Varian the alchemist [Sighing]: "We did not get off to the best start, meeting at the Fire Trial when you stole the first totem from me and Yong. Later on, when you return the totem and somehow is able to join the team, you constantly annoy me with his persistently snarky personality and wit. Over time, we become friends, only occasionally arguing about something. I would never admit it, but I looked up to you for your qualities. It is thought that I saw you as everything I wanted to be, and began to gain a sense of admiration. When it is revealed at the Eternal Library that you were plotting against me with Donella, I am obviously hurt by it. I locked myself in the Eternal Library and was possessed by my mother. You, somewhat managed to get into the Library, is eventually able to free me. After sharing an embrace, you admit your own attraction to me. I was happy about this and kissed Hugo, becoming your boyfriend. I forgive you for your work with Donella and decide you are a good person."

Hugo: "..."

Varian the alchemist: "Heh, yeah. I am just worried if I will be possessed again by her! After seeing her, it comes to my attention that she isn't how she was before."
