Your Ultimate Guide for Car Rental Jordan Airport
Jordan, with its captivating landscapes and historical marvels like Petra, the Dead Sea, and Wadi Rum, is a dream destination for many travellers. The compact size of the country makes it a perfect candidate for exploring by road and renting a car in Jordan provides the flexibility and freedom to create your adventure.
In this blog, we will into essential tips and advice for Car Rental Jordan Airport, ensuring an unforgettable journey through this Middle Eastern gem.
Tumblr media
1.Cost-Effective Exploration
Contrary to expectations, Car Rental Jordan Airport is surprisingly affordable. In fact, it's often cheaper than renting a car in the United States. Budget-conscious travellers will find that this option not only provides economic benefits but also opens up a world of convenience and opportunities to explore hidden gems.
2.Discover Hidden Gems
Jordan, though a tourist hotspot, has its share of less-explored treasures. To escape the crowds and venture off the beaten path, renting a car is indispensable. The freedom it offers allows you to uncover hidden gems that may be inaccessible by public transport, enriching your travel experience with unique discoveries.
3.Swift Travel
While local buses are a budget-friendly option, they can be time-consuming due to frequent stops and adherence to fixed schedules. Renting a car ensures a faster and more efficient journey, especially if you want to explore multiple destinations within a limited timeframe. The JETT bus system is useful, but it may not always align with your personalized itinerary.
4.Easy Driving Experience
Unlike some countries with chaotic traffic and unpredictable driving habits, navigating Jordan’s roads is relatively laid back. Outside of Amman, the driving rules align with those in North America and Europe, making it a comfortable experience. Traffic concerns are minimal, except in bustling areas like Amman.
5.Unmatched Convenience
Amman Car Rental for personal use means saying goodbye to rigid schedules and limited transport options. You can travel at your own pace, stopping whenever you please, whether for a scenic view, a quick snack, or a bathroom break. The convenience of having your transportation enhances the overall enjoyment of your journey.
6.Embrace The Fun Of Road Trips
Road trips are inherently enjoyable, and Jordan’s diverse landscapes make them even more thrilling. Load up on snacks, create a playlist, and relish the freedom of the open road. Whether you are traveling solo or with companions, the road trip experience in Jordan is bound to be a highlight of your adventure.
7.Effortless Parking
Parking hassles can dampen any travel experience, but in Jordan, finding parking is a breeze. Most accommodations, from hotels to Airbnb, offer dedicated parking spaces. Even in urban centers like Amman and Aqaba, street parking is readily available, allowing you to explore with peace of mind.
8.Combat Travel Sickness
For those prone to motion sickness, cramped public transport can be a nightmare. Amman Car Rental provides the luxury of stopping whenever needed, and sitting in the front seat or taking the wheel can significantly alleviate motion sickness—a crucial comfort for a smoother journey.
Bottom Line
Alright, fellow explorer, picture this: you, a rental car, and Jordan’s wonders at your fingertips. It is not just a road trip; it is your adventure – and it won’t break the bank either. From saving bucks to finding hidden gems, your journey through Petra and the Dead Sea becomes a customizable masterpiece.
So, pack your snacks, opt for Car Rental Jordan Airport, cue your favourite tunes, and hit the road. Jordan is waiting, and with your own wheels, it is a journey where you are in control. Here is to easy parking, swift travel, and a whole lot of fun.

Plan Your Trip with a Travel Agent in Jordan
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, more often known as Jordan, is the most laid-back nation in the Middle East and has long drawn tourists. The country now welcomes more than four million tourists a year to its expansive desert vistas, hospitable cities, and the remarkable Dead Sea. A few of the must-see places are Wadi Rum, The Temple of Hercules, and more.
youtube
Amman – Wadi Rum – Amman
After picking it up by a travel agent in Jordan, go south to the Wadi Rum desert, often known as the Valley of the Moon, where Lawrence of Arabia was filmed. With a 4x4 jeep, explore Wadi Rum. With its distinctively shaped enormous peak and soaring cliffs in a range of brownish, reddish, and golden hues, Wadi Rum emerged from the rosy, red sand of the desert. Go back to Amman.
Amman – Petra – Amman
The Nabatean Red-Rose City of Petra, the new wonder of the world, was sculpted out of stone more than 2000 years ago in order to control the trade routes of ancient Arabia. It is picked up in Amman. See its dams, waterways, and towns. The major entry to the city is the siq, a three-quarters-mile (1.2 kilometre) long, extremely congested roadway. The "Khazneh" or treasury is at the end of the siq. Go back to Amman by contacting a travel agency in jerusalem.
Aqaba – Wadi Rum – Aqaba
Pick up at Aqaba, then go south to Wadi Rum, well known as the Valley of the Moon, where Lawrence of Arabia was filmed. With a 4x4 jeep, explore Wadi Rum. With its distinctively shaped enormous peak and soaring cliffs in a range of brownish, reddish, and golden hues, Wadi Rum emerged from the rosy, red sand of the desert. Go back to Aqaba. Five Reasons Why A Trip To Jordan Is Incomplete Without Visiting Petra
Known as the "Lost City", the "Pink City", and also the "Rose Red City", Petra is a charming old city and UNESCO world heritage site settled in the desert canyons of southern Jordan. The dusty pink stone exterior and mystical desert landscape are well known for being among the world's Seven Wonders. We state here the five reasons why not visiting Petra of Jordan makes a trip to the land incomplete.
Dazzling natural beauty
The city of Petra, set into the dramatic mountains and canyons, was cut into the stone face by the old Nabateans. Entering the city is a mysterious encounter, and each step uncovers another miracle. As a visitor, you would wonder about the mysterious carvings in the stone as they wind through the secret pathways.
Tumblr media
A sight into history
Visiting Petra offers an exciting look into history. The city was once the flourishing capital of the Inside the city, you will see the remains of an inventive water framework from the Roman and Byzantine periods, which is especially noteworthy given the desert conditions. While visiting Petra, Nabateans. Situated between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea, Petra was once a pivotal place to stop for traders.
you will likewise wonder about the architecture, especially the complex carvings on the stone face, tombs, holy places and the archaeological discoveries of copper mining.
It is safe and easy to reach
As Petra is a preserved heritage site and carries tourism to the locale, it is exceptionally focused on by the Jordanian government, which has guaranteed that it is both open and safe for vacationers. The nation depends vigorously on tourism and invites worldwide guests to visit this one-of-a-kind and magical site.
It is generally simple to make a trip to Petra, and the city is often visited on the way from Amman to Aqaba. However, visiting Petra in a group guided by reputed local tour operators is one of the most well-known ways of seeing it.
The social association
Individuals currently possessing the region around Petra and close by Wadi Rum are known as Bedouins. They are both a settled and nomadic tribe that has figured out how to practically adjust to the unforgiving desert conditions.
Bedouins are well known for their culture, hospitality, warmth, and profound comprehension of their natural surroundings. They have prevailed over time and found some harmony between incorporating into Jordanian culture and the locals and keeping up with their old customs.
Tumblr media
Under the Stars
Visiting Petra of Jordan is an extraordinary encounter whenever you go; however, something stands out about Pink City around evening time. If you adventure down through the Siq after dark, you will find about 1,500 candles lighting your way to the Treasury.
If you want the best exploration and experience while visiting Petra, contact Jordan Perfect Tours at +962795022001. They bring locals who can organize the best trip. The amazing part of their tour is that though the charges are reasonable they never compromise on quality.

The Red Sea and the Dead Sea 7 the Bedouin’s
Aqaba sits right at the foot of the Red Sea. Here we found the beach full...I had thought it would not be warm enough to swim. Aqaba is a resort town, geared to tourists. Bikinis o the beach, close to those with a burka. Talk about a shocking juxtaposition. The Arab women are on the beach with their children or setting out lunch for the men, draped in long black, faces covered except for their eyes. As I’ve said before I would so like to talk to some of these women. But they are not friendly. More covering, less friendly. I’d probably be too. And it is hot here. 30 degrees. We did not go swimming because we were getting ready for the trip to the desert tomorrow! But my Bestie showed up sick. Oh NO! No desert rat race for her. So sad. I don’t want to not share this with her. But the man and I decide to go.
Off to Wadi Rum, a National Park where the Bedouin’s have made a business of taking the tourists out to the desert to run around in jeeps (actually Toyota trucks with benches in the back) and then to sleep in tents or under the stars. We went out with the Wadi Rum Nomads and it was truly a fun day. The Bedouins who ran the business (men only, women not involved in the tourist business at all) were friendly and welcoming. Fawzeed, the boss, must have been the ripe old age of 28 or so. Our guide was just 18. Rasheed. What a doll. He was as charming a fellow as I’ve ever met. I spent much of the day seeking a girlfriend for him. There were a lot of tourists around so I had a lot of girls to choose from. I finally found one for him from Romania. I’m sure it will all work out! He tells me he will have to have a house, a job a truck and various other accoutrements before he can take a wife. He must be able to support her in style. He expected that some day he’d have 2 wives. His father had 2 wives. Several of his cousins were also along guiding other tourists. This is a family affair. Rasheed pulled in in the lee of a big cliff, so we’d have shade and he built a little fire and cooked lunch. It was mostly from cans, but of course tasted great in the outdoors. The day itself was very hot and we were glad of the wind as we drove across the desert. We visited many interesting rock formations, a huge sand dune, and 3 rock bridges. I was too scared to go up on those things. But several from our group did not exhibit my good sense. Scary. Crazy.
But survive we did. Hiked through a couple of canyons, scrambling over boulders. This day was a workout. We must have climbed out of the back of that Toyota 25 times! Watched the sunset. Rasheed brought us sage tea. I smoked a hookah pipe! A magical day.
Thenoff to the camp itself. A communal camp with a huge tent with a fire burning merrily in the middle. Fabric covers the walls. The guides entertained us with music and dancing. Then supper. Cooked in a barrel in the ground. Covered with sand. Baked all day. Chicken, vegetables, Delicious. The sleeping tents were very basic, fabric tents, lined with fabric, twin beds. And that’s it. I don’t think there was much difference between the tents and outside. Big warm blankets though. Had to go to another building to pee. By midnight, no water, no power. Black. This is all solar powered. So not much power. None at night. The sand sifts into my shoes at every step. In the morning we get up early, ask the guys for coffee. They bring out instant and hot water. I fill my cup from one thermos. Terrible. eventually I learn I added tea to my instant coffee. Geez.
A fun experience. Met several interesting people. Adored Rasheed.

Jordan - Regrets
Hiring a driver in Jordan was my biggest regret and unfortunately it tainted my overall time in Jordan. We hired a diver because people told us it would be safer, easier, and less of a hassle. Where we went wrong is, we didn’t do our research on the driver, who came highly recommended from a friend who went to Jordan a few months back. Our friends trip was very short and sweet while ours was much longer and we ran into a bunch of uncomfortable situations.
First, we thought we hired a driver for 24/7 well that’s what Musa the gentleman we coordinated with said. 24/7 doesn’t translate across boarders and what he meant was, the driver will take you to and from major locations but not anywhere in between (anything local or in the town(s) we were staying in) and you are not allowed to change your plans from the itinerary you have set. Well clearly I didn’t know this and made a rough itinerary with the major locations thinking if we saw something cool or learned of a new place we’d want to visit we could just go there… we had a driver 24/7 after all. Well, I was wrong and it made for some extremely uncomfortable conversations and car rides. Hamza our driver, dropped us off at Petra for the day and he said he was going to go back to Amman to driver another couple across the country and he’d be back in 6-7 hours. We thought it was strange but as long as he could get back in time to pick us up who cares what he does with his time. We had walked around Petra for 7.5 hours and when we called him to pick us up he was 2 hours away. We ended up paying for a taxi because he wasn’t around. It wasn’t a short ride but it’s the principle and we had paid $750 from a driver and now we were paying for taxi’s on top. It was not right and it continued like this. We confronted Musa about this because I felt we were being taking advantage of and it just led to more unease. We paid $750 for a driver because we were in a new country and we didn’t know the laws, lands, or language and thought things would be safer. Instead we spent way tooo much of our time worried about if our driver was angry at us, or would take us to the right place, or ask us for more money. Not only was he not around 24/7 like we had arranged but our driver Hamza was texting, calling, and at times yelling on the phone while driving us extremely fast. Looking back now, we realized we shouldn’t have booked with someone who wouldn’t accept credit card. We went off a friend reference and didn’t do our homework like we usually do and it came back to bite us in the butt.
Musa (the coordinator) did help me rearrange my itinerary when we first began and gave some good recommendations. When we went to the Dead Sea, Hamza (our driver) said the place I booked wasn’t very nice and he could help us get a room at the Dead Sea Spa which was much nicer at a good rate. He was right! He booked us a room and it was really nice, at the end we got the invoice and he overcharged us $186USD so it was a bit slimy. And when we went to leave- Musa said he could help get a COVID test for my mom. He wanted me to give him $56USD and he’d get us negative results. My mom said she’d rather go to the airport which was very smart because it was only $21 at the airport and not illegal. Again, SLIMY!
The overall Jordan trip was once of a lifetime. Partly because it was so vastly different than everywhere else we’ve traveled before and partly because we did all we need to do in Jordan and we don’t need to come back. The main attractions we went to Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea were absolutely breathtaking and like no other places we had ever traveled, they were incredible. The food was pretty good and the culture was something new for us. Those aspects of the trip and of course the great company of my mom and husband made the trip worthwhile! I do regret hiring THIS driver and am sad we got taken advantage of but I didn’t take any photos of those scumbags sooooo hopefully they will soon wash from my memories as fast as I washed the Dead Sea mud off my body!
