Thinking on the possible differences for the upside down stuff with winged!Eddie like him diving after Steve at water gate would be so much more nerve wracking with it being such the antithesis of what Eddies used to/comfortable with he's meant to be in the air not diving into water after a (pretty) boy to a hell dimension! Another being Eddie going full tilt flight wise for the first time when drawing the demobats from Dustin (and surviving).

But then there's Steve who unknown to the party (and maybe himself) has the inherent gene for wings due to a grandparent/great grandparent who had a winged parent/siblings and it didn't get passed down getting wings due to upside down fuckery but instead of the expected feathers they're bat wings
