Yandere!Cyrus (General) headcanons:

Tw: GN!reader, Yandere themes, Conditioning, Abuse, Manipulation, Implied murder, Kidnapping, Captivity, Criminal activities, Implied trauma, Obsessive behaviours, Unhealthy relationship, Stalking, Mentions of omnicide.

+ For the first time in his life, he did not know what to make of this situation and it terrified him to a great extent. Yet, it burned him with boiling anguish and confusion. You were just an ordinary scientist, who he accidentally happened by as he went to Veilstone headquarters.

+ Both of you shared the same philosophy regarding the essence of the soul. How it serves as nothing more than a catalyst for strife and suffering. But, differed in the solution to the cause. He was cautious enough not to spill his plans, whilst debating with you. Truth to be told, Cyrus never had a freshing discussion as he was mostly consumed by his end goals to ever give a thought to it.

+ “It is rather true that the spirit causes a plethora of suffering and may end up ravaging the earth in an attempt to satiate itself. But without the spirit, we won’t grow as individuals. And if we didn’t, are we considered truly alive?….. It is the most interesting debate I had in a while and I must thank you for that. I bid you a good farewell, Cyrus.” Your words befuddled him, yet it remained still in his mind.

+ Perhaps, this was merely a scientific curiosity. Nothing more or less. It began to become a bigger hurdle than what he initially thought, when it crossed his plans. You persisted on engulfing his mind and that vexed him. Was Mesprit the culprit in play? Was it well aware enough of his true intentions and decided to mock him by condemning him to the most ironic fate possible? If so, he will extinguish it after garnering the red chain alongside his newly found interest.

+ So, he decided to employ Sird to keep an eye on you and relay any information regarding you. After all, she is the only one who he can trust to accomplish this mission efficiently and without any complications. It has been more than six months, since he kept an attentive gaze on you. It was rather difficult to ooze any information out of you, owing to your reclusive and vigilant nature.

+ Cyrus commends you for your skeptical and logical mindset, perhaps a collaboration is in need. For him to keep his steely eyes on you, while you have the apparatuses for your research in hand. Maybe, he could persuade you to join his cause. Once Sird delivers him the personal information he had previously requested, he felt an oddly painful tug in his icy heart as he continued reading it.

+ An extremely familiar tug that he had never felt since his time at Sunyshore. Prior to leaving his old hometown, Cyrus had completely shut his heart out lest it might end up torn apart like it had once. To watch it happen to another, opened old gashes that he never wishes to see again. Now, he can clearly discern why he was so invested in them. He can see a resemblance of himself in them, yet it seemed they had paved a completely distinctive path than the one he is currently on.

+ They have succeeded whereas he failed, that despite everything they remained perseverant. Perhaps, they were right about how the spirit completed oneself…. No, no. That can’t be, if that was the case then why does he feel so dissatisfied and bitter? And, why strife remains existent? Wouldn’t it be beneficial for the world to live without it? In his experience, it is better to be null than to be in a state of perpetual suffering.

+ Instead, his obsession kept on festering akin to a disease that hijacked his pallid body in its deadly grasp. What was once a burning desire to terminate, has shifted into a desire to help in any way possible. Cyrus felt disgustingly sick and his commanders took notice of it. If he couldn’t get rid of them or the thought of them, then he ought to bring them here and hold them accountable for this illness.

+ Cyrus is obsessive, overprotective, and deeply paranoid in regards to his darling. In spite of that, he remains one of the most lucid yanderes to come across. His obsession towards them stems from either shared trauma or lack of it.

+ In the case of shared trauma, he loathes them and their agony for it is a glaring reminder of his own imperfections. Whilst the latter, is owing to their ignorance and naïve perception of the world. A deep seated fear of his, is for them to be scared of him and/or reject him.

+ At first, Cyrus treatment towards his darling is volatile. It switches between utter cold disregard, then to an indirect yearning of their attention and affection. To say the least, they are confused and scared as if their abrupt abduction by a notorious criminal wasn’t enough. Which ironically prompts the thing that he fears the most.

+ Cyrus is a calculated, intelligent, and an intuitive individual. He knows when his darling is scared and would immediately remedy the situation by indulging in their interests. Perhaps, even giving them a pokémon to keep them company while he is busy elsewhere. No matter how busy Cyrus is, he will always make time for them to attend to their needs.

+ Speaking of goals, Cyrus will definitely find a way to keep his darling with him as everything “incomplete” is replaced with his ideals. Once his initial panic fades away, he will bend the world to appease his darling. You want mountain of books to satiate your curiosity? With his resources as a team leader, he could secure libraries and “gift” it to them. The methodology does not concern him, as much as the result. So long, you are pleased then he too is pleased.

+ Cyrus will condition them to obey him. Good behaviours will be rewarded, whilst the bad ones are punished. He carries the rewards, whilst his grunts do the dirty work. Thus they will start associating him with goodness, whilst others -be it his own cohorts or otherwise- are foes to be avoided. Let it be known that if the grunts stepped out of line in the punishment, they will be dealt with and be replaced with others. They are all expendable in his eyes, apart from his darling.

+ Cyrus knows he is being selfish -for Arceus sake, he is a criminal in the eyes of others.- but can’t he just have this one good thing in his dreary life. He wants to worship his beloved in peace, going as far to deny them their freedom. It is a price they have to pay for captivating his soul, mind, and heart. He will never let them disentangle from the webs he weaved specifically for them and them only, even if he had to tear the fabrics of time and space.

hello!! hello hello!! wow i always forget how excited yet unprepared i get every time i join a new directory, and right bang when the first main event happens-- thank you for the warm welcomes already!! after posting this, i will be getting them right away (albeit a bit slow bc i’m right in the middle of exams - i know, good life choices on my part to join a new place--) and hope i can get some plots going for ‘jun here! as a mun, i go by jess and have eyed mi in it’s previous runs but never found the chance to join until now. i have his profile up here, but haven’t had time for his history (oop--) so i’ll insert a ‘brief’ summary and some ideas for plots i’d like below the cut!

as usual, you can like this post and i’ll make my way to your IMs. i’m also reachable on twitter, but can have difficulty keeping up with DMs on there, but if that’s better for you for plotting, lemme know!

tw; alcohol, physical abuse, family death, mention of murder??

goes by jun to anyone he meets, and doesn’t give out his full name. if he has to give out a full name, it’s son jun. his full name was changed to ‘son haejun’ at the age of 18. no one will have known he was ‘jaebong’ unless you knew him before he was 18

is 25 years-old, born on myeongcho, youngest of two

his older sister is son kyungri (rhea), and they have a tense relationship. they love each other to bits and jun would die for her, no questions asked, but it’s sometimes stable, sometimes up and down

born into a family that wasn’t really well off, it was his sister who raised him most of the time. mum abandoned them when he was 8 (he was lead to believe by kyungri that she had died), and father was abusive and a drunkard before getting too greedy with criminal dealings and being murdered. jun felt little remorse for his father’s outcome

was never a smart one, instead was very athletically talented and built (try catching him in a race). however, views his sister as the ‘perfect’ one, and himself as a constant failure due to the direction his life has gone

has worked a tonne of odd jobs since 18. has since settled as a part-time bartender at (place to be determined here; possible plot idea??) and also a part-time mechanic at barae motors

criminally, he’s gotten into stealing (thief for hire) and also will fix and mod things for you (as a mechanic), for a price. always for a price, bc the world isn’t free. unless, y’know, you steal

is based off of the canon guilty: cu1 on the canon positions page. that is all canon for his history

is largely neutral and unaffiliated; the circumstances leading to his father’s demise have made him very wary for gang warfare and rivalries (for now ...), so he’ll do jobs but not get into dramas, and makes this clear

he doesn’t really trust anyone in a deeply personal level. will mostly like have a group of friends to hang out with, because he’s quite sociable on a non-personal level -- but don’t get him wrong; he’s not loyal to the bone at the risk of himself

has a crude but honest manner of speaking. you won’t get much manipulation from him

possible plot ideas !!

city mates (open to many) -- this would be his town crew, his go-tos for banter and hanging out in his spare time for legal and maybe some not-so-legal activites. almost like a replacement family, but not equal levels nor guaranteed trust. looking for long-time friends (7+ years) as well as newer mates!

best friends (open to 2-3) -- these would be a few of the people he really trusts, more than others. not all secrets are spilled, but he’d be more honest with you

ex-girlfriend(s) -- he’s had his fair share of romantic relationships, but for one reason or another, it’s ended. maybe they stayed friends, maybe an argument broke out. it’s all free reign!

little push towards the flames (must be phoenix member) -- jun has been getting his feet wetter and wetter into crime; there’s already the blood of murder on his conscience, and when he reaches the crossroad of which way to go, this person will give him a nudge towards gang life. may act like a mentor, be a sort of friend, or maybe even a romantic interest to convince him

fix my ride (open to all) -- he’s slowly made a name for himself as a mechanic on myeongcho, picking up his skills working at barae motors on and off for the past six years. you might know him from his civilian job, or maybe you’ve heard of him as ‘dodger’ through the gang grapevine. either way, he’s good at what he does, if you can pay for the jobs.

butting heads (open to multiple) -- jun isn’t there to try please everyone, and he doesn’t make an effort to. if you don’t like him, you don’t like him, and if he doesn’t like you, you’ll know about it. with him often out in the city, it’s not unlikely that they’ll meet more than they’d like, and it’ll never be a totally civil encounter

flickering flame that can’t burn (in process of plotting) -- there’s definitely something burning, and they both know it, but they also both know it can’t really work out. but still, they can’t quite bring themselves to blow out the flame

these are very generic plots, and i also love to create plots that are very specific to our muses’ backgrounds as every muse is unique, which we can do in IMs if that’ll work better!

Deep End AU: World’s Fair Teaser.

Tw: Mentions of blood, Criminal activities, Chapter is prone to changes, and that’s it for now (more warning will be added, if necessary).

Note: Some segements weren’t added, due to the reason stated above. Also, I owe you at least a teaser after nearly 3 months of inactivity.😭👌

Amidst responding to common inquires, a loud and harsh boom has hindered the fair’s chattering and cordial atmosphere into plight of screams and distress. As a group of criminals have forced their way into the building, donning black uniforms with a large red “R” imprinted onto their shirts. Team Rocket, yet they seem somewhat different than usual. Almost, if not all, were hybrids of various mons. Predominately, dark and poison types.

“Cooperate and hand over all of your Pokérus supplies to us, or else we will take Professor Eta as a hostage.” Said one of the members brusquely; Voice strained owing to the deadly cypress gas that meshed with his own blood. Which slowly oozed from the big circular pores, that littered around his skin with a large patch of his neck being the most affected.

If not for her decade of experience handling hybrids, the scientist would’ve find his sickly purple epidermis to be disturbing. A hybrid of Koffing, she assumed- which made up the majority of the grunts- aside from a few Arboks/Haunters here and there.

Although, that did not confound her as much as how they were operating without their leader and how they’re able to gain ludicrous amount of genetic modifiers. After all, Scourge was caught last year and has been contained since then.
