FindJackWalten update and More! 1/13/24

Some of you may be familiar with the twitter thread Martin made a few days ago, talking mostly about stress and burnout and how he was planning to take some days away to relax, but that he was starting to feel like his current approach to the series was unsustainable and that he was probably going to have to re-evaluate things.

Cue last light! Or this morning, really, when two FindJackWalten pages updated. First we have the main page:

This page has updated to, seemingly, just show the title of The Walten Files: 4? (Or, if your screen brightness is configured specifically, a little bit more...)

We get a better understanding of this when we take a look at Findjackwalten.com/name-me:

The first short part of this page is about the same, except the top text has changed to read "THE WALTEN FILES SEASON ONE (2020-2024)". Then the first three episodes are listed as they were, and then we see the new stuff

The three new episodes we'd seen before, subtitled as "CyberFun Tech's Collection"? It seems to me like The Walten Files 4 has been split up between three smaller, more manageably-sized videos. Considering TWF4 was estimated to be about an hour and 20 minutes long, I'm envisioning these new episodes to be within the 20-30 minute range, much more like TWF2 was.

Also importantly, it looks like the end of TWF4, now TWF6, is going to be the Season 1 Finale. This leaves the numbers the same, but the actual plot is different. Originally Season 1 was going to have a two-part finale revisiting Sophie and Jenny's narrative where we left off in BunnyFarm.

Speaking of, if you highlight all the text on the page, (ctrl+A is a help,) something new appears:

That all said, it looks like these next 3 episodes are all slated to release sometime in February? Which is exciting.

I'm like, ridiculously excited, honestly? I think this was a really good decision for him to make. Pivoting to smaller episodes rather than really big theatrical ones is a really good move for him, I think. I also think this is going to be better for a lot of fans who were starting to feel like the ever-increasing scope and standard of the series was starting to feel kind of... cumbersome? I've seen more than a few people worried than an almost feature-length episode was going to feel really overwhelming.

So yeah. I think this was a good decision both to make The Walten Files more accessible for new and returning fans and to make it less of an incredible burden on its creator. And that's just a win-win to me. I'm so pleased.

I’d say Chris is a legitimate source; if he claims they are together then that’s the fact (whatever his way of statements have been), and it being a contract/stunt is the conjecture. Not the opposite. //

BUT HE HAS NEVER CLAIMED ANYTHING, that's the kicker. Even when he posted the video dumps, no where did he claim to be with her, but rather heart emojis and the year that was. Every word that he said during the SMA contradicted the actions that proceeded into the whole pap walk. Remember how he likes PDA? There is literally no where he has showed an ounce of affection for that girl, even in those videos. They are just cringe stuff that he has done with every random person he knows,just to paint a narrative.. just enough to creat a story but with enough room for deniability. Another little thing that people forget is , People magazine also reached out to sources and NOTHING was CONFIRMED. The same magazine that interviewed him before the public launch and claimed that if he was in a relationship he would say it himself. Just Jared coming out with a story before the dumps that was quickly deleted.

Now if liking posts is a confirmation of relationship then that man has been in a relationship with a lot of women.

My point is, even Chris is not a source. Because he has not said anything about them being together. Yet when he was with Jenny Slate,it was CONFIRMED by HIS people , with Minka it was CONFIRMED by HIS people.

Did anyone confirm that he and Lilly James were together, yet there are photos of them. In fact there is more PDA in those two days photos than in this:

" two year relationship with the love of his life that he will marry and has been married to,or have a house together to be featured in AD" and every other little thing we have heard.

Again creating a story and narrative for a purpose. Basically, a STUNT..

But let's look at his recent activities, when he speaks when events have nothing to do with her. He has said that Dodger is his true partner, just recently at a Walmart event, he said that a dog gives you what no other relationship with a human can and again right before he deactivated, he said how good it feels to be ALONE. I don't know anything about that man or more than what is speculated about him on SM, but that doesn't sound like a man is in a happy and healthy relationship. That doesn't even sound like a man in a happy place at the moment IMO.

Food for thought, didn't anyone notice the timing of all this. The public launch aka pap walk was right on the day of WN series premiere and Chris deactivated right after Netflix released WN to be picked up by another service. What did Simon Barry do on that fateful day of the pap walk, he tweeted, "he could do this all day." He also seemed very proud that WN did so well with little marketing. And just recently,what did he tell his WN minions, that the show has been renewed even though that is clearly a white lie.

Justin's father Facebook post really NEEDED to remind us that the marriage was to "Captain America" not even Chris Evans.

I don't know if the fact that it wasn't confirmed means something. I think that's usually how it goes with these types of articles: when a "source" talks about something rather than the people involved.

I always loved the scare videos with Scott because they were genuine and funny, but theirs with Alba was neither.

I agree that he doesn't talk about things like being super in love and being in an almost 2-year relationship. I'd get it if they were in a super secret or private relationship; however, they aren't. They did a pap walk, and he's shared several stories about their relationship. I'm not saying he would talk about her or mention her name all the time, but I think he would phrase a lot of things differently.

The fact that he was Captain America had nothing to do with what Justin's father was talking about. We know Chris Evans is dating Alba, and I'm pretty sure people know he played Captain America. It was all for the show.

Where the hell is all this Jenny Slate love coming from suddenly I’m seeing the last few days?!? You may hate fish, as do I, but let’s not pretend Jenny is an Angel. I was an outsider at the time and it was no where near love I saw for her online from fans at the time so why now?!

I’ve always had issues with her since she was on SNL. Her “F bomb” might have gotten her fired but let’s face it, she wasn’t the strongest comedic writer either and she was high nonstop. I’m all about self expression and I do believe in a level of openness and honesty as that’s how you become authentic and relatable but this lady had no filter. She may not have been racist but she still had many problematic behaviors that affected minorities.

Let’s not forget her homophobic tweets she suddenly had to delete when she dated your fave. I don’t know what was worse, that her BF had an openly gay brother or that the same said gay brother also called her his “favorite Jew” (& still has that pic up to this day) in support which is a whole contradiction in itself. Or the fat phobia she not only wrote about online (& had to delete) but incorporated in her standup as well. I recall her picking a bigger dude out of the audience and asking him how he manages to fuck his wife. She’s a fake feminist so please do not get me started on that. She comes from a well off wealthy background that I’m sure her white privilege has helped in getting her foot in the door of that prestigious college everyone gloats about. I’m sure I could too if I was rich. She may be a published author but nothing she writes makes any sense. She tries too hard to be whimsical or “quirky” and it falls flat. She’s openly mocked and made fun of mental illness. She is performative in all her activism and we can’t even say she did these things when she was young so we must forgive her. She was in her 30s. Do I continue?

But okay, let’s celebrate her I guess and for what? People are so quick to rewrite history. In 8 years, I guess fish will be admired too and how well she has “grown up.”

Man this one HURTS. It hurts in the long term, and it hurts in the short term. They communicate terribly, they understand each other better than most people understand them, they argue a lot and also are the bestest friend the other has ever had. I've said this for a while, but if things had panned out differently these two would've been best friends all the way back in the vault. And this invokes all that for me, but also. In context of where they end up by the end of the story... It hurts so so so bad. They never stop choosing each other even long long after.

They're always touching each other, holding each other, putting their hands on the other. A punch, a hug, holding each other's face. Hands holding, Butch arm around Amy's shoulder, Amy always ready and willing to hold Butch when he needs it. The world is shitty, but they're together.

crying, actually crying

This is the boys. This is the boys all the way. They're all so fucked up and hurt and love each other so much, and yeah they're TENDER. When I think of Leo/Hancock it's such gentle touches and adoring looks and holding each other gently. It's softly spoken words. It's staring into each others eyes. Mac/Leo is sharing the weight of a trauma, it's defending the other to the other, it's giggles and warmth by the fire as they help the other unwind. Hancock/Mac is camaraderie. It's being debaucherous fools who wind up holding each other. It's having their arms wrapped around each other and laughing.

Hopefully there will be a pt.2 with more members of the quartet (Sunshine/Half Pint/Deacon/Danse) (ik ik ik trust me it WILL work even if I forget why sometimes) (we've gone to crackship hell and we WILL radicalize Danse). Maybe for Mae/Takeshi? Maybe for Mae and someone else? A lot maybes.

First: your blog has been nothing but unbiased and evidentiary. Thank you for that.

No matter what side you fall on, you can make almost anything fit what you want it to. I feel like taking a step back and thinking logically is where the PR side is really showing.

Take away the announcement itself. If that pap walk was posted with no dating announcement, would everyone be so diehard on their belief of the relationship? Looking at that without believing in the relationship, it is cold and uncomfortable, him more so than her, but the evidence is still there.

If she had just quietly let the yoga instructor course out, without follows and likes out of nowhere, and if no previous pictures of the yoga groups without her had been posted, it could have been believable. But all of the pictures both instructors had posted of the weeks before didn’t have her in them. And they weren’t in a different post. All of them were posted in the same posts. Then she had to prove her certification, only after people had already noticed these little details.

WDW would have been believable if there had also been sightings of her with the family earlier in the week. They had been there for a few days because there had been multiple tweets from when the weather cleared up earlier in the week, plus meals. She would have been noticed.

The WDW video could have been believable if he hadn’t tried to cover every aspect of his head. In past years, sunglasses and a hat were all that was used, Covid restrictions are no longer in effect in the US. I work in healthcare, we are still busy as all hell with Covid cases.

His family had been seen with Jenny Slate and Minka Kelly, and if I’m not mistaken Jessica Biel. They didn’t hide interactions, and his mom had been photographed in said interactions or it’s on posts. There’s none of that here. His ma isn’t even following her, that’s a huge red flag because of how close he is with his family. Scott and Steve have had very limited interactions with her, none outside of the follows really.

Not to mention his very single behavior over the last year. Multiple reports of different women, his very obvious flirting and checking out of attractive women in his vicinity during press time, his almost identical answers on looking for love and just not having the right one yet, Dodger as his best relationship/soulmate comment, and back to the beginning with the announcement and pap walk.

Sorry for this being so long, but I just wanted to offer an analytical perspective.
