anyways! this is late but here are my thoughts on the last ep of drag race

aja should not have gone home

bottom 2 should have been shangela and kennedy

i actually thought bebes look was cute at first but as i looked at it more and more i was like eh its not that good

top 2 shouldve been trixie and aja

sugar tits is pretty on brand for aja actually, maybe it wouldve been better if she just added like a pic of her face in it or something

the lip sync song choice was clearly rigging for bebe

which is STUPID bc the storyline this ep wouldve made more sense if trixie won the lip sync bc then she could save shangela and it wouldve been like repaying her for the last episode, bebe eliminating aja made no sense and just made bebe look fake, its just like as2 when they missed out on the opportunity for phi phi to eliminate alyssa

i love shangela but how is she STILL bad at sewing lmao

kennedys outfit was so bad and generic like wtf literally NOTHING special about it i have no idea how she escaped the bottom

i wasnt alive in the 70s so idk how on theme ajas was but she still shouldve been safe over kennedy/bendela bc being cute but slightly off theme will always be a million times better than being on theme but boring and generic

if they did a bottom 3 it wouldve been shangela/kennedy/bendela for me

i really REALLY hope trixie chose shangelas lip sync just for drama purposes but i dont think she did

i hope the twist is a triple buyback bc if its just the eliminated queens competing and the winner gets to come back into the comp and eliminate someone from the bottom (just like as2) i will be unimpressed

bendelas talk about her elimination strategy while getting ready was SOOOOO fucking annoying jesus christ i hate her “i wish i could just write down how everyone places each week so i can decide based on mathematics” girl shut the fuck up so annoying

and then her little issue during deliberations too like for real why did she even fucking sign up for this i cannot stand her

this was like the worst ball challenge ever btw i literally didnt like any looks except aja and trixie and even then i wasnt too in love with either of them

soup can thing was stupid it shouldve just been 2 extra looks instead of whatever this was

the judges hatred of young people is so ANNOYING these dinosaurs cannot accept that times are changing like who cares if ajas look wasnt COMPLETELY studio 54 or 70s or whatever (i thought it fit well enough) it was cute like these runway categories arent supposed to be strict i wish they would say like “70s-inspired” instead of just 70s bc if youre too strict you end up w boring ass looks aka bendela and kennedy

the way the judges treated aja made me sooooooo mad like she was trying so hard to stay lighthearted and have humor and laugh at herself but the judges were so pressed

like her mispronunciation thing shouldve just been a cute fun ditzy moment but the judges acted like aja just killed this francis person right in front of them like its not that serious esp when RU cant remember the names of his OWN ru girls

also i hate how they made aja out to be like so stupid and ignorant of her history and stuff meanwhile literally one episode ago she taught an entire generation of young gays about crystal labeija, someone they prob never wouldve heard of otherwise

while i like the halleloo/box stuff i wish shangela would embrace the sugar daddy and youll never be glamour and nancy drew stuff more as part of her brand. she shouldve made sugar daddy soup or something

i honestly thought aja couldve made top 3 tbh, she was robbed a lot this whole season tbh. although i was a little :/ at her letting bebe get away with not crediting her with helping her, like aja shouldve called her out right there on the stage it wouldve been iconic

im still so disappointed we’ve lost chi chi and now aja and we still havent gotten any of the iconic lipsync matchups i was hoping for preseason, shangela vs kennedy is our only chance now but kennedy doesnt seem to be very good at challenges anymore so im not getting my hopes up

rankings as of now: shangela > kennedy > bebe > trixie >>>>> bendela

if we count eliminated queens: shangela > aja > chi chi > milk = kennedy > thorgy > morgan > bebe > trixie >>>>> bendela
