daily notes - oct 2, 2023
Apparently, this week is supposed to be pretty busy. Tomorrow, I have a doc appointment (annual thing, scheduled last year; I'm fine) and library duty. Thursday, LL-J and I (maybe with LL-K?) will be in Ellsworth for our birthday-lunch celebrations. (Hers was last week, mine's next week.)
Dad's got cardio appts M-W-F for the next several months, which involves driving to Bangor each time. We went together last Friday, hit up the DMV to renew my license, then ate at a restaurant.
My brain is still occupied by cell phone games, but I feel more calm about it. However, I'm finding myself playing while in bed, when I should be sleeping or napping. I'm also waking up after short sleeps, and I feel like a toddler, resisting sleep, otherwise. I know it's a phase; I'll be fine.
The craft fair is about a month away. I don't think I'll have much more finished by then. I lost a lot of steam after that too-small hat project. I did start crocheting a cat and knitting a pumpkin, but I'll likely just be working on those at the fair, rather than finishing them in a timely manner. I'm not gonna push myself.
Since I have to fast for my doc appointment, I ate dinner late (to stay full for longer). I gotta get in the shower soon, though, so I can still drink soda before midnight. (I'm always thirsty; it's better not to question it, at this point.)

Week 5.
-
Jan. 30
I woke up a bit before 1PM today.
Did some dishes before I started on my exercise.
First, today’s DD. 1′ tucked side star plank hold (30″/30″). This was certainly an interesting challenge. One thing that helped my orientation was getting the top leg tucked before fully extending the same side’s arm upwards. I... kinda liked this one.
(After updating/posting last week’s logs...)
Last, Chapter 25 of the AoP. First segment was traveling again, 18TP. Done at Level 2, as high knees, and one go.
Workout proper was pretty much pure cardio and a lot of fun. I did it at Level 3, max rest. It went fairly smoothly - though there was one dodgy, but not painful landing on right ankle during one of the side-to-side jumps. I did like the moments where I locked in rhythm to the music I was listening too - that’s always satisfying.
Spent rest of night on a bit of the usual and some writing.
Went to bed obscenely late again, a bit later than yesterday.
-
Jan. 31
I woke up after 11AM.
One of the first things I got done today was exercise.
First, today’s DD. 10 cross body push-ups, done without EC. I SORT of manged EC, but deemed my form too sloppy to earn that. Did not go as deep and low to complete it with optimal form. Did try to get more out of it and compensate a little by doing it again at an incline again my bed. Felt slightly better about the form/loads.
Last, Chapter 26 of the AoP. First segment was more traveling, 42TP. Level 2, as high knees, and split into 12+10+10+10.
Did the workout proper at Level 3 (5 sets; 3x5 pushups + 2x10 squats + 10 jump squats per set), max rest. I chose to step into/out-of planks to dial down the aerobics a bit. Push-ups were so-so. But it was acceptable.
I then got to making today’s Hello Fresh Meal. Cavatappi beef ragù, It was okay. I wound up having to eat most of the leftovers. Might not be high on reprisal list for it.
Did some dishes and did another movie night with a friend. We watched Iron Man 1 & 2, tonight. It was a fun romp.
I did a bit of the usual and some writing, too.
Still got to bed obscenely late, but earlier than yesterday.
-
Feb. 1
I woke up after 10 AM.
Took a shower, did some laundry, made a phone call to fix my drug plan information (procrastinated on that one, lead to a couple days’ lapsing off my meds this week,  bleh), and washed some accessories (face and night masks).
Then I got into today’s exercise.
First, today’s DD. 80 side leg raises with EC. Dis one side first and then the other here.
Last, Chapter 27 of the AoP. First bit was a very short amount of traveling, just 3TP. Did at Level 2, as high knees, in one go.
Did the workout proper at Level 3, max rest. I’m glad that no matter what level it’s done at, that there was just one plank jump-in per set (at Level 3, I had to do 20 reps of each of everything else for 10 sets.) Doing the cross chops made me almost want to do those with my bokken (but I’m pretty sure I’d bust something in my room... Doing Katana Week again is sounding like a lot of fun, down the line.)
Did most of the usual and a little bit of writing stuff, for rest of night.
I got to bed in the red zone still, but more than an hour earlier than yesterday.
-
Feb. 2
I woke up after 10AM.
Did some writing, dishes, and played some games of rummy with grandma and Dad. Then I did today’s exercise.
First, today’s DD. 30 split lunges with EC (15/15). Manageable work.
Last, Chapter 28 of the AoP. Look, I was NOT looking forward to doing this. Because balance work - the last set BLIND.
Had one brief drop in my last sighted set - #4 - but I quickly strung together that side’s 10 reps for the balance knee-to-elbow crunches. Set #5 pissed me the fuck off. Managed to string the first side on right foot okay, SECOND side I had to fucking try what felt like over 10 gawd damn times to string it. I HATE blind balance work so fucking much. =_=
But I know in my heart of hearts, that’s more reason to actually practice this skill set. It can be invaluable to try to practice balancing work without visual cues - great for injury prevention especially as one gets older and may experience failing vision and generally worse recovery times from injuries.
One of these days, I’ll learn to be less salty about it. Today is not and was not one of those days.
The usual and some writing happened. So did our microwave deciding to die on us (will get a new one to replace it soon).
I got to bed in the red zone still, but about an hour earlier than yesterday.
-
Feb. 3
I woke up after 10AM.
After a bit of the usual, did today’s exercise.
First, today’s DD. 20 W-extensions with EC. Very doable. Still stuck my desk at least once, but never dropped/stopped for this.
Last, Chapter 29 of the AoP. First part was some travel - 15TP. Done at Level 2, as high knees, in one go.
Second part was a very doable cardio workout, done at Level 3 (15 sets, 1′ rest). Enjoyed doing the jumping jacks. Worked up a bit of a sweat, too.
Last part was 100 climbers, specified in one workout. I did this in one go. Pretty manageable work, for current level of fitness.
Spent most of day chatting and the usual. Did make dinner, but I was so out of it due to med lapse that I did document a pretty bad BFRB spell. (Microwave situation not helping matters.)
I managed to get to bed in the yellow zone, tonight. Partly in consideration for me needing to be up earlier enough to prepare for tomorrow’s appointment.
-
Feb. 4
I woke up after 10AM.
Spent some time logging and preparing notes for my appointment today.
Then, I only got in today’s DD for exercise. 50 plank leg raises with EC. New formatting choice on DAREBEE’s side made me wonder if I should do 25/25 or alternating - chose to do the latter.
Then went to my psych appt. It was kind of a mixed experience that I don’t feel like getting into.
After some of the usual... another family blow-up occurred. I lost all motivation/energy to WO. Yeah, not going to get into it over here... vented on the personal twitter enough.
I got to bed in the green zone. I felt like shit.
-
Feb. 5
I woke up around 7AM, today,
Had a dental appointment to get to. Which went alright. Nice to swing by the Starbucks afterwards, before getting taken home.
Was exhausted enough by the time I got back to take a nap for a couple hours.
Went into my exercise after that and a small snack.
First, today’s DD. 50 jumping jacks with EC. Very doable work. Would be tempted to do more, but I had a brutal workout ahead of me to be contending with, today.
Last, Chapter 30 of the AoP. First segment of things was traveling again. 57 TP. Done at Level 2 as high knees. Split this into 17+4(10).
Workout proper kicked my ass, but I still managed to get through Level 3. Probably the least fun and most dodgy aspect to it was the jump knee tucks part. I pulled in my planks for transitions with a jump, but mixed it up between stepping/jumping out into planks. Mostly to moderate intensity levels a touch - especially some sources/loads of impact.
Opted to pick the option to continue the story.
After that, made today’s Hello Fresh Meal. Za’atar crusted grilling cheese with sumac roasted veggies and couscous. I liked this pretty well, first time I’ve tried sumac before. I’m kind of proud of myself for thinking of cherries/plums when I tasted that spice (as it turned out that those were related fruits.) Probably coulda went a bit easier on the overall oil usage and grilled the cheese at a lower level (to have better integrity).
I spent rest of night on the usual stuff. I got to bed barely into the red zone.

Fitness Log - Week 01
Last weekend I went to a Naginata seminar/tournament in NJ which was 18hrs of intense work for two-three days so... I was pretty dead to the world on Monday. (But I got a new rank and my partner and I placed 4th in the competition! So it was a very good time and we’re all really proud.)
No practice on Monday because everyone was nursing their sore muscles :(
Tuesday: Went to the gym for an Arms/Shoulder/Back day.
- 15 mins cardio on the elliptical - Assisted pull ups: 50 lbs 2 x 15 / Assisted dips: 70 lbs 2 x 15 - Chest Fly: 10 lbs 2 x 10, 25 lbs 1 x 10 - Shoulder Press: 10 lbs 3 x 10, 15 lbs 2 x 5 - Pulldown: 35 lbs 1 x 10, 40 lbs 2 x 10, 45 lbs till failure - Row: 30 lbs 2 x 10 - Chest Press: 35 lbs 2 x 10 - Elastic pulldown:  42lbs till failure - Elastic Row: 17 lbs till failure
- Free weight/Dumbbell workout inspired by @ryocos ‘s Brigitte workout : Overhead shoulder press, Lat raises, Rear delt raises, upright row, hammer/bicep curl, tricep kickback, overhead tricep extension.
Finished with some simple core exercises, cooldown, stretching.
Also had my therapy appt, and was very sad to find out my therapist is moving next year so I won’t be able to continue working with her :( She was the best match I’ve had yet.
Wednesday: Practice! It was great, everyone is pumped post-seminar.
Thursday: This was supposed to be my Legs/Core day but the DepressionTM hit and... I couldn’t get out of bed :/ Did some free-weight squats/deadlifts in my room instead and left it at that. My mental health has really tanked the last two days, and I barely made it to practice on Friday either. Then pulled an allnighter to finish two essays and I’m feeling awful.
So.. not the best ending to the week but I’m hoping I can do better as of tomorrow.

2/27/18
Finally got an activity tracker band/watch. I had been looking at Fitbits, but the decent priced ones aren’t waterproof. And I swim often, so that’s very important. I found the Garmin Vivosport, it’s waterproof, has GPS and all the features I need.
Now that I have the activity tracker, i’ve found that i’m unable to get my hearty rate up high enough for a real calorie burn. That’s because i’m on a beta blocker that i’m very sure I don’t need. My cardiologist put me on it after the heart attack. But.. My blood pressure has always stayed low normal. So, I really don’t think I need a beta blocker. I have an appointment with my doctor today to talk to her about going off of it. Also thinking about asking if it would be possible to switch to a different cholesterol medicine that’s not a statin. Not in a big hurry for that, though. I just want OFF this beta blocker (metoprolol).
The one thing I don’t like about the activity tracker, it doesn’t have a setting to record swimming. At least, not that I have found. It has walk, run, bicycle, cardio and “other”. I did cardio last time, and it said I burned a lot lower amount of calories than websites say i’m burning....because swimming burns more calories that most forms of cardio.
I went to the weight loss clinic last night to get a refill on my Phentermine. The doctor was so surprised to see I lost 14 pounds since last visit, last month! I hope I keep losing at that rate. I’m already starting to feel better having lost the little bit of weight i’ve lost so far. I’ve lost 20 since the first of the year. I’m only 10 pounds away from the weight I was at 3 years or so ago, when I met Mark.  And only 15 pounds away from my wedding goal (April).
My goal has been a size 12/14, which was about 160 last time I was that size. Mark asked me not to go lower than a size 20. I told him i’ll see how I feel when I get down to a size 18 or so. lol I was pretty happy with myself at 18/20. Happier at 12/14, though. Idk. He likes bigger when it comes to ladies. I like bigger when it comes to guys, too, so I can understand that. I’ve told him that I hope he still has a tummy when he gets down to his goal. lol I like the teddy bear type, as opposed to muscle-y or skinny. I have found thin and muscle-y men attractive, though, i’m not anti-thin or muscle. I just prefer chubby. And I prefer to BE somewhat chubby, for that matter. In my early teens, I wanted to be skinny. As I got older, and as I lost weight in my later teens, I realized that I don’t look good below a certain weight. I got down to about 150ish, and could see prominent collarbones, didn’t like it. No offense to anyone thin or athletic, again, I have seen beautiful people in ALL sizes. Really thin just isn’t for me, personally.
I found a swimsuit that fits me. The swimskirt fits, but will fit better as I lose more weight. It’s made with a slit in the front/side, and I don’t really like that. I would like that look if I were a bit smaller. The swimtop is pretty, but it is pretty tight. It totally flattens out my chest. lol It will fit better as I lose more of this fat though. I don’t like that the swimskirt doesn’t go above my bellybutton, and the top isn’t quite as long as i’d like. For the most part, it fully covers. But sometime, a little skin (tummy) shows. lol I wouldn’t mind so much, if I were a bit smaller. But I do mind a little at this size. lol
I’ve been tanning again, it had been a while. I’m starting to get a decent color going, for a ridiculously pale, freckly person. ha I started out trying to do the full 15 minutes, and got burned, so I had to start out slow. I also took advantage of the few beautiful days we had, and got a little natural sunlight. Missing the warmth already......can’t wait for actual Spring! ...And Summer. The lake, camping, outdoor pool.
I dyed my hair burgundy. It came out more red. After swimming a few times, my hair has faded so bad. It’s only been a week ago that I colored it. I have black that I plan to streak it with......hoping the black doesn’t fade too much. Red tones are known to fade quicker than other shades, but not usually that fast.
I haven’t been able to swim much in the last few days.. Went Sunday, but things have been chaotic. Between a parent teacher conference and appointments, just no time. Missed 2 water aerobics class. Planning to swim tomorrow and catch the class Thursday.
Speaking of Thursday, I have to plan for the girl scout meeting this Thursday. I wish we had two more mentors, so we can go back to badge earning meetings.
We’re going to have to find something to do for a couple hours in abingdon. Mark has a doc appointment at 11, and my appt isn’t until 2. I don’t want to waste gas, driving back to Bristol... So, what to do? lol
Having a problem with my stepdaughter’s bio-mother again. At the last visit, this past Saturday, she was talking bad about Mark again, telling her that her Daddy is keeping her from her. Which is far from true. We have taken her to every visit, which is every other Saturday from 10-8, without ANY problem. Her bio-mother is mad because she asked us to let Sierra stay the night with her and her new boyfriend (at the time, no longer together now), and we told her we want to stick with what the court order says. Which is a day visit, only. There has been a history of her saying inappropriate things to her, and she doesn’t have a stable place to live, so the court decided to only grant a day visit at this time. We have even more concerns about the situation there, not going into it, other than to say some things never change.
Really looking forward to Summer. Hoping I lose a good amount of weight by then. If I lose 2 pounds per week, I should be back down to the size I was 4 years ago, when I had lost quite a bit of weight, by June! That would be great. Then by October, I should be down to a size I haven’t been in more than 15 years. I hope I can keep going with this, staying active, eating well. I have my calorie limit at around 1200, sometimes up to 1500, and once in a while a higher calorie day, 1800. Most days, it’s around 1000-1100.
It’s really not difficult to keep the cals low, except for days when i’m really busy and eat while i’m out. That’s when the calories go up. I’m usually able to keep within my limit, though, by skipping other meals. I’m doing an intermittent fasting type diet. I don’t eat until 12 or after (sometimes 3-4PM), and stop eating by 8. It’s called the 16:8 method. It works out for me, because that’s how I have been eating on active days anyway, the days when I swim, etc.. The weird thing is, the more active I am, the less I feel like eating.
Right now, most of my exercise comes from swimming. Usually, I swim 4-5 days out of the week, sometimes 6. About an hour each day or longer. I’m going for occasional short walks. I want to increase my distance over time, and eventually try running. Maybe do a short sprint during my walks, to get used to it.

Brain dump
I made lunches the night before so I did NOT have to wake up at 5:15! I slept decent too.
Today I get to leave work at 2:30 (but to take Gavin to a doctors appointment so not very fun but hey I’ll take it).
Tomorrow morning is my bloodwork appt - which means no coffee until it’s over..... kill. me. I am terrified. I hope they take me right at my appointment time too so I am not late for work. I’m going to fill my hydro flask with coffee so it’s ready when I’m done lol
I might skip yoga tonight (I don’t know when we will get home from Gavin’s appt... it’s at 3:30 which means we may not even get home until after 5) and then I might head to the planet fitness and sign up and do a :gasp: cardio workout!
It’s only $10.... like wut. Tho I read the fine print and I have to pay a $40 annual fee?!? Wtf. I hate shit like that.
Our garbage never got picked up (and dan and I each spoke to them and was promised it would be) so now I get to call and say wtf. But today is garbage day so it better get picked up.
I also still need contacts. They discontinued mine (awesome!!!) and the doctor is supposed to pick a similar pair.... still haven’t heard.
I also never heard back from the OT who did gavins consult... so I have no idea if she’s recommending it.... I guess I’ll have to call his SC and see what she says? I really was not happy with this whole experience. And I guess that’s to do with the therapist because I loved his PT, who was always super vocal and informative and his SLP is the same way.
So looks like I’ll be making a billion phone calls today.... I absolutely hate being an adult.
I’m so bored with my life. I feel so trapped. I don’t really enjoy my job-I like the perks and I’m happy I made the decision to go back to this job because of the flexibility for Gavin and more holidays etc, short commute... but jeez. It’s mind numbing and extremely dead end. Granted I’ve never worked an office job that wasn’t dead end. I want to be challenged but I don’t want to work in an office. I have no idea what to do.
First day of counting calories was fine - was a tiny bit under. Everything (but dinner) is logged for today too. I got thisssss.

6/25
Oops looks like on 4/22 it should have been 6/22 my bad.
Since Thursday night I’ve been taking laxatives daily. It sucks. I hate having to rely on that mentally when I binge. I weighed at 174-175 today. I’m going to walk at least 2 miles today. I didn’t do it last time. I will today. I’ve texted Alex about going to the track or gym later today. Hoping she will hold me accountable. Today I’ve had muscle milk and 2 stalks of celery with low calorie ranch (~250 calories). I’m going to wait until 5 to have a meal (~300-500 calories). Work out. Then come home and have a smoothie.
If I go to the gym I can burn at least 300 calories. That will get rid of my muscle milk and get my cardio in. I want to be in 160′s by Alaska!
Tomorrow I’m making an appt with the weight loss clinic to get shots and pills.
I have so much to get ready for dental school. I feel lost and confused.

Time for something different than the past few weeks - I’m going to get back on the programs/challenges thing. One less thing taking mental work (training plans are reasonably fun - but yeah).
-
Oct. 19
I woke up a bit before noon today.
Spent a good deal of the day on the usual stuff, before setting out to exercise.
First, today’s DD. 20 skydiver push-ups with EC. Got through by the skin of my teeth - despite running on coffee and chocolate beforehand. But mission accomplished.
(After some distractions and mulling over my exercise plans...)
Second, Day 1 of the 30 Days of HIIT Program. Cardio HIIT, done at Level 3. I definitely started to feel it in the latter half and it got me into the sweat zone really good! I didn’t realize until later that the main version discrepancy was in the number of sets per level was required. So this was a bit easier, on the face of it.
This is going to be a second go around for me and was one of the first programs I’ve completed by DAREBEE. So it’s going to be interesting to get it done at higher levels than before (with a newer version than what I did before). Let’s see if I can hit Level 3 all the way through!
Third, Day 1 of the Power Grip Challenge. 40″ of un/clenching fists. I wound up doing things a bit faster than the .gif. Remains to be seen if  can continue to out-pace it throughout the challenge. But I will try to make sure to “keep up”. This will be good for my wrists, especially with a long history at the computer. :,D
(After a few hours to chill, work on art, and wind down...)
Last, Day 1 of the Get To Bed On Time Challenge. I barely managed to get to bed before 1AM - but “I’ve got this.“
-
Oct. 20
I woke up a bit before 1PM, today.
Spent some time on the usual, before getting in my exercises.
First, today’s DD. 20 single leg deadlifts with EC (10/10). This took like 4 attempts but finally got it done. The successful attempt had a lot of wobbling, especially from a bit of muscle fatigue and frustration - but I managed to keep from falling out. Despite said frustration - I appreciate balance work a lot. :D
Second, Day 2 of the 30DoHIIT. Elbow plank, done at Level 3. This was one of the version discrepancies with the first time around, 10-20-30 vs 10-20-10-20. I think the new structure is a bit more challenging (possibly because sum rest time during the round is less). The first 10″ interval is a bit awkward because of the time spent getting to position after a timer reset.
Third, Day 2 of the PGC. 40″ overhead flex hold. This was surprising a bit challenging! I had to carry over the steady breathing from the HIIT workout, for sure.
(After doing some more Pomodoro-timed art progress in...)
Last, Day 2 of the G2B.
-
Oct. 21
I got up a bit before 9AM, today.
After a bit of gaming, doing some dishes, and rewatching some KLK, I went directly to getting my exercise in early.
First, today’s DD. 1′ plank leg raises with EC. I counted 62 reps, by the end. The form was a bit awkward to keep track of the timer on my desk from the floor for the first half. But it was doable. :D
Second, Day 3 of the 30DoHIIT. One & One. I remember that these days kicked my ass the first time around. But, I do think that this version’s selection of exercises were easier to manage. (Maybe in a future go-around - I’ll revisit the old version of the program!)
I did count my reps for the whole sequence, too:
High Knees - 141
Butt Kicks - 128
Side Leg Raises - 58 (Alternated each rep)
Chest Expansions - 58
Jumping Jacks - 64 (Fun stuff, but kinda glad that this was the last “hard“ exercise of the workout.) :,D
Raised Arm Circles - 115 (Switched direction every 20 reps)
Alt Arm / Leg Raises - 40 (Alternated each rep)
Raised Leg Swings - 98 (Switched at 30″)
Knee-In Extensions - 42 (Switched at 30″; made awkward by constant tilting of line of sight between floor and desk to see the timer)
Third, Day 3 of the PGC. 50″ un/clenching fists. Managed to outpace the .gif again - but I did have to slow down near the end. May have to moderate things sooner than later. :P
(After some time, made some notes for my dental appointment tomorrow. I also worked on more art while using the Pomodoro technique.)
Last, Day 3 of the G2B. I managed to get to bed a bit before 1AM - so I’m holding the yellow zone. Barely scraping the ideal of around midnight. But, I have to allow some grace.
-
Oct. 22
I woke up after 9AM. Kind of annoyed about the alarm not going off. Not sure if I forgot to set it or just didn’t hear it, but thankfully my ride calling us got me up.
Went to the facility, but all I really did was participate in Seeking Safety Group and talking with the facilitator about various things (which was enjoyable). Good thing I didn’t completely lose track of time and was able to pull away on time to get picked up for my dental appointment.
Despite being a ball of nerves - the diagnostic appt went well enough. I'm going to try & see if getting a fitted night-guard may help. But I may have to consider getting orthodontics, down the road. Aesthetically, I don't mind having crooked teeth. I guess there may be functional reasons to do it.
I mean... I do bite my right cheek on accident more often than the other. And it may better distribute bite force on my teeth, in general (not just for the sensitive one). I guess I'm warming up to that idea more than ever. Only concern is if it's deemed a cosmetic procedure.
But, I think this was a good first impression with this clinic. They seemed very nice and communicative. So that was another point in the good for this experience. I’m doing something about this. That matters.
Got home (the transporter guy was fun to talk to, today), did some of the usual - but I did bake some pizza and exercised (even though I was already kind of exhausted at that point).
First, today’s DD. 30 reverse crunches with EC. Probably among my favorite crunch variations. Happy that despite a heavy meal, this wasn't a problem.
Second, Day 4 of the 30DoHIIT. Basic Burpees, done at Level 3. I noticed some concerning, but painless instability in left knee and ankle throughout the latter half. That did get pretty winding, regardless! (Like the elbow plank day, I think this was a bit tougher than the older version.)
Third, Day 4 of the PGC. 50″ overhead flex hold. Pretty simple and to the point.
Fourth, for supplementary cooldown, I did Iron Bar + Footwork to address the knees and ankles a bit more. I may have to run these WOs more for the next few days to see if that’ll rectify those concerns.
(After a few hours chilling with the usual activities...)
Last, Day 4 of the G2B. I went to bed in the green zone, tonight. (Estimated clock out time being before 1AM.)

Oct. 23
I woke up a bit after 10AM, today.
Spent a few hours on the usual before exercising, today.
First, today’s DD. 10 shrimp squats without EC. I felt I could only get 3/4s the way down to the floor, with chair support. It's super intense in the knees and I kind of didn't want to accidentally ram them into the ground on descent or be unable to get up. :P
Second, Day 5 of the 30DoHIIT. Active Plank, done at Level 3. Despite the lower set ranges - I think the fact it was all elbow plank variations might’ve made this harder than the older version of things, certainly more anaerobic (and wearing long sleeves were very necessary). I really felt my abs during the body saws, not breaking the plank until the side bridges (which was kinda odd to structure for an uneven number of seconds and without a 7.5″ buzzer - I settled on shooting for 4/4 to maximize rep count and symmetrical loading.)
Third, Day 5 of the PGC. 1′ un/clenching fists. Just about doable. Only issue was the long sleeves trapping my fingers’ ROM a couple times, when arms were down.
Fourth, I did the same cooldown workouts as yesterday. Iron Bar burns so good. :,D
Last, Day 5 of the G2B. I got to bed a bit before 1AM - so it was marked down as yellow for me.

Oct. 24
I woke up a bit after 8AM, today.
Got to the facility, did some drawing, and attended both the WRAP and Grounding Group today. Felt productive and reasonably thought-provoking.
Got home, was roped into a game of rummy but I had to tap out after that one. I was just too fucking tired to keep track of stuff. I think I was polite about it, though.
Did some of the usual to recover a bit, before getting in my exercise.
First, today’s DD. 40 ninja lunges with EC. Had to shore up a bit of energy after an exhausting day, to get this done. Was pretty busy, today. :P
Second, Day 6 of the 30DoHIIT. High Knees, Level 3. I think this was possibly easier than the old version - mostly for the lower set count. Nevertheless - I really felt the fatigue after the first 2-3 sets. Probably was not that great to do, feeling like I needed a couple hours of sleep.
Third, Day 6 of the PGC. 1′ overhead flex hold. Just doable.
Last, I did the same cooldown workouts as yesterday. I think that doing these as supplements will be a good thing.
I didn’t get to bed on time due to distractions.

Oct. 25
I woke up around noon, today.
Did a bit of the usual + some errands (got a flu shot + shopped to prep for the predicted outage tomorrow.)
Today’s an active rest day, so I didn’t do much in terms of exercise.
First, today’s DD. 2′ sitting punches with EC. This was another personal favorite and holding that ab engagement the whole time got to be quite the willpower game! I counted 253 punches thrown in the duration, feels like a good pace. :D
(After some time with the usual, and getting dishes done...)
Last, Day 6 of the G2B. I went to bed a bit before midnight. So, I hit the yellow zone again.

With that, I’m going to post this now. Power may go out later today (26).
