The Purple little cottage

So So So Purple!!

Someone on a Sims4 Facebook group posted an AI generate image of a little purple cottage, and wondered if it was doable.....

Challenge Accepted!!!!

Obviously there are limitations with Sims 4, but I did try to keep it somewhat within the specs of the original cottage (although a bit bigger). I tried to keep the cottage to mostly EA build/buy. BUT.... a good portion of the plants in the garden are CC.

A HUGE call out to @anachrosims for the gorgeous purple paneling I used (and the wallpaper inside)- apparently Anachrosims is one of the only Custom Content Creators who believes that we all deserve Paneling in EVERY colour of the rainbow.... including purple!

I've already uploaded this build onto the gallery: Little Purple Cottage, and my gallery handle is daniandnick.

The Coastal Collection - Part Two

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Its been a labour of love during the shorter month of February, but I'm excited to finally be able to share the second instalment of the Coastal Collection! This part focuses in on the Coastal outdoors. There were so many build items that I wanted to include in part one, that I actually decided to dedicate an entire extra month to get all the items on the original list...I still didn't achieve the goal, but I came pretty close!

The highlight of the month for me was the creation of the playhouse. It took 5 days to complete from start to finish, but I was so happy with the end result and its just one of those once in a lifetime items that shall never be repeated again, so its worth putting all that effort into.

There are quite a few items that do have pack requirements this month as there are mostly activity items for you toddlers, kids and soon to be introduced infants. The Sand Pit works just like a rug and can be placed anywhere you wish. Sand can be painted on the terrain to add the functionality of a real sand pit if you own the Island Living EP or if you only have Base Game it can be a great decorative piece for story telling. The Playhouse requires Dream Home Decorator as it works just like the play tent that was introduced in that pack. Lastly the Fire Pit requires Outdoor Retreat for full functionality.

You can find the majority of the items by searching COASTAL in the BB catalogue, however these will not show the column & 2 wallpapers that are included in the set.

I wanted to recreate the botanical gardens in Tomarang because although it was pretty, there wasn't really anything to do there so on this renovation I added a community garden, a special place for the spirit house, a place to grill and eat and a market area :)

Small Garden Collection

I have recoloured a few objects for a charm of a romantic, old, rusty garden. Maybe some objects will be added later, who knows ;)

From me are only the recolours the meshes I didn't make, the credits are visible in the description of the respective object in the game. For most objects it is essential that you download the mesh, otherwise the recolour won't work.

Of course it's not perfect at all, but it's my first house that I built entirely by myself and I love it. I've been wanting to take these beautiful screenshots for two days, but my game wouldn't load and I spent a lot of nerves trying to figure it out. And now, at 5am, I'm really glad I'm posting these particular pictures. The house isn't furnished right now, but I will do that soon and I'll be sure to show you the interior.
