I've been thinking a lot about what I would do if I could make a Hawaii Part II cover album recently, and I've got all my ideas stored in this little Google Doc here! :D
This will probably never come into fruition, but a boy can dream right? 馃尨馃寛
Listening to hawaii part II without premium is funny because they鈥檒l be singing about the second tower and all of a sudden I鈥檒l be getting an ad for a pizza buffet

in Roman mythology, Juno is the goddess of love and marriage. in Greek mythology, Apollo is the god of prophesy and the Sun (not to be confused with Helios, who is the Sun).
"Ruler of Everything" by Tally Hall begins with "Juno" attacking the Sun after feeling betrayed.
"Variations on a Cloud" by Miracle Musical contains a varied reprise of the first half of the second verse of "Ruler of Everything". "Isle Unto Thyself" from the same album references the story of Hyacinth, a mortal lover of Apollo whom he accidentally killed, and who eventually was resurrected as a god.
I forgot where I was going with this actually. I think it was something about the male character of "Hawaii: Part II" feeling betrayed by "Apollo", after killing his wife in search of answers, so in between bouts of grief and electroconvulsive therapy, he tried to seek revenge against the Sun - but Helios never betrayed him, being his "wily one, only friend". also the white ball is the moon.
