For your Turtle Power au how/where/when did they get their powers or realize they had any

2. As of now, the only characters with powers are the turtles, (some of) the foot clan, (some) mutants, and the yokai!!

3. The pros and cons between them:

Leo- Pros: Can manipulate any liquid that contains water, and he can breathe underwater. Cons: Gets dehydrated really easily if he overworks himself and he’s CONSTANTLY thirsty regardless.

Donnie - Pros: Can carry a little more weight telepathically than he can physically!! He can also read the minds of anyone in a 6 foot radius. Cons: Both powers can be incredibly straining on him and his mind, can cause physical pain and even fainting spells if overworked. His telepathic communication also has a radius limit, think radio connection, the further he is from the person he’s listening to, the more radio static it will sound to him.

Raph: Pros: Fire and Heat resistant, allows him to touch flames and overly heated objects. Cons: Unlike his Leo’s powers he cannot manipulate fire, only create it, meaning that if the flames left his hands he wouldn’t be able to them!!

Mikey: Pros: Can harness electricity from anything (even lightning itself!!) He can also power up other things with said electricity!! Cons: Using too much of that electricity overloads his nervous system (YEOWCH) and can cause a burning effect similar to (if you’ve seen the rise movie) Rottmnt Mikey when he opens the portal :3

You said Leo can manipulate anything containing water in it. Could he manipulate like blood/peoples bodies since they contain water :33??

I think there was an episode on Avatar that was centered around that tho I could be wrong or confused lol

The answer would be yes!! I actually thought about this a while earlier believe it or not! I’m not sure if I’m going to actually make him use that ability in the au buttt if I did I think he would have a similar morale to how Katara felt about bloodbending. (Rarely using it unless 100% necessary/being disgusted by it) :3

Could we learn more about the turtles dynamic with each other?

Oh my goodness I keep forgetting to answer this 😭😭

Anyway the brothers have a pretty basic sibling dynamic, teasing and fooling around!!

Mikey is the baby of the house so he’s not taken that seriously all the time, he’s also definitely the instigator in the family!! He can’t cook for SHIT but his brothers always pretend it’s good so they don’t hurt his feelings

Leo’s the oldest and the “leader” (he gave himself that title), he’s always looking out for his little bros, even when they don’t want him to :p (if you’ve seen mutant mayhem you’d know the dynamic Im going for)

Raph is rough with his brothers but in a playful way!! Sometimes he forgets how freaking MASSIVE he is when play fighting/training. He’s really competitive but he often plays video games with his bros (and gets real mad when he loses) He’s also very impulsive and hotheaded, frequently ignoring his brothers advice out of spite.

Donnie is like that one sibling that always has to correct you, he’s also actually pretty competitive and is usually the one against Raph in video game seshs, his brothers usually rely on him for math and academic stuff because they don’t know anything past basic multiplication
