The Ink Demonth - Day 23 - Lost

Heya! I did this one a while ago and figured that if it’s Abomination’s birthday today, I might as well post it since I’ve been too busy lately to make anything. i go to the festival of lights nearly every time it pops up bc even tho its boring, its pretty x'D

and so sim!moomin and sim!snufkin were trying to cuddle up at the bonfire but this guy was standing like riiiiiiight between them x'D so uncomfortable

love skiing/snowboarding in the sunset. wow

then they had some fun times in the portable shower right there in the snow while still wearing their boots... with eliza pancakes just... staring at them... lol but i mean they are in public...

speaking of public, dumpster woohoo is absolutely my favorite. bahaha the animations are so cute and funny

then we came across this cheerful looking guy whose name, for some reason, is kado akiyama

kado is a japanese name... but, like, a surname. i've never seen it as a given name nor did i find anyone with it when i tried to look it up. it is perfectly possible that someone could have that name, there's a lot of flexibility with names, but it would probably be considered pretty kira kira special lol. then again i used to have a student whose name was tomorou aka tomorrow x'D soooo...

regardless im pretty sure sims just put a regular surname in the given name list :P

also i found this:

and i found similar info on multiple baby names sites xD just goes to show how terribly stupid and unreliable those websites are. even if you were japanese and did want for some reason to name your kid kado, it would not be pronounce "keydow" lol that's not what vowel /a/ indicates

this also means they're going by the kanji 門 which is used in boys' names but generally super traditional ones where it's pronounced mon. and if i heard 'kado' the first thing i would think is 角 which means corner hahaha
