Easter/Spring Day Meal! 🐑 🌼 🌸 🍀

I wanted to do something a little different for Easter and Spring this year, and I'm soooo happy how this turned out. I hope you and your Sims love it too!

This adds a new Grand Meal, and can be cooked either by clicking on the Fridge with the ordinary EA menu, or by clicking on my Cookbook. This meal will fulfil holiday traditions, you can "Call to Grand Meal" etc. :)

I *think* Seasons will be required, but it also might work without it as I've used base game tuning.

Categorykill Level: 7 (Gourmet)

Available sizes: Party

Dietary: Meals (Grand Meals)

Ingredients: Any Herb, Red Meat, Potatoes, Green Beans* (Seasons)

SIMS 4 - FASTER INSECT NURTURING - 3 SPEEDS - ECO LIFESTYLE REQUIRED

UPDATE: This mod is compatible with the March2023 patch and is now available on CurseForge.

Normally, insect nurturing takes 45-120 Sim minutes. That's just way too slow, especially with all the other things a sim has to do in a day!

This mod comes in 3 flavours with faster insect nurturing for all sims as follows:

Fast -- 21-30 Sim minutes with Higher Accelerated Health Gain

Faster -- 11-20 Sim minutes with Higher Accelerated Health Gain

Super Fast -- 1-10 Sim minutes with Super High Accelerated Health Gain

AM & PM Traditions

"AM & PM Traditions" are personalized habits your sims can use in their calendar to create their own morning and night routine so they can craft their own daily rituals.

Start your day off right with choices ranging from a refreshing morning shower, bathes, brushing their teeth and even shaving to some much-needed skincare. Don't forget a calming cup of coffee or tea after. Have work in the morning, I made sure to add a Pack Sack Lunch into the choices in their routine as well.

However, my favorite part of these traditions has to the be Words of Affirmations choice and journaling. I love having my sims indulge into some needed selfcare and couldn't hesitate not to add these features!

Everything Included

Bathe: Great for hygiene and starting the day fresh. It adds a realistic touch to your Sims morning rituals. All Types of bathing from traditional to using the petals, soaps etc.

Brush Teeth: Dental hygiene is crucial! It's good that you've included this routine to ensure your Sims maintain healthy teeth. You can complete this buy brushing your sims teeth by clicking on the sink.

Coffee and Tea: A perfect way to kickstart the morning or wind down in the evening. It adds a touch of realism and comfort to your Sims' lives. Brew and drink coffee or tea to complete this.

Journaling: A wonderful addition for Sims to reflect on their day or express their thoughts. It's a great way to incorporate self-care and mindfulness. Make sure to use the sims private journal to complete this.

Apply Makeup: For Sims who enjoy enhancing their appearance, this routine adds a touch of personal grooming. You can only do this at the vanity!

Remove Makeup: A thoughtful inclusion for Sims who prefer to go makeup-free or need to prepare for bedtime. You can only do this at the vanity!

Pack Lunch: Ideal for Sims with a busy day ahead. It's a practical addition for those who want to bring their own meals to work or school. Make sure you pack a sack lunch to complete this.

Shave: A grooming routine for Sims who prefer to keep a clean-shaven look. It adds realism to their daily preparations. This includes all body shaving areas, not just your face!

Shower: An essential part of maintaining hygiene. This routine ensures your Sims stay clean and refreshed. Just do your usual showering!

Skincare: A great way to incorporate self-care into your Sims' daily lives. It's perfect for those who prioritize skincare. I love this one, make sure you use a face mask or the cleanser to complete this.

Words of Affirmation: A fantastic addition for promoting positive mental health. It adds a meaningful and uplifting touch to your Sims' routines. Psyche self-up in a standing mirror to complete this. You do not do this one at the vanity.

Strength and Weakness Preferences

🎨 This lets you pick each Sim's strengths and weaknesses in CAS preferences.

Each strength/weakness determines how fast a class of skill can be gained, the skill decay rate for using this preference set with my Skill Decay Mod (optional), as well as boosts and setbacks in certain careers.

You can mix and match these 16 types of strengths/weaknesses.

All base game and pack skills + careers are covered by at least one strength & weakness.

These give Moodlets when using Skills and some simple Base-Game Wants.

Base game compatible. No other requirement!

It gives no effect if you don't have a mentioned pack's skill/ career.

Compatible with any other mods. Sports include effects for ilkavelle's Realistic Swimming if you install her mod.

Hey, love your blog! Would it be possible for you to tell us exactly what changes you made to your GraphicsRules file and what they do? I’m torn between using yours or SimpSetters by Simp4Sims! Thank you :-)

Hiii... I remember most of what I changed, which was not a lot. Just forewarning because for whatever reason, I forgot to save the original from the last update.

I keep my settings on the highest available, so I only updated the lines that coincide with the max settings in game options.

Lighting quality - changed shadow size for larger shadows

Object quality - using LittleDica's tutorial - changed to use the bigger textures to get rid of blurriness. This number could be 2048 (2K) since most creators don't go beyond that. I just decided to use 4096 (4K) in case some do.

Sim quality - changed texture sizes to allow 2K and the minimum LOD.

Even with my graphics card (RTX 3090), the sims did not look as good until I changed these things. I tried using Simp's settings, but after a lot of experimenting (and jacking up my game), I found I only needed to change a few things to be happy with how my game looks.

Grilled Scallops

Sunny and Olivia live by the sea in Brindleton Bay, and love to collect fresh scallops that sometimes wash up on the shore. Occasionally, Sunny's work brings him to Sulani, and he always returns with a bag of scallops from the fish market vendors. Olivia grills the scallops in their shells with butter, garlic and parsley, and they sit out in the summer evening and eat them with a generous glass of white wine.

Standing around waiting for my sim to finish researching a plant has become tedious, something I needed a fix for.

This mod comes in 3 speeds and reduces the amount of time required from 50-60 minutes to the following:

Somewhat Fast -- 21-40 Sim minutes

Fast -- 11-20 Sim minutes

Super Fast -- 1-10 Sim minutes

Life Satisfaction

⏩ This mod measures a Sim's well-being and gives satisfaction points, buffs, & effects on Fun or Energy Needs based on previous mood experiences.

Staying in a positive mood increases your Sim’s Life Satisfaction. Oppositely, being in a negative mood decreases Life Satisfaction.

Can be viewed in Skills panel ---> Fundamentals

Base-Game Compatible

Compatible with my other mods

No editing of any game resources. Compatible with other creators' emotions mods e.g. Lumpinou's custom mood pack, roBurky's Meaningful Stories, etc.
