I’ve been followed by over 5 p/rn bots (there were more which I blocked/reported so they’re not in my notifications anymore) over this past week and almost every day I get a new one

What the frick is happening.

The ones that have been following me lately haven’t been constantly posting p/rn, however their icons and profile banners are always suggestive images and their usernames are usually formatted as random girl’s name - a series of numbers. They always have no posts and their profile description is usually something kind of suspicious regarding wanting a “sugar daddy” or something along those lines.

Is this happening to anyone else? While the accounts aren’t currently posting p/rn, they do have a spambot vibe to them and I definitely think they’re up to something

Also the most recent one who followed me’s username has my irl name in it which surprised me, it was actually really funny. I wasn’t expecting that, haha. The reason why it’s especially surprising is that it’s not like some super popular girl’s name, it’s a German name and I’ve only met about 5 other people who were named that.
