to do the bidding of the game master. We can obviously tell that the “turns” of each player is not random but thought out by the game master. The game master has spent years into the making of the Liars Lamet and purposefully chose the positions, locations and the automatic player turns. We can call the game-master A.D as we know that A.D built or played a part building the game board and A.D is the first and final, biggest, dangerous A of all time. A.D is controlling the players: Hanna, Aria, Spencer (-and maybe Mona). A.D can help but A.D can destroy as well. You don’t want to mess with A.D. Ever. The main goal of A.D is to find who killed Charlotte and thus using the Liars as pawns to help them find Charlottes killer. By not co-operating, A.D has leverage on the Liars of them killing and burying Archer (and interfering in a police investigation) and even more leverage from Season 1. A.D has always been there but just hiding in the background - the mastermind to the entire A-game.
Tumblr media
According to fellow theorist Spencer 55, she proposed the Liar’s Lamet was first built or developed in 6x19, “Did You Miss Me?”. Excellent detective work, Spencer 55! This could suggest that the whole board game idea was also eventually going to happen however, after the whole fiasco with 6x11, “Of Late I Think of Rosewood,” Charlotte’s death fuelled as a catalyst for A.D’s game to start and thus began with the creation of “Liar’s Lamet.”
Tumblr media
To understand the purpose of this game, we need to define what does “lamet” mean so we have a clear understanding of the word and eventually, the game itself.
Tumblr media
The game title is fitting as A.D designed the game to cause anxiety and mental pain onto the Liars as an act of revenge or grief A.D has had from the Liars in general. In terms of the mechanics of the game, the PLL wiki summarised that Mona determines that the game has technological components but is mechanical all the way through. She also notices that battery has a finite amount power and is not always on in order to save power and that the battery will die when the game is finished. This means that when A.D is revealed then the game is finished for once and for all.
Tumblr media
Because in essence, this whole show is a game. The Liars are puppets being pulled and tortured by the A-Team. And why? Because, the Liars had a talent for treating people like their puppets too. So, is the whole idea of the A-Team is some sick perverted sense of justice? Yes, it actually is. The idea of a game has been exaggerated through various of means just as a dollhouse and now a board game to show the dramatic irony of the show - and reality. We are all part of someone else’s game. And on this show, maybe, tries to highlight the fact that  these Liar’s are living in a computer simulation. And, this the core fundamental of the theory. The Liar’s are living in a computer simulation. That their existence is a program on someone else’s video game. Ever thought for a minute and wonder why most of the A threats are on mobile devices? Because, there are their most vulnerable but most of all, how their whole lives are now dependant on A. Because without “A”, none of this would have happened. Their whole lives wouldn’t be dependant on A as they are now. And thus, the Liar’s Lament is a brilliant demontrastion on this dramatic irony through the show. It’s the same reason why the phone is at the centre of the game board as if their phones were theh eart and the lifeline of the entire game itself.
Tumblr media
And, this is where it’s just getting started. As detectives, we have uncovered the means, motive, mechanics and symbolism of the game. Now, let’s focus on the actual locations on the game - as this is core to A.D’s game plan. Despite, we would never know A.D game plan yet, we can theorize from the locations of the board. Board games usually have a prize when you win and a burden/punishment if you lost. If the successfully Liars complete all of their tasks, it is believed that Uber A will declare endgame and will finally be revealed. If not, A.D will have a brilliant time putting them, their boyfriends and their allies into jail.
Tumblr media
Location #1 - The Hastings/DiLaurentis neighbourhood: At the start of the game, we initially see our Liars and interestingly are dressed the same from “that night”. “That night” also known as where “shit was blown out of proportions.” They are positioned near the Hastings and DiLaurentis house. The significance of this was is because it’s where Alison was buried, Jessica was killed and buried, the “Jenna Thing” and the former residence of Big A. The DiLaurentis mailbox is near and overall we can conclude that this is where the Liars feel secure and safe from the harassment of A. However, this is not always the case. This makes them more vulnerable and let their guard lose and furthermore, make them easy targets for A to attack and strengthen his/her emotional abuse on the Liar’s.
Tumblr media
Location #2 - Radley Sanitarium: Radley. Radley Sanitarium is a mental institution where Mona Vanderwaal was sent, after her reveal as "A". Spencer Hastings was also housed there for a brief time, being placed in the same room as Mona was. This is where Charlotte was first introduced to the “game.” Moreover, we also can see there is a secret passage connecting Radley to the church. The fact that it is highlighted raises some questions. How comes even after 7 years of Pretty Little Liars, everyone failed to mention “oh, btw, there’s a secret passageway.” The fact that it was mentioned was not a random coincidence. It must have served some sort of purpose in the show. My guess that it was the same passageway the both Bethany Young and Charlotte DiLaurentis used to escape Radley on “that night”. Like Charlotte said in her confession, “leaving Radley wasn’t hard.”
Tumblr media
Additionally, Radley was “home” to:
Mary Drake.
Charles DiLaurentis (transitioned to Charlotte.)
Bethany Young.
Mona Vanderwaal.
Spencer Hastings.
Lesli Stone.
Marion Cavanaugh.
“It all seems to lead back to Radley, doesn't it?” -Lieutenant Tanner
Because Mona knows how it feels to become A, she aids the Liars to help them to find out who A.D is. Maybe in the next episodes, Mona will have a “turn” and when she does, she will put her loyalties to the test. The fact that the whole “A idea” started in Radley is the importance of Radley in the game - the idea that no one is ever innocent in Rosewood and how insanity is just the beginning to the end.
Tumblr media
Location #3 - Church: Now obviously, Rosewoods local church must be added to the game board. It is the infamous site where Charlotte DiLaurentis was murdered - in a church, I must add. The Church has also seen it’s fair amount of funerals: Alison’s, Mona’s, Wilden’s, Charlotte etc... But why? Well, Alison’s “death” was the start of the A-Game for the Liars and where all of Rosewood citizens came together to mourn for the loss of their own. It symbolises a community, friendship; a family - something that both Mona and Charlotte desperately longed for and even possibly A.D.
Tumblr media
Location #4 - Lost Woods Resort: If my memory’s correct, the only noteworthy things happened in that motel was that it was Alison's last known place before she disappeared and the first ever A-lair. Now here is where some theorising take place: If A.D was the mastermind of the game, it would mean he/she was already working with Mona all the way back in Season 1 in the old A lair. A.D wasn’t satisfied with Mona’s feeble attempts to punish the liars and so A.D just took a backseat and left the A-Team. During this period, A.D befriended Charlotte and worked together to take down the Liars. Mona never said anything because she never suspected A.D to be the Big Bad. She definitely underestimated A.D. You don’t really think that Charlotte was the sole mastermind of the Dollhouse all by herself right? It didn’t take A.D long enough to realise that Mona and Charlotte also had a habit of treating people like dolls. Lost Woods Resort is A.D’s literal trip down memory lane.
Tumblr media
Nearby is a huge chunk of area where it says in red, “Beware.” I honestly think was the same area where they Liars killed/buried Archer. The fact that it says beware reminds them of A.D’s leverage on the girls in order to do A.D’s bidding or else.
Tumblr media
Other minor locations:
The Brew.
Rosewood Community Hospital. (this also links quite nicely to my Wren is A.D Theory and explains any suspicious A- Activity that happens in the hospital.)
Rosewood High School (where the Liars all met each other and formed connections and rivalries.)
Rosewood Police Department. (”police”. Although, I must applaud the efforts from the Season 7 police staff.)
Jail.
Shady Pines Cemetery
House of Hastings
A secret Passageway from Radley to the Church and another one from Radley to the police station. (My guess is that someone from Rosewood P.D works with A.D or has been part of the A-Team. A nice example is Wilden who may have used this passage to check up on Charlotte. After all, Wilden was a “crooked cop” and Charlotte knew he covered up for her on “that night” when she hit Alison with a rock. Other possible examples could be Garret or even Toby at one point.)
A mystery location. (Maybe the Dollhouse? But, there are some reasons to doubt this. First of all, I think people would know if there was a Dollhouse being built next to the school. I mean, thousands of people walk past the school everyday. Someone would have noticed, at least.)
While doing tasks set by A.D, they also get a prize after each completed task in the form of a puzzle piece (how exciting.) When completed, it would help them to find out some critical information - maybe about A.D or about Charlotte’s killer.
Tumblr media
As Spencer deduced, it is probably going to be a map of something. Maybe someone’s house? A.D house? The fact that it's at the centre of the game board suggest that this person was at the centre of everything and A.D was always there in Rosewood but we were just too blind to see it. Anyways, here’s this week weekly update on the puzzle piece and hopefully we are closer to the truth. The picture is quite hard to tell and to deduce just yet so hopefully in the next episode we can get a better close up view of the puzzle pieces.
Tumblr media
The game was intended to be unequal and unbalanced. Because reality is unequal. To succeed, you need strategy and luck. Probability is key in a board game and right now, A.D is controlling all the odds. This time, A.D is in charge of what happens to people. For A.D to know how to treat people like puppets, the Liars must have took a huge part to teach A.D and other people how to treat people like puppets.
Tumblr media
They are playing their game of life. A deadly and twisted one that makes them reveal their dark sides to each other - turning their backs on their friends and family. A.D has made them less humane and more broken beyond repair than anyone could possibly imagine. A.D wanted justice, and so A.D carries on the game to see them suffer like A.D did. To understand a psychopath, you have to be a psychopath. They are times when the game was about to end but there was always something or someone else. The game was an addiction. Without A.D, the Liars wouldn’t be the Liar’s that we come to know and love. It’s a circle - they need each other. And so far, the ball is in A.D’s court and had and will always be like that until A.D declares “Endgame”. Play on, bitches.

Lucas was so sketchy in yesterday's episode omg. He is definitely working for A.D or he is A.D. I personally don't want him to be A.D but we never know. Thank u btw for responding to questions and all xxxx
Wasn’t he?! I really think I’m sold on him being AD. Obviously my heart is still on Wren and when he comes back I’ll be like “bye Lucas, it’s Wren” but for now, he’s my guy. Thank you for messaging :)

PLL FB commenter claims to know the ending of PLL 7B (referenced in previous ask)
These comments were posted 1 day before 7x14 aired. Use links if you want to see the full discussion. It is a FB comment, so take everything with a grain of salt. I haven’t read through everything. I’ll leave that up to you guys.
Danielle: Alison has a twin that only Jessica and Ken know about. Her name is LAUREN. With the help of Lucas they are A.D. BTW the club use to be called B.A.D. for Bethany Alison DiLaurentis. Lauren and Bethany knew each other and formed B.A.D. remember back in season 1 Toby gave Spencer the message from Jenna. Well when Bethany died it became just A.D. Lauren pretended to be Alison around Bethany. Wren is Bethany's brother but that's all. BTW Jessica is alive. She's pretending to be Mary. Jessica killed Mary and took over her identity. Jessica is helping Lauren. Lucas is helping cause he was in love with Charlotte. They become a couple after she got back from Paris. Pastor Ted killed Charlotte. He is her bio dad. Noel was being blackmailed. Lauren is uber A and your find out why. She is dark and twisted. May 8 at 5:27pm
Danielle: I have my sources 😉 oh and Ali got implanted with Emily's eggs under Archers care. She's Having twins. She gives birth in jail. Aria does go rouge to trap A.D. with the help of Holden. In episode 19 she fakes her death or dies at the hands of Lauren. That's a secret I'm going to keep. But either way Ali gets arrested for the crime. May 8 at 6:00pm
Danielle: Yes [Lauren has shown up before]. She was the one who Charlotte burned as a baby. She was sent to a home for orphans and the blind. Her and Jenna had the eye surgery together. Lauren has scared on her face. You have seen her a few times tho with a mask on. She was the one who brought Cyrus to town and who Spencer saw in Ali's window in the pilot. May 8 at 6:15pm
