roman roy cares too much. he loves too much. he gets treated like shit by his dad, and still swoops to the lowest points to please him. because he loves him. he starts relationships out of something stupid/ just to be a dick (tabitha), or out of sadness/curiosity (gerri) only to get attached. he acts like the big man, like he doesn’t care, when clearly he does. it’s clear that his breakup with tabitha still affects him. it’s clear he’s overly enamoured with gerri and her “dumping” him and getting with someone else very clearly upset him. he goes between pushing people away and dying to have them close. he pushed grace away. he pushed tabitha away. he didn’t so much as push gerri away, as gerri knew their “relationship” wasn’t exactly sustainable. but roman clings onto her. honestly, i feel like there’s gonna be a scene in season 4 where gerri might go back to roman and try to manipulate him somehow and roman pushes her away, even though he really doesn’t want to. he lashes out at the people he cares about. he loves his siblings so much, but tends to act like a dick to hide that fact. he doesn’t want to show weakness. because he knows to be weak is to be eaten alive.
