#trying to evade bounty hunters/lawmen/pinkertons

i'm currently almost 900 words into my wild west!bruce fic and i have:

no clue if it's gonna be a oneshot or part of a series

what i'm gonna do with the "the sheriff of the town is actually a power hungry piece of shit who kills anyone in his way" plot line that i came up with in like 5 seconds

when i'm actually gonna like. introduce bruce to the story

#personal.txt #i think i want bruce in the saloon? #that would be the easiest way to introduce him #or i could have the reader go into his office and ask about selling plants to him RDR2 style #that maybe too....weird though #i mean. i've already put the palomino horse in there twice now #that could be bruce's horse #because it would be kinda odd to bring up the same specific thing twice if it's not gonna be important right #i was originally gonna have the reader ask the bartender about the sheriff and bridger #but i think if i wrote bruce as like. a bit tipsy it'd be more realistic for him to tell the reader a bit about the background of the town #i think. i should add the reader struggling whether they wanna try and deal with the sheriff or continue to lay low because they're on the #run. ya know. #i do think them (and bruce) are gonna help the town in the end #or i'll just totally scrap the whole corrupted sheriff thing and just focus on the reader trying not to fall in love with bruce while also #trying to evade bounty hunters/lawmen/pinkertons #but also. who says i can't write both ideas👀 #that's what i'm gonna do. i'll split the 'corrupted sheriff' idea and the 'outlaw trying not to fall in love with the kind-hearted doctor #who may or may not have killed someone at some point' #good lord that's a lot of tags #wild west!bruce #i'm still gonna have someone killed at the beginning though #just not someone who was framed by the sheriff
