my brother said that my childhood dog “hated me” and i know he was trying to joke but i instantly started crying because she was so precious to me and i always feel so bad that i was just a kid who probably just annoyed the shit out of her for so many years. i still worry that she hated me even after i grew and i try not to think about it bc i loved her so much
