I adore the second spongebob movie and am still in awe of how fantastic it is visually and in terms of story but also mega kudos for it managing to include not just one but two of my weirdly specific irrational childhood fears

#connor talks #one of them was already a spongebob trope and the source of the fear in general #the going into his brain thing that FREAKED me OUT I was sure someone was going to steal my knowledge #BUT the other weird fear I had was that Saturn and Jupiter were going to crash into each other #why? because I’m really dumb and couldn’t visualize how insanely far apart those planets are #and like Jupiter is huge so on all those diagrams of the planets its huge and thus just always looks closer to Saturn #and I remember being taught like if Jupiter was any bigger it could be classified as some sort of like. almost star? I fucking forget but #like the point was it would give off enough light or heat or whatever to mess up our climate? #it probably also didn’t make sense I was seven I have no clue where I picked this up #but I was like no... if it collides with Saturn we’re all doomed!!!!! #for real though this has probably actually made it into my top favorite movies #it’s just really good every day I regret not seeing this in theaters #also every time I get to that scene where they play music from the good the bad and the ugly it invokes an Emotion
