“Estate Sale Sign” works for Scott almost strictly because of the line “every martyr in this jungle is gonna get his wish”. I think this card would stand for holding onto a past that you really shouldn’t be holding onto and serve as a warning that by doing so, you could drive yourself to ruin. I deviated from drawing inspiration from the greater arcana of traditional tarot and instead modeled this off of “Four of Swords”.

All Eternals Deck by The Mountain Goats is an album based on a fictional tarot card deck by the same name. Additional information on the deck is found in the liner notes of the album. Seeing as there are thirteen songs on the album and thirteen people who have been on Empires SMP, I thought it would be a fun project to create tarot cards based on S1 and S2 characters. Designs of the cards are inspired by traditional tarot decks, specifically Tarot of a Moon Garden and images from The Pictorial Key to the Tarot by Arthur Edward Waite.
