Pink Jumper |Tatty Devine Necklace  | Milk Tooth LDN Earrings
Well hello there you lovely lot! Today we’re delving straight in with a fashion post, I have so many exciting pieces to share with you that I could actually burst! Let’s get started then shall we? Before that happens and I leave a colourful mess everywhere. I swear my new addiction to Stranger Things (yes, I’m soooo late to the party) is doing something to my brain. First up the teddy coat, man alive have I resisted this trend. I was determined to not join the other 98% of the population that owns one, but here I am, in a teddy coat and absolutely loving it. At first it was rather easy to resist, most of the teddy coats that were sneaking in during Autumn 17 were pretty plain Jane. Although they were very lovely, they weren’t statement enough for me. I mean leopards over bears any day, right? But then a number of months later and just after I had congratulated myself for being original, TopShop go and bring this colour block number out. Fortunately for my ego it was a tad on the pricey side, especially as I had just bought a new faux fur a few week prior. I talked myself out of it and decided that I would visit it whenever I was near a TopShop. Then the TopShop sale happened and the price was too good to be true, and and and and well, just look at it, it’s perfect. I am in love, from the colour block details, to the length and to the fact that someone just asked me if it was Max Mara. Plus all the rumours are true, it is the comfiest coat around! If you’re thinking about joining the teddy brigade, I highly recommend it.
Teddy Coat | Light Up Shoes | Striped Trousers
It has finally happened, my life is complete, I own a pair of light up shoes. All this time I have been so envious of those cool toddlers with their flashing shoes. Well now I’m a cool kid too. Not only do they light up (3 different varieties of lighting upness, FYI), they’re also metallic, which in my humble opinion is the best colour choice for a shoe, oh and they’re by the uber cool Katy Perry Collections. Oh my goodness have you seen her shoe collection? It is epic! I picked these up at Style Set, who are a new site hosting a whole caboodle of fab designers.
I know what you’re thinking, Siobhan do you own anything else that you could put your lower half of your body in? The answer is yes, but they’re not anywhere near as phenom as these striped trousers. So yes sorry for the reappearance, they’re just too good, I had to share them again.
I hold before you another item you’re going to be seeing a lot of, the pink cosy jumper. Yes there is a theme going on here, come on, it is January and the main priority right now is warmth. This jumper is another sale purchase, it was something crazy like £12 which means its cost per wear is currently at 0.01p. Even my accountant can’t argue at that one. January is the best time to pick up bargain knitwear, the shops are getting ready for Spring / Summer, where the UK is getting ready for the big freeze. Ahh Summer, I miss you, please come back.
Can we just take a moment to admire my accessory game here, I don’t want to blow my own trumpet but hello! Of course I have been helped hugely by the likes of Tatty Devine (necklace) and MilkTooth London (earrings). If you want quality statement jewellery, you know where to go. I have been searching for the perfect outfit for this amazing rainbow necklace, I wanted it to take centre stage. It looks so fabulous over knitwear as it adds a bit of interest. The earring are the statement dream, gold plated and curated with artist Maria-Ines Gul, this is my second pair from MilkTooth and you know I’m already eyeing up my third.
Lets end on a high, the glasses, I forgot how much fun it was to wear glasses, I have absolutely no idea why but I had an unintentional break from them. Well they’re back, I am going to add buying more vintage glasses to my things to do in 2018. I’m not quite sure if any can top this pair, they have all the Iris Apfel vibes. I found them in a thrift store in Houston for 10 buck, please reread that bit again with an American accent. I am headed to Houston again this week, where I fully intend to put this glasses plan into action. It would be amazing to hear all about your favourite pieces at the moment, pop me a comment below, I’d love to have a good natter.
I better go and plug in my light up shoes, see you on Wednesday.
BIG LOVE,
Siobhan

Just popping in to tell you that you are gorgeous as fuck
Oh goodness. Hahaha. Wow, thank you so much! I wish that were true in my eyes. I have accepted the fact that other people can somehow think I am attractive, but I just can’t wrap my head around why someone would think that or how someone could think that about me. In my eyes, I am the most hideous, fat person on this planet. I have come to terms with the fact that I am ugly, like I mentioned in my post on that one picture, but I cannot accept the fact that I am ridiculously overweight and fucking obese. I hate myself so damn much because of my weight. I even avoid going out in public because of my weight and how ugly I look and feel. I can fool people with my selfies, though. With the right angle, the right lighting, the right filter, and the right camera. . .I can look pretty attractive. But it’s all an illusion. That’s why selfies are great. They can make your fantasy of being a beautiful, slim, flawless, model-worthy person a reality. But if you met me in real life? You’d run the other direction. Haha. I’m really hard on the eyes. My pictures are eye candy, I will admit, but my real life image? Very hard to look at. I have a very fat, obese, short, stubby, ugly body. . .and my face is too round and chubby and I have no neck or chin to speak of (which I want to get cosmetic surgery for when I can afford it) coz I inherited that from my fucking mother. I have a major, odd overbite on my top row of teeth because instead of sucking my thumb as a little boy, I sucked my two fingers (ring and middle), which caused my teeth to bulge out, one a little more than the other. Hoping to get that fixed with invisalign as soon as I can afford it. I have always had super clear skin, but lately my picking problem has become unbearable and I am ripping the skin off of different places and now I have all these red marks on my face and permanent scarring in some places because of that issue I have. And concealer doesn’t cover it that well no matter how much I put on. And then the pigmentation of my skin is disgusting because I am a pasty, white, lobster-person. My skin turns red at even the slightest bit of heat. And I have a pigmentation issue on my right cheek bone where there is a circle that is always red that concealer won’t cover. My eyes are way way WAY too big for my face (as everyone can probably tell). I’m certain people probably make fun of me for how big my eyes are behind my back. My hair is beautiful in colour, but ugly in style. My nose is huge and always red at the tip because, again, I am a white, pasty, lobster person. (Seriously, why did I have to be born white? UGH) My eyebrows are way way way too thick and they make me look perpetually angry. I have a bad case of resting bitch face and bored-to-tears face even when I’m excited about something. My smile is the most hideous and scary thing you will ever see; especially if it’s a teeth-showing smile. I have a baby face so I get mistaken for a teenager/high schooler quite often which is absolutely insulting. I have even had someone tell me my actual ID was a fake ID because they couldn’t fathom the fact that I was born in ‘92. I constantly have such dark circles under my eyes that it looks like I have two black eyes due to my insomnia and my sleeping pills not working anymore. My chin protrudes and it’s ugly. My lips are fucking HUGE and ugh god they’re disgusting. My teeth are somewhat yellow-ish because of all the tea and coffee I drink and because of the lack of money to go to the dentist (my insurance does not cover dental and never has...white teeth are a product of wealth, not how well you take care of them). My breath always smells horrible because I am anorexic and anorexia makes you have bad breath (still not sure why. I just know it’s the cause.). No matter how much I brush or how many times I rinse with mouth wash or how many mints I pop throughout the day, I’m pretty sure my breath still smells and I don’t know how anyone can stand to be around me. My face is pretty expressionless and I don’t make good expressions which makes me miserable and boring to other people. My laugh is fucking obnoxious because I laugh really loudly and it’s more of a maniacal cackle than anything. . .unless I’m giggling, then I sound like a fucking seal. If I don’t shave between my eyebrows for like 6 months or more, I get a small, practically invisible unibrow which is totally noticeable to me but normally not to other people. My nose is constantly wet and dripping because I have such bad allergies. My eyes are fucking bright blueish-grey, sometimes fully grey, so it’s super easy to tell when I’m on drugs because you can see my pupils turn to pinpoints or, if I’m on something trippy, you can see them dilate like crazy. Which, as someone who does drugs every day of his life, that’s an absolute curse, mate. I have TMJ so my jaw goes click click click every time I open and close it. I have a SUPER TINY mouth and a very thick tongue. Which is an awful combination. I can’t decide whether my forehead is too big or too small. And the creases of my eyes are practically right on top of my eyes because of how huge my eyes are. And glasses are always way too big for my face because I have such a tiny head. My nonexistent neck is super thick and makes me seem like I have a bazillion chins no matter how skinny I get. When I was down in the 90 lb range, the fact that I don’t have a neck/chin really fucking got to me because even at that weight, it still looks like I have a million chins. I can’t escape it without surgery to physically move my throat back where it is for normal people. Which, I’m not even sure if that can be done, but I will pay a plastic surgeon my whole goddamn life savings to fix that for me. I just don’t have the money right now and won’t anytime soon because I’m sure it will cost thousands upon thousands of dollars up-front. Uhhhh.....what else.....well, that’s just my head. From my neck up. You don’t even wanna get me started on my body. I could go on for hours because of how fat I am.
But. . .it’s really, really, REALLY nice to get messages like these. I never know if people are just mocking me and lying to me and laughing at my expense when I respond with gratitude, kinda like a “HAHA He’s so gullible!!!” sorta thing. That’s what I usually suspect is going on when people compliment me like this.
But I’ve been trying REALLY REALLY REALLY hard to just accept the compliments as truth and believe that people are being honest with me and aren’t just making fun of me and being sarcastic. So. . .if you’re serious, which I am going to force myself to assume you are, I really fucking appreciate this. Like....SO much. I have nonexistent self esteem. Like...zero. Maybe even negative numbers for my self esteem. I doubt you will ever encounter a person with lower self esteem than me. So to have people boost my ego with things like this means the world to me. It makes me feel like...maybe...maybe I can go out in public. Because I don’t go out in public because of how ugly and fat I am. I dread going out in public because of that. When I was like 105lbs or less, I was so fucking happy and I felt like I could go out in public whenever I wanted! It was incredible!!! Having thin privilege is.......wow, it’s life changing. I don’t think people with thin privilege even realize how great they have it. Honestly, being skinny would take away my depression, cure my anxiety, and all of my self destructive habits and suicidal ideations would just...fade away! They did when I was 105 and less. So anyone who says that weight does not control your happiness is a fucking liar when it comes to me, myself, and I. Because weight does, indeed, control my happiness, personally. While I’m fat and obese like I have been most of my life, it causes so much depression and anxiety and makes me want to kill myself solely because I am fat. I can deal with being ugly like I am, but I cannot deal with being fat like this. I can’t handle it.
And I can’t exercise at all because it could give me a heart attack and kill me due to my costochondritis. So I can’t even do that to help lose weight. So I’m just.....constantly starving myself and munching on dried mango slices when I’m hungry and drinking lots and lots of water and nothing else. A lot of people say that starving yourself will make you gain weight and it actually does in majority of people, but for some reason. . .starvation works on my body. Starvation is the one thing that will make me lose weight. And it’s really my only option at this point. Yeah, I could go into hypoglycemic shock or a hypoglycemic coma, but that’s a chance I’m willing to take if I could just be skinny.
Like I said. . .I have come to terms with the fact I am ugly. That is never going to change no matter what I do. But my weight? That is something I can change if I keep up the starvation and don’t break. Which, I have gotten very good at over the years since I was a little kid. The drugs help curb my appetite, too. The reason I started doing certain drugs was actually to curb my appetite. Nothing else. I didn’t want them to get high or for fun or anything like that---I just wanted them so I could lose weight. And they sure are helping. I fucking love drugs.
I would do anything to be skinny and have thin privilege. Literally anything. I will die trying if I have to. I would rather die an early death while skinny than live a long life while fat.
Ahhhh, I got so off topic there. I’m sorry. Weight and my appearance has just been prevalent in my mind since I came across those three old pictures I just reblogged from my selfie tag. So I just. . .had to vent and get that out there. I’m so sorry. But venting really helps me. A lot. So. . .saying all that really just helped me calm down and stop crying and beating myself up over all of it. So. . .even if you don’t read all this, if someone does read it, thank you. Thank you for listening.
And, nonny. . .thank you so much for your wonderful compliment. You just made me feel SO damn good about myself. And it really means a lot to me because I have this scratch on the skin above my upper lip on the right side that I have been clawing at for hours now and I have opened up a whole damn hole in my skin and now it’s turned into a massive red spot of ugliness and it’s probably not going to heal for a long time no matter how much of this prescription healing gel I put on it. The gel is like a super version of neosporin. My mom had it when she had her mastectomy for breast cancer. They took fat from her stomach to make her a new breast and she had some crazy, sick scar from that. Huge scar. So they gave her this gel that you put on the incision site to make it heal faster. And it really works. So she gave the remainder of it to me and I’m putting it on that area like every two seconds, but then I get the urge to claw at it and I do and then it just starts bleeding and gets bigger and worse and worse. And I just can’t seem to stop myself. If there is an area of my skin that isn’t perfectly smooth and flat, I will claw at it until it’s bleeding and until I feel that it’s flat or concave that will heal into flatness. Can’t even tell you how many circular shaped scars I have from ripping off little swollen bite areas from insects. Two circular dots are on my face and it makes me feel so fucking ugly. And now I have this huge red mark on my upper lip and it’s killing me to look at myself because I can’t do anything to hide it and I basically never want to go out in public again. . .my picking problem has made me 50x uglier than I already am and it REALLY gets to me. I physically can’t go out in public because of my looks and weight without a fuckton of valium or ativan in me.
So. . .hearing this from a stranger. . .some anonymous. . .it means the world to me. It means that someone, somewhere out there in this world, could walk past me and think “Wow. He’s so handsome.” or something like that. It gives me hope that maybe one day.....ONE DAY......someone might actually think that in real life when I don’t have all the right angles, filters, right lighting, right pose, etc etc etc...If someone were to say this to me in person when I was in my natural environment without all the selfie gimmicks? I think I would legitimately pass out. Haha. I’ve never been the gorgeous one. . .I hate going out with most of my friends sometimes because they are a million, bazillion times hotter than me.
I’m hoping the HRT will change how I look and how my body is. I hope it will slim me down and strengthen my facial structure. The doctor said it probably won’t have any affect on my face, but I have seen FTM and MTF people who have before and after pictures and their faces look super different. So I’m just fucking praying to all the omnipotent, noncorporeal, fate-controlling aliens in the universe that it does exactly that. I would kill to look like anyone other than me.
I have never seen an ugly fat person before. The only ugly fat person I have seen is me. Fat and skinny are both beautiful. And fat is not a derogatory term. People seem to assume that just because I think I’M fat and that makes me ugly, I somehow think that they must be ugly due to their weight, too??? And that just doesn’t make any fucking sense to me when people come to me with the “Well if you xxx pounds and I’m xxx pounds, then what does that make me in your eyes? A fucking obese monster?” LIKE NO, FAM. IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. The only fucking way I think about fat being ugly is on ME. PERSONALLY. I am the only one that my logic about weight applies to. And people just don’t seem to understand that and it pisses me off. I’m anorexic and I have bad body dysmorphia. So, I mean, fucking SUE ME FOR EXPRESSING MY OPINION OF MYSELF AND MYSELF ALONE. Just because I think I’m fat at 128 lbs does not mean I think someone at twice my size or four times my size is ugly due to their weight. I am attracted to all sorts of people. And Callie in Grey’s Anatomy is the exact body type I am attracted to. She’s not conventionally skinny like most people. . .yet, that is the number one body I am attracted to. I’m not usually attracted to skinny people because they make me out-of-my-mind angry and vengeful because I want to BE them and because they usually take their thin privilege for granted or aren’t even aware that they have it and MAN that pisses me off. They usually have no idea how good they have it. Ugh, fuck. I have experienced what it was like to have thin privilege. I was practically fucking worshiped. Even though I lost all my weight for very unhealthy reasons and I was the most unhealthy I had ever been in my life and I was the sickest I’ve ever been physically, everyone would still see me for the first time in a while and be like “OH MY GOD. KILLIAN. LOOK AT HOW SKINNY YOU ARE. CONGRATULATIONS. YOU LOOK GORGEOUS OH MY GOD!!!” and they would just continuously praise me for being skinny. I would get asked out on dates and invited to all these high end exclusive parties simply because I was skinny. And guys and some girls were absolutely all over me. I remember walking into a gas station to ask for direction and there was a line of guys waiting for the cash register and when I walked in, they all turned around and did a double take and literally scanned me up and down with their eyes and they all got this kind of devious smirk and one of them even put his hand around my waist and they were just absolutely marveling at how gorgeous I was. Purely because I was skinny. I could get into clubs and bars so easily when I was skinny. The second I gained the weight back? Everyone that had loved me when I was skinny abandoned me with the absolute weakest excuses. No one paid attention to me anymore. I started getting looks of disgust again. Started getting the stares.......you know the stares, right? The ones that say “Wow, I’m so glad I’m not as fat as him!” Stuff like that. My mistress even gave me a special session when I lost all the weight because she was so proud of me. . .despite the fact I lost in a very unhealthy way and for very bad reasons and despite the fact that I was physically sicker than I had ever been. IT DIDN’T SEEM TO MATTER TO ANYONE HOW SICK I WAS and how unhealthy I was and how I was basically dying from extreme starvation and dehydration. All anyone cared about was that I was skinny and my body looked ideal. So I know what thin privilege feels like. . .it gives you the confidence to leave the house whenever you want to. It gives you an ego boost like no other because clothes actually look GOOD on you. It makes people love you like crazy and lust for you. It helps you get in to basically anywhere you want and it helps you get past so many rules and laws and shit just because you’re skinny. You can fucking get away with anything when you’re skinny. I learned that easily when I was tiny. The second I gained it all back, though? It was like I was barred from everywhere and all of my friends and people who were lusting after me just fucking left.
I mean, yes, I’ve had tons of people tell me I’m attractive. Some irl and most online. I have had people tell me I’m gorgeous and alluring and that my eyes are mesmerizing and that they could gaze into them all day. But it’s always so hard for me to believe. . .because of my weight. Not even because I am ugly. . . but simply because of my obesity.
But I’m trying. I’m really trying. I can’t thank you enough for this message. You just gave me an opportunity to vent and get all my crazy emotions out like I really, really needed to. I was gonna keep it all inside for the night and let it eat me alive and destroy me, but. . .now I feel SO MUCH BETTER after being able to rant like that. You just did more for me than raise my self esteem and give me a little ego boost and make me smile and giggle and make me feel really, REALLY good about myself. . .you just helped me to get through a particularly tough state of mind that would have caused me to pop so many more pills and possibly accidentally overdose. You just seriously saved me by sending me this simple compliment.
I can’t thank you enough. There are no words to express my gratitude to you. You just made my whole night turn from miserable and self-loathing. . .to absolutely wonderful and self-affirming. c: You’re a wonderful human being and I’m so so so glad you took the time to type up this message. I’m sorry I had to vent like that, but I just HAD to get it out. You are the best. Ily. Thank you so so so fucking much. I would kill to hug you tight right now.
Also, I haven’t gotten a compliment on my looks on tumblr in a good while now, so this was very refreshing. I used to get compliments on my looks all the time. . .now I barely get any. So this was a nice change of pace. c: Thank you, again. I wish I had the words to express my gratitude, but no words would be able to formulate how extremely thankful I am to you.

"Four targets. It's definitely doable." Alexei's fingers brushed against the four pictures that were paper clipped to the thick files. "Now, these three will be no problem. They aren't too high up, so they won't have too much security around them. However, this one is going to cause me some trouble."
Konstantin looked over Alexei's outstretched hand to get a look at the target he was talking about. "Ah, yes, Nathaniel Harlow. CEO of a huge record label in the West.”
Olev flipped open a file and slid it over to the pair. “He was supposed to be part of an expansion deal into the States, but he backed out at the last minute and took his money with him. It cost us quite a bit to clean up his mess, but now he thinks that he can get away with it. I would have forgiven him if not for his arrogance.”
“Bastard that backed out of a deal, that I can understand.” Alexei hummed as he continued to flip through the file. He began to frown and as he continued to search through the paperwork, the frown only deepened. “His position in the company allows him a lot of security detail, and he’s sure that we’re coming for him. He’s moved his calendar around to give us the smallest windows to get at him. Normally, I can work with small windows, but he’s made them impossible without going into the field.”
“Which is exactly what we’ll have you do.” Before Alexei could protest, Olev spoke up again. “I know you aren’t the biggest fan of going into the field-“
“I was shot last time.”
“-Nevertheless, you’re the only man that can do this hit and the only man qualified for the uncover role.”
Olev was just appealing to his ego, but Alexei couldn’t deny that it made the job at least a little bit better. Rather than continuing his complaints, he sighed and sat back in his chair. “Alright, fine. What’s the role?”
“Every year, Harlow attends a party for his label. All his big name signees attend and due to their celebrity status, the list is kept to a minimum which means there’s less cameras around. His security is stationed outside of the building and out of the way of the party. Meaning, if you can get into the party, you’ll have a clean shot.” Olev explained.
“Okay. How do I get in?”
“The only people allowed into the party are the actual celebrities, their guests, and their photographer, if they choose to bring them.”
“Well, I’m not famous, so I convince the celebrity to take me as their guest, right?”
Konstantin hesitated. “Well… no. You aren’t exactly- how do I say this without insulting you…” Konstantin exchanged a look with Olev. “You don’t really get along well with strangers.”
“I absolutely do get along with strangers.”
“You broke Elias’ arm the first day you met him.” Olev interjected.
“And he broke my nose. But we’re friends now!”
Konstantin just sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “The point isn’t that you’re friends now. The point is that you need to be appealing from the beginning, and you suck at that sometimes so we aren’t willing to risk that. Instead, you’ll become a photographer.”
As soon as Konstantin had said that, Alexei could see him start to get excited. “Whose photographer?”
Like a child that couldn’t hold back a secret anymore, Konstantin blurted, “Young Theron!”
The silence that followed was enough time for Konstantin’s expression to fall the moment he realized Alexei had no idea who he was talking about.
“Who?”
Konstantin huffed. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me, Alyosha. Young Theron? Xander Theron? Either of those ring a bell?” Alexei’s silence was enough to answer his question. “And sometimes I wonder why we were ever- uh, friends.”
“You know I’m not in tune with media. Especially American music.”
“That’s the thing. He’s worldwide, known in every country. How the fuck do you not know who he is?”
“That’s besides the point, Konstantin.” Olev rolled his eyes. “Alexei will learn who he is. We have everything on him. His schedule, his finances-“
Alexei began leafing through the papers before his eyes went wide. “Holy shit. He’s worth one hundred and three million? You’re shitting me. And he’s, what? Fuck, he’s only twenty one.”
Sure, he was wealthy himself, but it was nothing compared to what this man had. He couldn’t fathom spending that amount of money any day. There was no way this almost twenty-two year old, white boy rapper knew how to spend it either.
“Yes, he’s quite successful.” Olev’s phone began to ring and he checked the caller ID before standing. “I have to take this. If you have any more questions, Konstantin should be able to answer them. Otherwise, call me.”
As soon as he left, Alexei and Konstantin both leaned in to get a better look at the picture with Xander’s file.
“He’s kinda hot.” Alexei commented as he studied the picture. The man’s smile was absolutely cocky. His hair was slicked back in the picture, a look that accented his already severe facial structure. The shadows in the picture only enhanced his cheekbones and jawline and if he didn’t give off such a dickish vibe with that smile, then Alexei would have considered trying to bed him.
Alexei’s gaze moved from the picture to the rest of the information attached to it. “Oh. Fuck, he’s South African.”
“There’s nothing to worry about there. We’ve tracked his roots and he has nothing to do with Excetra.”
“You better be right about that.”
“We are, Alyosha.” Konstantin grabbed his chin and gently turned Alexei’s head to look at him. “You know I’d never intentionally put you in harms way.”
“And I appreciate that, Kostya.” Alexei leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. “Now, I need to start getting ready. I need to know this all by heart by the time my flight leaves.”
***
For the last three days, Alexei had been listening nonstop to Young Theron's music. Half of the reason he was doing it was so that he would be familiar with everything and would be caught up with all of his music history. The other half was to be able to get a read on what kind of a man he was.
From what he had found so far, he wasn't a fan. All he seemed to rap about were getting bitches and money, both of which were probably true, but it came across in such a cocky way that Alexei wasn't too fond of. It just became braggy and immature.
He seemed arrogant and dickish. Xander sounded so sure of himself, sure that he was on top of the world and looking down on anyone else that was trying to reach the same heights. This kid had no idea what the real world was like.
Despite his dislike of the actual words, Xander had a great voice. It commanded attention, had a sharp, rich quality to it that made Alexei want to hear more. If anything, he at least had that to hold onto.
Alexei couldn't guess what it would be like to work for Xander, so when he was picked up by a private car once his plane landed in Atlanta, he decided to ask the driver.
"Hey, do you know what it's like working for Young Theron? I just figured-"
"I don't know, man. He just hired me to drive you to his studio. I don't know him."
"Oh. Thanks." Alexei sighed and leaned his head back against the seat before closing his eyes. A fourteen hour flight was enough to make him exhausted. It would have been faster to take a private jet, but it would destroy his cover and would cause too much of a splash in the underworld. Alexei had a reputation among criminals. There were plenty of people that wanted his head.
"Say, are you Russian?"
Alexei just hummed in confirmation.
"That's so fucking cool."
When Alexei didn't respond, the driver fell quiet and continued to drive. Clearly, the man wasn't in a good mood, and it was possible that he was already sleeping.
Alexei was startled awake when the car came to a stop. He rubbed his eyes and sat up before collecting his things from the car. He stepped out of the vehicle and immediately put on his sunglasses. He was tired and it was far too bright outside for him to be comfortable. It was hot too, and he regretted not wearing shorts and short sleeve. Instead, he rolled up the sleeves of his black button down to his elbows and picked up his camera and duffle bag before heading to the place where he had been given directions to enter.
He reached the studio quickly and could already hear people laughing on the other side of the door. Alexei paused with his hand on the door handle and took a breath. He could do this.
Alexei swung the door open a little too hard but didn't flinch when it slammed against the wall. He entered and his gaze immediately fell on the rapper who was currently drinking from the bottle of whiskey.
"You." Alexei became aware that his tone was harsh as silence fell over the room. His intimidating and sudden appearance paired with his accent had the entire room staring at him.
"I'm your new photographer." Alexei set down his things in the middle of the room before striding closer to Xander, with his hand outstretched for a handshake. "Alexei."

I’ve been a fairly successful affiliate marketer for quite some time, but never took the time to fully dive into Amazon, Shopify & E-Commerce.  I decided to do just that, have been working on building out my first successful Shopify store, and wanted to share some amazing things with you that helped ME along my way.
So, here’s what I’m doing.  Instead of just telling you what I did, which I assure you is quite boring, I decided to reach out to every e-commerce expert that I know (or know of), and ask them ONE specific question, so that I could share the knowledge with you too on this Amazon & Ecommerce Roundup Post!
My Question for the experts:
“What Tips or Advice would you give to those just starting out with Amazon or E-Commerce?”
Their responses are below and trust me, you’re going to want to read every last one!
(IMPORTANT NOTE: These responses are NOT in order of who’s most succesfull or who you should pay the most attention to, they are in the order I received the responses to my question, and the 1st is just as good as the last. Make sure you read the whole thing or you’re going to miss out on some Golden Nuggets. )
Adrian Morrison – eCom Success Academy
What is the #1 thing every marketer should understand?
“Nobody cares what you think & nobody cares what you like”
Translation:  Your Passion is NOT Likely Your Profit.
To be a good marketer, you cannot think like a consumer.  By nature people are consumers. We are very opinionated and that is a massive weakness when it comes to marketing.
Most people fail online b/c they get stuck trying to promote things that they think are “cool” or that they think are a “good idea” … and they end up getting emotionally attached to these ideas even though they are not profitable.  Mostly because … no one wants to be wrong. So, naturally we work against ourselves.  You MUST FORCE yourself to drop the ego and just start marketing whatever is making money right now.  Stop asking the same girl to prom if she says no every time.
Following this understanding has helped me build a store that has done $5.5 Million in sales In just over a year, using the Shopify platform.
Adrian Morrison’s $5 Million ECommerce Store
Many of the products that I am marketing on my e-commerce stores do no interest me …
… and to be honest, I think most of them are quite silly (example: cat socks).
But the bottom line is … I am not the one shopping on my store.  I am not going to make make millions of dollars going on my own store and buying products myself.  I’m not the consumer. My opinion does not matter.  It’s the REST OF THE WORLD that I should be paying attention to…
… and obviously many of them absolutely love silly socks with cats printed on them.
There is a huge different between sales and marketing.  See, sales people have to convince you to buy something that you do not want and do not need. Marketers … well, we know what you want and what you need.  We just simply have to place It in front of your face and it’s likely you are going to take it.  That’s why marketing is so great.
If you want to be successful in product selection and marketing … forget your opinions.  Start paying attention to the masses online & you will prosper.
Have you seen those stupid fidget spinners going viral?  I think they are so stupid ….
… Oh wait a minute, nobody cares about my opinion, all that matters is that marketers are making millions of dollars RIGHT NOW marketing something that I personally think is stupid.
See my point? :). #CRUSHIT

My #1 tip for the 100k Factory (dropshipping) model would be…
Make great looking ads, professional product landing pages, and work hard to make your deals a complete no-brainer. These three things get us more ‘home runs’ than anything else.
My #1 tip for people wanting to get started selling their own brands on Amazon:
Make sure you can sell your product at least 3x the purchase price, have a clear point of difference from anyone else in the market, and position yourself as the premium brand.

The Definitive Guide To Selling Physical Products On Amazon
“How I Went From Zero to $1,008,532 in 6 Months…”
Matt Clark – Amazing.com
1. Sell the best product possible.
At the end of the day, there’s a real person that’s going to receive your physical product in their hands likely at their home. You want that experience to be as amazing.
The better that experience is – the better the product, the packaging, and anything else they receive – the better your business will do. On Amazon, this means more sales, more (and better) reviews, and more repeat purchases.
2. One product at a time.
One of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen from our tens of thousands of members that sell on Amazon is going to wide too fast.
Start with one single product. Don’t move away from that one product until you’re absolutely dominating the market (on Amazon, for example). Any new product you add is simply additional cost in the short-term (inventory, packaging, shipping, and your time).
Any additional focus you put on your first product is profit – you’ve already done all the work of getting it live, now it’s time to turn it into a consistent, cash-producing asset.
3. Play the long game.
There are a lot of people out there that throw around big numbers they’re doing in their businesses, especially on Amazon. The problem is, when you dig into exactly what they’re doing, many of them are doing things that are blatantly against Amazon’s policies and they’re putting their entire businesses at risk every day.
Don’t do that.
It’s OK to push hard, to market and sell well, and to do whatever you can that’s within the rules to grow your business, but play the long game. The people we know that are doing $10 million, $20 million, or more with their businesses today are the ones that run solid, legitimate businesses (that’s what it took to stay in the game long enough to get to where they’re at today).

eCommerance is a $1.9 Trillion Dollar a Year Business, and it’s expected to have double-digit growth by 2020 to over $4 Trillion Dollars. Now is a great time to be a part of that exponential growth. When Jeff Lenney asked me to write a little something for the guests of his blog I jumped on it, All while riding on a train in the middle of the Swiss Alps.
Here is my 14 Step bulletproof plan for reaching success as an eCom newbie:
1. Pick an eCommerce platform such as Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce. I personally like Shopify as it’s pretty easy to set up. They host your store and more importantly they have awesome 24/7 support. Along with a million other reasons.
2. Find your niche. What are you passionate about? What are other people passionate about? More importantly, go where the money is.
3. Do some target audience research. Find out how big your target reach can be. Also look for sub-targets like influencers, trade magazines, events, blogs, books, etc. and widen your reach.
4. Hire a designer and do it asap! One of the best investments of my eCom business was hiring a full-time designer from the Philippines. I pay him about $6.25 per design on a $125 per week agreement, and he pumps out 4-5 designs a day like clock work. (Secret Key: I hired him on Craigslist)
5. Find products which fit in your prospective niche audience. Look for low-end, mid and high price point products. Spend one day a week searching for new products. Go to places like AliExpress for drop shipping and places like GearBubble, ViralStyle and ShineOn for custom Print-On-Demand products.
6. Next, add these products to your shop with a plan to sell them. With that said, you need to write something appealing in the headlines and the descriptions of your products.
7. Remember to add your pixels in your store. Shopify makes it easy to do and use.
8. Ad Creatives, Now that you have your targeted audiences and your niches hot products I like to use Chris Records shotgun approach. This is where you build out 20 $5 a day ad creatives in Facebook. Use Post-Engagement Ads and Web-Conversion Ads, Use both Video Ads 1200×1200 or 600×600 for better use of eyeball real estate, reach and use 1200×628 for some of your Conversion and Retargeting Ads.
9. Run ads for about three days before you do anything. It takes FB™ 48hr to 72hrs to optimize for conversions on a $5 per day ad.
10. Kill losers and scale winners. This just means to kill the ads that have not converted for you. And increase budgets on winners by doubling them up.
11. Use disruptive and impulsive ad methods. Remember people in your niche need a reason to buy from you on the spot. So if you have unique products that resonate with your buyer, they will buy. This is what works great with Print-On-Demand products.
12. Once you find winners, work on ways to increase AOV (Average-Order-Value) And ways to improve LTCV (Long-Term-Customer-Value) But these are more advanced, and it is just food for thought until you get there.
13. Use Funnel Software and split-test, Headlines, Buttons, Images, and videos. Add Up-sales, Cross-sales, and Bump-sales. Plus add One-Click and Two-Click Upsells. This will make a major difference in ad cost to ROI and will massively increase your AOV.
14. Rinse and Repeat… 😉
Of course, there are other ways to skin a cat. However, in my two short years in eCom, these have seemed to work the best for our stores. I wish you all the fortune in your future endeavors.

Simplify.
I believe and teach something called dirty fast results. In as little as 120 minutes of video training, I have had beginner customers get their very first sales. And I can sum this up in on simple change in your thought pattern:
The core ideology behind this is as follows. “What do I do about (insert your doubt here)?”
Every time I encounter that problem from beginners, they are extrapolating concepts and ideas into ginormous future problems.
Mankind has an inherent and perpetual fear of making the wrong choice and seeking validation for their decisions. This is how we learn to avoid eating poisonous plants for example. Great on the evolutionary scale, terrible in the revolutionary one.
Technology is a new and beautiful forefront. The exploration of which is not meant for the meek. But the stakes are so much lower.
You will not die a poisoned death from putting a pixel in the wrong place, or uploading an ugly png file.
So to wrap this up. Throw caution to the wind. Get a basic understanding of things and learn to trust your gut. The second you try to over complicate step back and think “is this dirty, fast? Or is it slowing down my path to pure results?”
Even if the entire internet laughed out loud collectively at your attempts to build a future, so what? You learn, you love, and you create a vision nobody but you was ever meant to create.

Hey man 🙂 Okay, so Funnels is how you want to go. Basically, you want to either plan it like a typical autoresponder and you want to mix it with actual funnel style pages.
So how do these funnel pages look? Well I am using my own and I am releasing it to the public: http://trifunnels.com
Long story short, this is TriFunnels, and what we are doing right now with our stores
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
The Final Funnel Page Looks like This:
I Figured since I am using it why not roll it out to the public!
That’s what we are doing and let me show you how well we’ve scaled it.
This is this month (25 Days into May, 2017) with my store and as you can see there is a major scale point, (which came about when the funnel was implemented).
Essentially, it’s a low priced product front end and your traditional funnel to higher priced, relevant offers.  It’s all within Shopify, so it’s in 1 place.

People in the beginning always focus on what they expect the “end” to be.
They see the cars, homes, or lifestyle of those who ‘made it’ and say, “that’s what I want”.
While setting those goals can be a powerful push to take the leap into starting your own business… don’t forget to set the little goals along the way to keep you motivated.
Your first sale online, your first profitable month, your first happy customer testimonial, etc.
Businesses are built one step at a time, so lay out your steps and keep pushing toward the end goal.

I would tell them (newbies) to slow it down, I know it’s exciting and everyone wants to just get out there and do it.. And I support that, you should be getting out there right away and putting in work.
But I also think that people need to slow down and PLAN a little better… They’re starting a store right? A brand really… And so many people come up with an idea, find a product, setup a store and run ads all in one day.
Do you think that all the biggest brands in the world were built that quickly?
No… You’re building a brand you want to last a lifetime. PUT SOME THOUGHT INTO IT, plan something unique and valuable, something with a soul… And then you’ll be able to succeed… What’s two weeks planning a business when that business lasts the rest of your life?

Stephen Floyd – CEO, Search Evolve
My best advice for someone who is venturing into E-Commerce is to focus on building a brand that is memorable and has a very clearly defined message or cause or “why” behind it.
An excellent resource for this is the Ted talk, “Start with Why” by Simon Sinek.
If you find an audience that resonates with your message, the product you are selling becomes almost inconsequential.
Think Harley Davidson, how many people buy their clothing and accessories that don’t even own a motorcycle?
This strategy will make it easier for you to create content and ultimately your brand can become a valuable asset that has value outside the products themselves.

  Fred Lam – Zero Up
The biggest tip and advice that I can give to any individuals looking to start out in the eCommerce industry is to achieve the maximum average order value.
Your goal as the store owner is to put in place strategies that turn your customers from spending just $10 to $100.
This can all be done through funnel building.
In fact, this strategy is widely used by big box retailers and even restaurants like McDonald’s.
Ever being asked, “Do you want fries with that?”
Well, by asking that one simple question, McDonald’s drastically increase your profit and this can be applied in your eCommerce business by introducing what we call “upsells”.
If tomorrow, everyone starts to sell the same product as you but you have a funnel in place, you will simply wipe out the competition because you can afford more advertising dollars over your competitors who don’t have a funnel.
Not to mention, you need to craft your follow-up series to turn your new customer into advocate fans of your brand and constantly come back to your store to buy.
There’s no doubt that building a funnel is the single most important aspect to building, growing and scaling up your store.

  Sean Donahoe – Sellosity
My advice to new e-com entrepreneurs is TEST TEST TEST. I see too many people invest 100s of hours building huge stores and never knowing if people actually want the products they are selling.
Without proper research and testing their product offering you are gambling with the odds stacked against you. What we recommend is take a product, make a dedicated page for that product and send COLD but targeted traffic at the page.
Have all the good marketing elements on there such as benefit statements, good headlines, great imagery of the product “In Use” and scarcity, urgency, etc.
Make the offer a no-brainer and if people buy, you have a winner.
If you break even or just under break-even on ad spend, PERFECT because you can always scale up profits with a good ECommerce funnel, like we do with Sellosity. That can then feed leads and profits to a wider offering based around PROVEN products.

  Travis Petelle – KingPinning
When I’m ready to build a new business and when I’m coaching others on building their business, I follow this step by step plan of what to focus on and NOTHING ELSE until it’s done.
Here’s that plan…
Product: Your number one focus needs to be finding something people will buy. Make smart choices about the audience you’re showing each individual product too, but test as many products as you can until something catches.
Audience: You have a product that’s started to sell. Now, it’s time to focus on finding more that sell to this same buyer audience and expanding the reach of that audience… hence, creating a reliable audience beyond just interests targeting.
Assets: Build your following and your community by spreading your message as far as you can through social media, email newsletters, blogs, whatever communication channel that fits with your audience. Go where they go and be everywhere they go.
Systems: It’s time to put the everyday tasks behind your business into an easily followed step by step plan that can be handed off to others. We start outsourcing and building our team at this point.
Margins: You have a consistent sales stream, a thriving community, and now employee expenses. So, it’s time to improve any leaks in your system. Improving product fulfillment, using the right tools, high level branding, applying the 80/20 rule across the board are all ways to help you make more money for the investment of time/money you’re putting in.
Scaling: You have a machine pumping out a consistent stream of profit at this point. You’ve just improved the amount of money you’ll make from that machine by improving margins… now, it’s time to scale that mother.
Leverage: You have a valuable asset that can be leveraged for growing your empire in other areas at a much quicker pace.
– Thanks, Travis, that was EPIC.  For even MORE amazing tips from Travis, check out KingPinning.com – This is one of the biggest & best FB groups on ECommerce for a reason, get in there, you’ll thank me!

Robert V. Nava – Aka the Million Dollar Felon
Keep It Simple. There is so much noise about what works, what doesn’t work, and what you should be doing, that it’s easy to be overwhelmed and over complicate things in your mind.
If it’s complicated, it’s wrong.
Remind yourself of that repeatedly. You don’t know how often I spent hours working on plans and ideas, only to throw them away because they were too complicated.
To be an Ecommerce Entrepreneur you have to be fast. You can’t overthink things. You can’t get hung up on the fears of failure or not getting it right. It’s better to try and get it wrong than to wait and be beaten by a competitor.
Be unique with your products. Even if it’s something that 100 other people are selling, you can stand out as unique, you just have to find the right angle. That angle can be in how the products is used, who is using it, what it’s being used for, or many other factors.
Make it YOUR product; make it unique.
To sum it up: be simple, be fast, be unique.

  Tanner Larsson – BuildGrowScale.com
My number one tip to a newbie starting out in ecommerce starts with the need to understand that the ability to grow an ecommerce business comes down to being able to leverage paid traffic at breakeven or better.
The sooner a new ecomprenuer buys into this truth and starts focusing on it the better.
You can’t build a thriving ecommerce business on trickles of traffic. You need consistent and ever growing amounts of it so you can test products, optimize your stores conversions and dial in on your ‘real’ target audience.
None of that is possible without paid traffic and in order to be able to afford paid traffic you need to be focusing on the most important metric…your Average Order Value.  The higher your AOV is, the heathier your profits will be and traffic costs will become a non issue.

The Where, What, Why & How of E-commerce
If you’re diving into the world of Ecommerce, dropshipping, Retail Arbitrage, free + shipping, Shopify, Liquidation, books, wholesale to retail, eBay, Etsy or anything else….Know this..
YOU WILL MAKE MISTAKES!
Ecommerce is a real world business that is not a fad, trend or hype.
The difference from internet marketing is that you don’t have sell sell your expertise, buyers don’t know you nor care. They’re buying the product not you.
The biggest mistake I see is beginners taking courses from guys who just jumped into the e-commerce world within the last 2 years.
These gurus are advising the students to buy lots of inventory and private label it and ship it from overseas and send it to amazon fba.
Big mistake!
NEVER EVER buy lots of inventory when starting out or any at all if possible. Ask your guru how long have they been in the business and what they’ve had the most luck with. The very best way to get trained is go to to a hands-on bootcamp where you can bring your laptop and get things done. Think long term and what you still want to be building Years from now.
There’s so many ways to make money in Ecommerce that I see rookies jumping from thing to thing & change their niche frequently.
Pick a niche that you love and become an expert in that area.
Develop relationships with suppliers in that world.
Attend conferences where they exhibit.
The deeper you go, the more sales you will make, because buyers will see your Ecommerce site or store as an expert. Give tons of content on your site so the buyers keep coming back for great information. Develop a community, encourage interactive posts among members in forums.
Create a Buyers’ Club (Isn’t that what Costco or Amazon has?).
Given members discounts.
The annual membership dues can create huge revenue for you.
Plus, it gets members to keep coming back.
Create a Member Association (Example: Pet owners Association Worldwide) that connects to your site. People like to “belong”.
A small fee for this will make them keep coming back to get info on your Niche  and they’ll buy something while they’re there. Search the top websites in your niche and see what they do, get ideas from them (don’t copy them exact).
Hire the best team that you can! (Outsource)
Use Automation (software) to simplify and speed up tasks.
Hire a great coach who can help you grow faster, while avoiding mistakes that will cost you many dollars.
Think Big… Worldwide, not just Selling in your country!

Steve Tan – ECommerceElites.com
Having been in the eCommerce industry for more then 11 years, I have to say the whole landscape and industry has evolved a lot over these years. I think now is definitely one of the best times to get into owning a digital asset via building an eCommerce store, you own the brand, domain and store.
If not now, then when?
For those just starting out, and without much technical knowledge, the best way is to just get started with Shopify. Reason being, its just drop dead simple.
In my days we can only use software like Magento, which is a very complex and resources heavy tool. You will need to mess with dedicated servers, optimizations, security payment, compliance, etc. Now you just have to pay $29 bucks (per month) and everything else is taken care of, you can get up and running with a full fledge store in a matter of minutes. How I wish this kind of cloud eCommerce platform is available to us when we got started!
I would favor Shopify/eCommerce business model over Amazon because thats where I earn majority of the money. For someone just getting started, there is higher risk with Amazon as you will be doing private label and you will need to buy and stock inventory with FBA, whereas with the drop shipping model in Shopify there is significant less risk and turnaround time to get started. No doubt Amazon FBA is still an amazing business model, but if we’re basing just on how easy is it to get started, Shopify drop shipping is definitely the way to go.
For those just getting started with Shopify, I would suggest starting with a general store selling retail priced items. A general store means you can have several different niches in the store and not limited to selling just 1 niche. Then you should select 3-5 products to get started and the ideal price price range would be selling it anywhere from $19.99 to $39.99. This is the sweet spot for selling retail products. I would avoid the Free+Shipping model at the start even though it works well, but its very hard to be profitable if you do not know exactly what you are doing. You need good product bundles, upsells, email followups in order to maximize the LTV (life-time value) of the customer, so for a newbie just starting out going straight into selling retail products would be more ideal.
Another one of the biggest mistakes I see with newbies is they start with a general store with hundreds and hundreds of products. The problem with this they are doing the shot-gun approach, whereby it is not precise, and this will result in not allocating sufficient budget to test every single one of them, so the next question they probably will ask is WHY IS THERE NO SALES? I’ve seen someone test 300 products with a $50 dollar budget, so essentially each product is only getting $0.16 budget allocation, how do you test a product like this? So probably they might have a few gold nuggets in the store, but due to improper testing or insufficient testing budgets, they might just miss this product. Spend more time doing research, and finding 3-5 killer products to start would be the best in my opinion.
So they might have a few gold nuggets in the store, but due to improper testing or insufficient testing budgets, they might just miss this product. Spend more time doing research, and finding 3-5 killer products to start would be the best in my opinion.
One last tip would be to research properly who you follow and listen to. There are so many fake gurus wannabes in this eCommerce market with the sole intention of just scamming every single penny out of you . Fake gurus posting fake screenshots and creating shitty FB groups to cheat newbies and give untested advise. So make sure you screen it through your bullshit filter before buying anything.
