Nesrin is Rogan's younger podtwin who, due to some unknown complications during her awakening, awoke in 1326 AE (while Rogan awoke in 1325 AE and was already gone by the time she first opened her eyes). Born without remembering her name or what happened in the Dream, she was growing restless and angry due to her not feeling a connection to the Pale Tree. 

Her mentor, a disguised Nightmare Court recruiter, tempted her very early on to join their organisation due to her wild nature and criminal tendencies (she enjoyed stealing and collecting valuable items from shops around the Grove). Her response to such invitation was a fight in which she single-handedly killed her mentor while laughing hysterically. Deemed somewhat problematic, she would have been assigned to a new mentor outside the capital if a mysterious man coming from Lion’s Arch hadn't stepped forward and offered to take her on as her apprentice, promising her a purpose. While her caretakers weren’t happy of such proposition, she accepted nonetheless. 

The man who took her under his wing, Xavion, was a renowned member of the Zaishen Order, born in Amnoon. During their stay in Lion’s Arch he taught her how to manage her anger and introduced her to mirage magic, for which she was naturally gifted. As time went on, he began to treat her more like a daughter than an apprentice, calling her “Nesrin”. 

During Scarlet Briar's assault on Lion's Arch, he and Nesrin escaped to Elona. Shortly after she became a Zaishen trainee and began following Balthazar's teachings.

She is very prone to vanity and shallowness. She values her appearance and can get really angry when her hair or clothes are damaged. Her hobbies include tarot reading, dancing and singing with her companions.
