Genuinely think it's so funny how everyone latched onto "Jay is canonically a gay man" when it was "confirmed" thru an ask to JACKIE who didn't write for the original series and also considering it held literally less than no relevance to the series itself. Like fuck man if I wanna say Jay is a she/they faggot I'm going to it literally doesn't matter. It has no plot relevance and the series came out in 2009.
