seeing people on twitter missing the entire point of ep3 and getting legitimately mad at rick for the things he said to michonne at the end is crazy because hello????? rick grimes would do or say ANYTHING to keep his wife safe. obviously he doesn't actually think he belongs with the CRM more than he does with her. he just knows that as long as she's at the CRM, she's not safe, and if they both leave together, their family isn't safe. she HAS to go back, but he also knows she could never let herself leave without him so he's doing everything he can to make her hate him to make it easy for her to go. of course she sees right through him because nobody knows rick like michonne. not pearl, not jadis, not okafor... NOBODY. pearl says it herself, she can't even picture rick helpless and afraid, but michonne knows it's all a facade. she clocks right away that he's terrified out of his mind, and she's not going to give up on him just bc he told her they were done. she knows him too damn well.

I hope what "the last time" means and what it sets up, is that this is the last time they'll have to risk it all and fight to live and secure and ensure their safety because at this point they have earned their fucking rest. earned their family and earned their happy ending.

And quite frankly, so have we, the fans. failure is never an option. Whether we have them for one season, two or three seasons. Give them that. Give us that.

I dont really watch twd anymore but I know they keep trying to do this thing with Negan where if someone (esp Maggie) has issues with him then he'll go like "OK well how many people have YOU killed" & the audience is supposed to agree with him even though he like was actively kill happy, killed people in the most brutal way possible, and terrorized them into giving him their supplies instead of just trading or cooperating.
