the problem, much the same as it was five years ago, is i'm not sure where to go with this fic

#libra.txt #i'm not just going to do a canon rewrite. that would be boring #but at the same time....... this jim is from a different timeline. he needs to go home eventually. #i mean. i know there's the multiverse theory where every choice creates a new divergent offshoot #so i'm sure i could handwave it so that claire can still be happy #and jim can go back to his time and finish off what the series did #since it's just an unbecoming au. not a complete trollhunter!claire separate arc #i mean. i've also laid down some breadcrumbs that this situation is not exact to canon #where unbecoming was like a weird dream. this jim was more or less sent back in time / sent to an alt universe #where what happened /felt/ like a dream #so in some aspects in this timeline it's more like he has weird foresight rather than directly experienced it #aaah this isn't making sense. whatever. i'm the writer and i'll figure it out
