Happy Conway Day from Paldea! 💃💃

I can't believe I never did anything for Conway Day that incorporated some of my culture before. But with Gen 9 taking place in the Iberian Peninsula, I couldn't miss the chance! So it took them to a typical Spanish summer feria so they could dance and enjoy some good food~

The song I used is Odore Feria, the Japanese version of a very popular sevillana by Cantores de Híspalis. Since the DP cast is all Japanese, I thought it would only make sense to use a version they could understand, haha.

The lyrics you can hear in the clip mean "Let's dance (x3), let's dance sevillanas! Let's dance together (x2)!", nothing too complicated but I still wanted to include the translation just in case!

it's just The Song Ever. the rm flagship theme song, or rather, i think because if rm was ever a tv show, i'd have crimson dawn covering style be the intro...i think new perspective is the outro to every episode and might be...the acoustic version? we love a little contrast. i think about the rm tv show too much, i want to write it out.

Abbott and Dr Marshall Quesne as Gomez and Morticia Addams

I've been thinking a lot lately about how Gomez was partially inspired by Peter Lorre and it made me wanna draw one of his characters as Gomez. weird post and not poll related but. ursula k le guin's work got nominated to canon polycule (the short stories w the polyamorous planet) so im thinkin maybe some of this blog's followers are fans of her books and i was wondering if any of you guys could tell me about Tales of Earthsea? i only ever watched the Ghibli movie which from what i've heard is a terrible adaptation (its also kind of a weak and slow movie but i like it fsr) and id love to read the story but i have Issues w books like i just cant focus no matter how much i like it, i maybe get through one book a year even tho i love reading 😭😭

i plan on googling it but id like to hear more personal opinions before reading a full essay if anyone has one they'd like to share? infodumping is encouraged btw 💖
