Sit down and I'll walk you through it. _________________________________ I've started listening to @themaineband about 6 years ago when I first met @noorxx & @dearmariahx thanks to my trip to the US. I haven't stopped since. This album - Forever Halloween - came out about 4 years ago, and it literally blew my mind. A lot of these songs mean a lot to me. Some of these words are about to get tattooed on my skin in a few weeks. I never got a chance to buy the vinyl album in 2013. It was pressed in only 1.000 copies, featured an orange and a black vinyl, and had this really cool art inside. I've been looking for it for about 3 years. I finally found it in a tiny record shop from Indonesia a while back, and here it is! Nicely packed and without any scratches on! It's been my Graal for three years and it's now inside my record collection, and in between my hands. _________________________________ Special thanks to @imaginairerecordstore for sending this over from Indonesia to France! 📢VINYL UPDATE!!!📢 THE DEMONSTRATIVE PURCHASE FROM DAIS RECORDS It's been a long time / I shouldn't have left you / Without a Vinyl Update to step to... Actually, this vinyl record could be included in the May Vinyl Challenge earlier this year. Day 14 of this year's #mayvinylchallenge was "Waited The Longest To Be Released | Delivered". At the time, it was the #Sault record "Nine"... No longer. This winner of this title is now: 🔺️ Drab Majesty - The Demonstration [2017; 2022 Reissue] Ordered in March, this record made it's way to me in early September. And as ways with Drab...twas worth the wait! Literally a movie for your ears (IYKYK), "The Demonstration" is a Gothic synthscape of wonder, melancholic musing, actions and aftermath of the doomsday cult, Heaven's Gate. I won't go into the details of the tragic situation here, but the album focuses on this matter, with introspection and poetic analysis, set to a retrofuturistic soundcape. A cult soundtrack for a cult situation. I even tried to go above and beyond with the decorations for the shoot. Applaud my measly efforts!! Killer Native American black metal!Pan-Amerikan Native Front recently released a vinyl version of their 2016 debut album, "Tecumseh's War". I have long had this very special album on CD and cassette and am happy today to also add this brand new vinyl edition, tshirt, and patch to my collection. If anyone remembers the 2021 May Vinyl Challenge, I displayed an album on Day 19 ("Took The Longest To Find") entitled "Music For Teenage Sex" by a band called Baby Buddha. After writing about the disappointment of the name of the album being changed from "Sex" to "Sects", a comment comes in a year later and informs me that it was the record label's doing for European distribution. I then went into FanShock as I realized that the person contacting me was West Coast synth pioneer David Javelosa, founding member of BABY BUDDHA and LOS MICROWAVES!!! I told him I was a fan and dug what he and his bands did. He later asked me for my address and sent me 3 records!! Awfully nice of him to do!! Thank you so much, my friend! Keep your antennas up for these jams on the radio show! Anything and Everything, y'all. And I highly suggest you check out this dopeness for yourself. Get into it... LET'S DO IT!!!
