Just wrote the outline for my camp nano novel!

#my writing #excited! #while writing I was just like 'omg this is depressing is this too dark?' but it is literally a horror story sooo #I am a bit worried about falling into bury your gays/autistics kinda tropes tho since my main characters are a gay man and an autistic woman #and they both (probably) die (and also worried about falling into some other not exactly stereotypes but common depressing things) #but like I said it's meant to be a horror and these things happen #and ultimately it's meant to be about the potential horror of coming 'home' ie back to your hometown for these groups #so yeah. but we'll see as I write it #I want the ending to have a kind of pan's Labyrinth vibe of maybe it's a kind of (slightly twisted) fairytale ending #or maybe that's just wishful thinking and the real world is a lot more horrifying than fantasy could ever be #who knows if I'll manage any of that (especially in July) but we'll see #anyway I have ideas and I'm excited!
