Zexal Month: The Moon, Reversed

It's pretty well-known, by now, but allow me to reiterate: the writing for pretty much all the Zexal girl was... bad. (Almost) Every girl was stowed away to be a secondary character at best, and them acting mostly out of love for a male counterpart, although understandable, felt really uninspired and tiring. It was especially painful to see on Rio, who had a really strong start and was set to have the same importance as our protagonists.

On the other hand, though, we can all appreciate how distinct they are in terms of decks and strategy! All their few duels onscreen really makes us appreciate them more, so here's what I wanted to see more: ladies dueling! I'll take it with a portion of "Better Writing That Lets Them Be Their Own Person".

On a pure, silly wish-fulfillment side, I wish we had more Arclight interaction as a family outside their whole revenge quest (in the first season) and supporting role (in the second one). We had some crumbles, and they were delicious. I'd like to see how a whole slice (if not even the cake) tastes like in canon.
