I geek out over the strangest things. I just saw an ad for a contour measurement device to make it easier to size and place cuts on tile, wood etcetera. My immediate thought was that the CatVetCommunity needs one for the woodshop at least. We live in such a fast paced world. Away from nature. Mind you, I love technology and want it fully integrated in the no kill intentional community shelter of my dreams. One of the advantages of a no kill intentional community shelter is that it provides a village within a city. You can eat, recreate, watch things on a huge screen, exercise and even see a doctor on site. You can work in the city and come home to a place of peace where you can easily mingle with other people without exhausting yourself for the next day because you can walk (or ride a golf cart) home. Or just come home and take a calming walk in the woods. But unlike an apartment complex or condo or townhouse, you can have your own home. A home built for you to age in. BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY - ST. MARY'S CHURCH, HARBORNE BIRMINGHAM UK . . It's an awesome day today, beautiful Sunday, sunny with 8°c. Attended the 9:30am Sunday mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church (about 15 minutes drive from our home in Smethwick). After the mass, we decided to go for the Sunday Roast (a traditional British main meal that is typically served on Sunday, consisting of roasted meat, roast potato, and accompaniments such as Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, vegetables and gravy breakfast) at the Old House at Home reusterant (about 10 minutes walk from the church toward Smethwick). Yesterday evening, we were here for jogging till the University of Birmingham. . .
