He is still filled with rage but it becomes something he must consider and overcome

skfhgfdfgh omg yeah!!! and like, he probably considers isolating himself to deal with it on his own at first, i like to think taniks naturally gravitates towards wanting to overcome things on his own, but eventually learns and realizes that he doesn’t have to deal with it by his lonesome. 

like, ok, i like the idea that for the first time in either of his lives, he gets a chance at having a decent (or at least better) support system that’s not going to try and drag him down when he’s got the chance to rise up among others. like he gets a whole new path to explore. it’s not going to be easier than the other one he forged, but taniks is also naturally a hard ass who’s very determined and will NOT be brought down easily by the challenges presented to him lmao.

#also like... i can't see him as the kind of guy- even as a good one- who would seek redemption for something he did that he can't change #like he's not the kind of guy to throw himself at the feet of others and beg for their forgiveness #even if. maybe at times he'd appreciate being shown mercy. but like. i think if anything he'd wanna look forwards too #like.. when you die and are reborn and have no memory of your past self there's gonna be an obvious disconnect #i don't think he's gonna expect others to feel bad for him either and tbh i think he'd appreciate not being patronized or babied lol #no house no masters #SLDFGBKH SORRY FOR RAMBLING AT YOU!! #uncle taniks au

taniks definitely lives up to valkriis’ nickname of “spitfire”, even as a guardian. like, i don’t think you can ever get rid of the passion in this guy, and he’s GONNA voice his opinions/displeasure, but also like... i do like the idea of him overcoming that rage too and just, learning to cope with situations that push him over the edge. 

he needs to find people who will love and accept him for who he is and let him be angry and loud about things from time to time, maybe even a LITTLE violent just to get the rage out properly (look sometimes u gotta break/blast shit, it’s ok), but also people who will like. help ground him when he really needs it.
