🕯️ ⇢ on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? why is that?

other people's writing? 10. it's enormously satisfying to let my brain loose on tweaking things i would ignore otherwise, and i love sitting down with someone and figuring out 'okay why isn't this working, what does it need to do, what's the best way to use language here.' my writing? 3. i will do spelling and grammar fixes happily, but like...major rewrites, cutting scenes, all of that--excruciating. i do not like it and i rarely do it. by the time i am putting words down a thing is usually like...already a revised version of my initial concept? i'll change things as i go but god i hate going back and changing things.

casey/april TMNT: i think that whatever continuity, they do a reasonable amount of bonding over being The Humans, and save a lot of conversations for each other that won't necessarily make sense to the turtles

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh man. i dunno, man, if i can think of a cool idea it's usually because i want to write it. hm. i guess i'd love to see a one piece nami/vivi deities au where nami is the goddess of weather who's been trapped for years and vivi's attempt to bring the rain back to alabasta involves bringing nami back. except also there are identity shenanigans. and for who would write it best would be Not Me.
