every couple of years my body rebels against me in the most hilarious ways possible

#in hindsight its funny as hell but that new years in seventh grade was awful actually #like girl i got the stomach flu AND got so severely dehydrated i needed to be hospitalized? fucking wild #i remember being in urgent care in the waiting room and there was this tiny child like 7 or 8 across from me #we were both leaning on our moms but i guess i looked a lot more miserable than he felt bc he just kept staring in horror lmao #u know how they usually get ur baseine stats before letting a doctor see u? i dont even remember that #like i vaguely remember the nurse teling me to sit on a chair to get my blood pressure #which was probably shit #but i dont remember how j got on that chair tbh #i remember i was just kinda like. slumped over #and then they brought a wheelchair to take me to a room #and then i was just laying there #and then a nurse came in and was like ok time to put an iv in you! #and i still had thr presence of mind ti protest #idk if i cried or not #dont know if i had enough water in me to do that lmaoo #but i was yelling i think?? idk man ivs fucking hurt #but yeah then i was just laying there while they prepared a more legit room for an overnight stay #the dehydration thing was like. whatever like u know i was barely alive enough to process that lmfao but the actual stomach flu part before #before that?fucking awful. i didnt even have a chance to have mew years dinner #and then everyone insisting i drink gatorade to get fluids back or whatever cuz i ket throwing up #and then i kept throwing THAT up so it just made it worse #AND THEN being forced to go to sleep in my regular bed instead of my parents bed :( #truly ive never felt so awful #and then my mom going ugh when i was complaining on the drive to the hospital #like mam im shriveling up as we speak i think im entitled to some complaints #imaging starting your year off with a hospital stay #everyone like michelle how was winter break? oh fine! kicked off the year with a bang by getting hospitalized <3 #michi tag
