My gf found this unbelievably shockingly gorgeous millipede under a log today!!!! Apheloria virginiensis, according to iNaturalist 💕 (and yes we washed our hand thoroughly after we put it back because they supposedly secrete cyanide compounds when in distress)

#i looooooove millipedes but I’ve NEVER SEEN A BBIG BOY LIKE THIS IN THE WILD #like sooo beautiful and SO CHILL I’m pretty sure it didn’t secrete anything #tummy soooo yellow and surprisingly fast!!!!!! #bugblr
