Ok but what if gortash used the Crown of Karsus as an excuse for durge to practically move in with him. Coming up with the excuse that such a weapon needs to be protected until they can get it on the elder brain. It would only make sense for durge, the demigod trained killer, to be the one to protect it and it only makes sense that Gortash keeps it as his place because the temple of Bhaal is hardly a safe place for such a powerful relic (and gortash sure as hell isn’t letting it out of his sight)
