I love when there's a Big Bad that feels all powerful and undefeatable but then we start to get to know the Big Bad and suddenly an even Bigger Badder entity enters the story and we realise that the first big bad was actually not that powerful and can barely hold their own against the bigger bad but that doesn't matter because it just serves to show how terrifying the new threat is

#qsmp #this is about the federation and the eye entity #we thought cucurucho was all powerful. we thought the federation was the main enemy #we drew this image of a larger than life organisation possibly able to control space and time itself #but then we started to get to know the workers. we started to learn more about the federation's inner workings and tge resistance #and suddenly they didn't seem so unreachable #and that's went the narrative went SIKE and introduced a third much stronger party #who the federation is clueless about and pwerless against #which is a great narrative choice. you don't let your characters get too comfortable in a story like this #i just love the qsmp ok the admins do an incredible job #qsmp purgatory event
