you guys met bc you went w/ him and Steve to Wakanda after the accords

before meeting him in Berlin, you guys didn’t know each other at all

well like you knew about him through Steve but you never met him

and he only knew about you through Steve as well

ugh we love a match maker

so you and Buck had a few years to get to know each other in Wakanda

you were so happy to be in the country w/ the new scenery and culture

you and Bucky really got to know each other when he noticed you snappin pics of the animals and nature and people

and he approached you asking if he could see the pictures you’d taken

you were so shy™️ and nodded, showing him all the pictures you took

laughing at silly pictures of the goats doing goofy goat things

this soon became a usual thing

of you taking pictures and even when Bucky wasn’t with you, you’d go look for him to show him all the photos you took

he found that shit so endearing like ? he’s soft and he’s only know you for a few months

it took him A LONG time to trust you, and you could tell when he would push you away

or hold back

but you didn’t pressure him bc you understood him

within the first year you guys were good friends

spending a healthy amount of time together

you educate him about things he didn’t know

like history and stuff like

I’m sure he was busy masking his identity he could learn everything

he tells you stories from his childhood

and definitely totally spills the tea on young, lil’ Stevie

you give him lots of advice, even when he doesn’t ask for it

you were so much more into the friendship than he was

by the time two years had past you and Bucky were spending almost everyday together

and he was gradually starting to open up to you

he invites you to the lab when Shuri calls him in to run tests and whatnot

and you’re so happy he did that !!
