Sea life art pieces by Mitizure (shop), made using tsumami zaiku (folded silk squares) technique. You can see here a whale and her calf, a sea turtle, a sea angel/clione, an anomalocaris (?), and a winghead shark.
I also really like those other works (moth+rooster):

Free Trial Lesson - Review
I do think that the free trial lesson video was easy to follow, and I am pretty sure that beginners could easily make this very simple flower. You may not have the required tools and materials, but in the end it is easily replaceable: I myself do not own all the necessary tools so I replaced the small wood board with a cutting mat (with its plastic packaging on it) and the spatula with a plastic (but sturdy) knife.
If you do not have starch glue, you can use craft glue (which means that you do not need to use a small wood board and a spatula anymore since those are only required in order to spread the starch glue).
I usually use the サクラクレパス ボンドタッチ but in YT videos, I often see people use the コニシ ボンド 木工用速乾ハンディパック one. I would also like to recommend the 接着美人, a special glue for Tsumami Zaiku! (If you decide to use craft glue, I would recommend buying some sewings clips - I use the Clover
As for the tweezers, I own a A TPS-1, which costs a bit less than 300¥ (it is very cheap). If you are not sure about wanting to make Tsumami Zaiku seriously, it would probably be a good investment. I have been using mine for 3 years already and it is in a pretty bad shape now, but I actually like it because it is light and thin. I have a very small hand and a weak wrist, so it is much easier to handle than the one you could get on Chirimenbunny’s website - but if you want to make Tsumami Zaiku in the long term, I would still recommend to buy the one they have on their website as it will be easier to make the flick motion for Ken-Tsumami and to make some other petal shapes.

My design was made with Petit Pan fabrics (Pivoine rouge, Grande Pivoine rose, Wasabi émeraude).

Hishi-yaegiku (Diamond double-flowering chrysanthemum) clip*
The fabric is pure silk chintz that my mother bought several years ago in Nakai, the city of dyeing. I couldn't get up the courage to cut it, so it was buried deep in the box of scraps, but I decided to make it! I made it into a large clip with a hishi-tsumami (diamond tsumami) that allows for more patterns. I used gold parts to match the color of the pattern.

Maru-rokubenka (Round-six-petal) flower mini clip*
I've been struggling with this for a long time.
With sewing tsumami, it's hard to form a round tsumami at my pleasure....... I was not good at it for a long time, but by using a little bit of glue, I can form the shape quite well now. I started sewing tsumami because I didn't like the feeling of the glue sticking to my hands, but I have to try to use it properly; :-) The flavor, which is formed into a rounded elevation, is unique to round tsumami, and I would like to make more of them in the future.
I also love the dangling decorations using diamond tsumami that look like buds♪ They are as hair ornaments and stole clasps🌸
